A friends list for Java Edition that allows for easier multiplayer Posted: 04 Feb 2019 01:06 PM PST It's crazy how we STILL don't have a way to play with your friends in your own world that doesn't require some external tool, such as Hamachi. And Hamachi sucks. It's unstable and sometimes requires hours to make it work. Relying on the existence of external programs in order to make a vital part of your game work is a terrible idea. Bedrock Edition has Xbox Live. You can just invite people to your world. The PS4 Edition also has something similar. Can't we have a friends list? One that shows when your friends are online and that you can use to invite people to your world? Something like the Xbox Live from Bedrock? [EDIT] Some people are not getting my point. Having to use external programs is exactly the issue. Why can't we just join someone's world, like in Bedrock? [link] [comments] |
Small/Big details I'd like to see get added Posted: 04 Feb 2019 02:56 PM PST Heres some things I think Minecraft has always needed from some ranging to small things like sound to big things like mobs. Keep in mind this is only my ideas on to give Minecraft that more "Survivalist" feel.
3: More wild animals: Minecraft's wilderness lack one thing all the worlds environments have. Animals! Sure there's new mobs being added but I think a small addition could be birds like the parrot that glide overhead when crossing a river or something like that. And going along with the taiga update, and the fact we got 2 of the same animals, It'd also like to see a grizzly bear every now and then that acts like the polar bear, but could have custom animations like the panda but instead of laying on its back, it could scratch it's back on a tree like bears in real life. Red Sand should be able to make Concrete Powder Posted: 03 Feb 2019 07:24 PM PST Title. It always struck me as odd that Red Sand can't be used to craft concrete powder. [link] [comments] |
Missing feature for 1.14: Polished andesite, granite and diorite walls Posted: 04 Feb 2019 01:00 AM PST We already have raw counterpart walld, now we need the polished ones, makes sense? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Feb 2019 01:14 PM PST You know, time you add something to the desert biome. I say camels, since camels have the ability to eat cacti, might as well put a use to cacti other then dye. [link] [comments] |
Torched Concrete/Concrete Powder Posted: 04 Feb 2019 10:52 AM PST Concrete and Concrete Powder that uses red sand in its crafting recipe should look torched. Great for desert builds that could use some concrete, but without the color poping out too much. You could use terracotta, but the is inconsistent and it's too dark anyway. [link] [comments] |
Second, smaller aquatic update. Posted: 03 Feb 2019 09:17 PM PST I imagine a deep ocean update.

Flutes and Snakes: a Charming Duo Posted: 04 Feb 2019 04:07 PM PST Flute -Right-Click to play a tune -Playing near mobs has a chance to 'charm' them -Charmed mobs do not attack the user, for a time -Attacking a mob/player causes currently charmed mobs to also attack -comes in 2 varieties: wooden and bone Wooden Flute: -More effective on passive mobs -plays a lower-pitched sound -Crafted with 2 sticks and a note block Bone Flute: -More effective on hostile/neutral mobs -Plays a higher-pitched sound -Crafted with 2 bones and a note block Charmer: -Wandering Villager -Also found wandering in desert Villages -Frequently plays short tunes -Ignored by hostile mobs -Trades in materials/emeralds for flutes Snakes: -Hostile, but only in attacking range -5 hearts (10 HP) -More easily charmed -Come in Toxic and Non-Toxic varieties -Drop Poison Fangs (if toxic) Fangs: -Can be used for potions -Normal: Poison potion -Reversed: Poison immunity/resistance [link] [comments] |
[Console/PS4] Borderlands 2 Mash-Up Pack Posted: 04 Feb 2019 03:44 PM PST It would be similar to the Fallout texture pack, but have Borderlands's iconic art style mixed in. The Crossbow could be a gun (though 4J studios doesn't really do guns) and chests could be the weapon chests. That's my idea. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Feb 2019 04:20 AM PST Quite simply a potion that enables the player to walk in one block tall spaces. Maybe it can be brewed by adding frogs (if added to the game) to an awkward potion, or some other item that symbolises something small. Redstone can be added for longer effect. What do you all think? Bees, Beehives, Tamable Bears, and Gardening. Posted: 04 Feb 2019 12:45 AM PST

Posted: 04 Feb 2019 02:57 AM PST Add seals to the game. I love seals, they are super cute, so why not add them? They have 20 HP. They spawn in tundra. They are hostile towards players if they have babies(the same as polar bears) . Polar bears should attack them. Maybe they can drop seal fur used to craft a new type of armor or something, or maybe they could drop flippers for brewing a new potion? You can breed them with fish. If you breed them, they will trust you. If they trust you, you can get them a home, and everyday, when you wake up, they will bring you a fish. If you have better idea, say in the comments. Sorry for my bad english [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Feb 2019 04:46 AM PST nautilus are pre-historic mobs, so it would a good idea to have nautilus fossil block; SPAWNING: it spawns below y=12, rare as diamonds, spawn in a group of 1 like emeralds HOW TO OBTAIN: need to use a iron pickaxe to get one nautilus shell from it, fortune enchantment dose not affect it, using silk touch gives us the block instead of the shell (can be used a deco block) it would be great to have more fossil blocks or structures instead of the one we have now, these will be rare aswell) thank you u/_koza for inspiration :) drop your suggestions below [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 10:02 PM PST The End is very empty for now, we can put there a lot but only 1 structure exist for now. 1)End weather: only 5 game days after you killed the Ender Dragon this will sometimes happen, the End sky will change a bit like in The Overworld while raining. The End will contain thunder weather, randomally purple lightnings, not too strong, fight again the Ender Dragon to reset the 5 days timer. 2)Ruined End City: Looks broken, airship on the floor less Shulkers then usall, not too different. 3)Colored End City: the same as the regular End Citys but with colored Shulkers, maybe colored concrete instead of Purpur blocks, more color in The End is required. 4)End Jungle: Rare but if found it'll contain trees, these trees aren't like the regular trees, mined with pickaxe of stone plus and give Churos Fruit, like the plants, however, it can be grown only at The End and on Endstone, not sure about the color, but I have no doubt it's going to get melted inside water, you can use it also to replace flint in arrows crafting. Posted: 03 Feb 2019 11:35 PM PST Allow chests to be crafted into the 16 different colors that a number of other blocks are available in (eg. banners, beds, glass, ect.). This would better enable players to organise their storage, without having to resort to using shulker boxes, which are obviously late-game blocks (and still rather rare to utilise as large-scale storage). Posted: 03 Feb 2019 08:17 PM PST Sloths would be cool Mob to have in the jungle biome, maybe you can get some of their hair using sheers and it'll give you the potion of slowness. For beehives, I think they'll just be a randomly spawning structure, no bees. I feel like it would be cool if you could collect honey and use it in potions. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 04:47 PM PST This would generate in patches on End Stone, but it would be its own block. It should not be edible but used as decoration, also it could be very bouncy. Could be made into a Suspicious Stew that grants levitation. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 04:06 PM PST We can only really dye leather armour, and no one actually uses it. It would be nice to be able to dye iron or diamond armour, or at least have some way to personalize it. It's always a shame having to cover up my skin, since I worked really hard on it, with enchanted diamond armour. It also feels really uniform. Like, everyone looks like you seriously everyone looks the same. We all got the glittering blue helmets, pants, boots and an elytra or chestplate . And there's not much personality left to be seen other than the front of the torso. So either it would be nice to customize our gear a bit which would make it good for team based things, or if we could make our armour invisible, that would be really cool too. I just want to not feel like I'm forced to wear a uniform if I want to survive. [link] [comments] |
