Pumpkin Pie should have a higher saturation value. Posted: 01 Mar 2019 02:16 PM PST It only makes sense. You're eating an entire pumpkin pie. I would suggest making it have a 1.6 saturation value along with cake, but at least move it up so that it's not at a 0.6 saturation value with LITERALLY dried kelp. [link] [comments] |
Redstone Rod - For Insulated Waterproof Transmission Posted: 01 Mar 2019 01:03 AM PST Redstone rod looks very much like an end rod with a gold base on both ends. They can only input and output a redstone signal to blocks that its golden ends are actually touching. To transmit between rods both must have their golden ends touching. A line of redstone rod can only travel in one direction, is insulated from adjacent lines, and it can travel in any direction unsupported. It should have a 1 redstone tick delay before propogating to the next rod just so you can make pretty light shows. Redstone rod will appear a dark red when unpowered, and will have a brightness equivalent to the signal strength when powered. If possible it would be nice for it to output a light level equal to redstone torches. Redstone cannot be placed underwater; This can. This block should be able to become waterlogged. It should have some amount of hardness and blast resistance as well. The crafting recipe is a gold ingot with redstone dust on each end to make 1. Justification

Option to enchant axes with looting Posted: 01 Mar 2019 08:05 AM PST Just a simple idea I had. I find it hard to justify using an axe as a melee weapon if it can't have looting [link] [comments] |
A place for Polar Bears to live - An underground borrow! (video included) Posted: 01 Mar 2019 07:52 AM PST If you don't want to read.. watch the video! - click here - YouTube Currently:Polar Bears just spawn randomly all over the place and wonder around. So they need a place to live! So then I had the Idea:They can spawn in an underground borrow! It's not that hard to implement. Not too complex. Not too OP. Pretty simple! Behavior/AI:Then they must go to their borrows at night to rest and sleep. [link] [comments] |
Sticky Rails & Sticky Powered Rails Posted: 01 Mar 2019 02:07 PM PST In a crafting table, surround a slimeball with either 8 normal rails or 8 powered rails to get the sticky rails. They can be placed on the side or the bottom of a block. Minecarts will stick and ride on these rails. In this way, interesting minecart systems can created and rollercoasters can actually have loopty loops. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Mar 2019 03:10 AM PST Inspired by this suggestion. If you're holding this totem when one of your tools is supposed to break, it will gain extra durability by getting a tag which lets it's durability go a bit below zero. However, this would also lower your maximum health (like negative absorption) until the tool breaks or is repaired at least back to 0. [link] [comments] |
Illusioners shoul replace evokers in raids Posted: 01 Mar 2019 03:45 PM PST As a way for them to make their way into survival mode illusioners could replace evokers in the newly added raids. I also think evokers should remain exclusive to the woodland mansion so we still have a motive to explore them. Illusioners should get a drop if added but I don't know what could it be. From my son: im ten and i thought of seasons in minecraft Posted: 28 Feb 2019 09:11 PM PST Seasons in minecraft would be pretty cool AND a youtube video somewhere said that Noch had the idea of adding seasons but he never did. Of course you can just just go to a different area but my idea makes things a lot more interesting. This is my idea of how it should go. SO every ten days there would be a different season. the player would start at spring then to summer then fall then winter and start all over again. For summer there COULD be a heat meeter so like "oh no your heat meeter is high!" until it gets to a point you will get nauseous and if it goes higher it will get worse and poison you for like three seconds to like say "hey your heat level is high!" and then when the heat meeter is at its highest BAM, worst nightmare, you're super nauseous you're seeing mirages and you have slowness you're seeing things like diamonds in the mountain but it's actually coal. Spring is normal no bad things happen. For fall its just like spring except everything is like fall with the leaves turning colors and leaves falling. Winter is the worst, you HAVE to find something warm like a torch. But a torch would just slow the cold meeter down. A fire/camp fire will protect you from the cold. As you start getting colder you would go slower. If the coldness meeter is low you will start to shake to say "HEY your coldness meeter is rising so find something warm!" Oh and also you can put a torch on your other hand and it will slow the coldness meeter down. Alright so if your coldness meeter is medium your screen will start to fill with ice and if it covers your screen you die and when you go to get your stuff it and your dead body will be there frozen in ice :) and you will have to thaw it out . If the coldness meeter is highest you are so slow you cant fight and your camera shakes REALY fast also the camera gos faster as the coldness meeter gets higher your screen fills with ice faster. Maybe there can be items to slow it down like a hat for summer which stops the heat meeter and makes it go down but the durability goes down when your in the summer sun and for winter ski goggles and a jacket that you can level up, snow pants to help you walk in the snow, and snow boots. The jacket and ski googles are to resist the cold snow pants and snow boots help you walk in the snow and makes a little protection from the cold. and maybe if you have all of it on and the jacket fully upgraded you can stop the cold meeter and makes it go down and will last like 7-8 winters and it is really hard to make. The hat would be more simple. You would have to just get wheat and make a hat for the summer. ALSO summer would be like spring but some plants wither or die. Winter looks like winter. AFAFEB: Beach (part 4 of lots) Posted: 01 Mar 2019 03:31 PM PST Imagine, you're just walking along the beach, looking at the turtles and feeding the dolphins, when you suddenly of lose 1.5 hearts of health accompanied by your screen briefly shaking. You just got stung by a Stargazer, an ugly fish with an upwards-facing face that buries itself in the sand and stings anything that walks over it. The