The server has a couple of cool aspects, but it's an smp, the whole idea of it is a fantasy world that the community builds. We used a couple of mmorpg plugins to add mana, custom damage/hp system, over 400 new items (adding more by the days, just need more ideas) We have custom crops to allow trading between guilds for biome specific crops that can be used to make custom food/items We have alot of custom bosses with tons of abilities. The world is alive, people are doing things all over, for example, the server went into a war because one guy decided he wants a meteor (that was supposed to be stopped as an event) to crash, he got people on his side and it did crash after a long discussion and a meeting of all the guilds on the server trying to stop the chaos, from the meteor, a new threat rises for season 2. you can create your own race and get items,foods, and powers for your own specific race/character/guild the admins are constantly making new items for people. The server will open in 48 hours (Late Wednesday/Early Thursday time-zone depending) and this is to allow new players ample time to apply prior to the launch, meaning we can all get on at the same time and you all have an equal and fair start. This server is Java edition, meaning it will not support bedrock (Mobile/tablet) players. Elysia has existed for many years and many seasons, our entire staff team is experienced and our playerbase has been loyal for just as long. Who are we looking for? We aim to maintain a consistent playerbase 24/7, hoping for around 10-15 players consistently as per previous versions. | Posted: 26 Jul 2021 09:00 PM PDT 📢 - Small community of players who enjoy a long-term play style, without toxicity. The server has been open since March 17, 2020. The current world started May 1, 2021, and will remain until 1.18 releases. Come hang out with us and feel free to build anywhere without those horrendous land claims. No need for those golden shovels! We do have one stipulation that new players can only interact in a 1.16 starting area, and a 1.17 starting area. These areas are very big though, and it only takes 2 hours of gameplay to "graduate" to a normal player. This is only done to weed out most griefers/thiefs. 📢 - The staff is very friendly and everyone is part of the family, whether they are staff or player. We welcome players who love long huge builds, redstone builds, mob farms, and we are perfectly ok with you AFKing, although the server restarts twice per day, every twelve hours. We run on top-notch hardware and utilize 20GB of RAM. We do not use cheap or free hosting. Our server is highly optimized, but unlike most servers, we do not completely break the vanilla mechanics by a limited ticking distance to 3 or 4. Our ticking distance is 7 which allows you to utilize the most popular mob farm types, and you can set your render distance up to 15! 📢 - We have a quick application process that you complete by joining the discord. Our discord server link is https://discord.com/invite/bhWpx6W9YT and Server IP: play.dragonbornserver.comWhen you join the actual game you will end up in a lobby, and you will need to walk through the portal in the "SMP" words to get to the survival world. There will usually never be anyone inside the lobby since our small community primary is focused on survival. 📢 You are allowed to set home to TP too, TP to other players if they approve, keep phantoms away by holding a torch, make a golem stop attacking you by holding a poppy, have 6 rows in your enderchest, create a shop (once you are past 2 hours) and let people drop diamonds into a chest to buy, or use shopkeeper villagers to sell items and many other small tweaks that aren't too extreme!