stargazer delivers an electric shock through two spikes on its face. The stargazer hides in sand blocks on beaches and in the shallow waters around them, so you need to dig up the block it's hiding in to get to it. If you manage to kill a stargazer without it escaping, it might drop a Stargazer Spike. The spike can be placed on any surface, but it's most useful on the ground. Falling on an upright stargazer spike deals extra damage, as does running into a wall-mounted spike and jumping into a spike on the ceiling. If you power a stargazer spike with redstone, it will deliver an electric shock to whoever walks over it just like the one that you used to find it. If your victim continues to stand on the powered spike for whatever reason, they will be shocked every half-second. However, unlike lava or cacti, the stargazer spike doesn't destroy items. Posted: 28 Feb 2019 05:58 PM PST really they would be much more useful than the current mapping system, as the indicate elevation, biome, where rails are, etc. A way to switch between the two would be most ideal. Real life explorers generally use topographical maps. For those unfamiliar with topographical maps, here is what they are like https://www.natgeomaps.com/trail-maps/pdf-quads/ Edit: more info on topo maps https://youtu.be/CoVcRxza8nI If you zoom in it will show you roads, rails, biomes, elevation. Learning to read a topographical map is pretty simple, and I think if you gave a MineCraft player a topographical map it would not be hard for them to figure it out just by playing around with it. They would be much more useful than the current maps in a number of ways, such as being able to locate specific biomes and knowing when mountains will be in the way, etc. [link] [comments] |
Foxes Can be Loyal to More than One Player Posted: 28 Feb 2019 09:10 PM PST Ok, after some experimentation, I have determined that a fox can only be loyal to one person (or none). However, I think that if Player A breeds two foxes that are already loyal to Player B, the offspring should be loyal to both players. This way, if multiple players share a base, they can breed a population of foxes that doesn't segregate depending on where each player is. Anyone else on board with this? [link] [comments] |
Totems of Unbreaking, you know what’s about to go down. Posted: 28 Feb 2019 09:03 PM PST So, my last post about tape and glue got bashed because "anvils and grindstones already exist". Well, using that reasoning, Totems of undying are useless because healing potions already exist. That's not what I was going for. Now, I understand the problem of modern-ness with tape and glue, so I rephrased it to sound more fitting, but this would actually be useful for boss fights, if your Diamond sword is in near shards, and the boss is almost certain to win. Having a totem of unbreaking will instantly fix and use up any tool past its breaking point. Sorry for being snarky, I'm just really heated in the moment. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Mar 2019 07:59 AM PST We know Giants are one of the oldest mobs in minecraft and it sadly got removed its Ai and not entirely of the mob. I once heard they removed for being too overpowered. Well that may be true but I know Mojang can balance it. By changing the health, exp and damage points. Giants could be an interesting boss mob like the Elder Guardian, Wither, Evoker and probably nit the Ender Dragon. It can spawn like in huge ravines, in a hordes of zombies, etc. Also to make it more different from a zombie is the change of the look of a Giant. Make it more like an old zombie with ripped clothes and a deep voice. But that's my suggestions and I hope Giants will be part of the Minecraft mob family! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Feb 2019 10:22 PM PST This would be a new drop from vindicators and a new throwable weapon (ontop of that I think vindicators should be able to throw their axes). This axe would need a new texture to differ it from the iron axe. It can have loyalty like the trident and would deal 3.5 hearts with a mele and 2.5 when thrown. When its thrown, instead of the player lifting their arm, like with the trident, their arm would go out to the side. [link] [comments] |

Easier way of making bases mob proof Posted: 01 Mar 2019 04:48 AM PST What if minecraft had a block, which could be placed around your base to make it completely spawnproof. Right now the only way of spawnproofing your base is to light it up, or use weird spawnproofing methods. What if you could craft a block that when used with other of that same block could make an area spawnproof. It would be expensive obviously, but it would be an easier way of making sure that mobs dont spawn in or around your base, without resorting to torch spam. [link] [comments] |
Don't let passive mobs path-find through fence gates Posted: 28 Feb 2019 07:52 PM PST Ok, you know how people know use wool carpets on fences in order to get into and out from a fenced off area for animals way easier? That's because animals don't see fences as a block they can walk towards, even though they can jump right on the carpet. The fence just tells them "nope, nothing here." So why not with fence gates? I can't tell you how often I had to rapidly open-close a fence gate in fear of a hundred sheep running loose (yes this happened to me before, not exaggeration). Now, we just kind of got to deal with carpets I guess? Looks weird to me and I'm sure many people's OCD runs wild with that. And, in regards to the problem with a crowd of mobs pushing mobs through fence gates (regardless of whether the pushed mob path-finds through the gate), an easy fix is to have the ground of the animals one block lower than what the fence is on. They won't path-find up there if mob's path-finding are changed to this way, and mobs definitely can't push other mobs up one block. Let me know what you guys think, and what problems a non path-find fence gate will give :) [link] [comments] |
setting fire to grass blocks would cause a very small change to turn it into coarse dirt, Posted: 01 Mar 2019 03:50 AM PST Just like real life, grass (blocks) would actually burn and leave empty or dead spots on the land, we already have coarse dirt so why not have a change of the grass when lit on fire to turn into that. Would give you extra coarse dirt and a real aspect to the game.. And by simply digging it up and placing some other dirt down you have grass again [link] [comments] |
