XMC consists of two servers, one of which is running early Minecraft versions, similar to Evo SMP, with the other being vanilla (Spigot). Our vanilla server is running Spigot 1.14.2 with 2 plugins, Dynmap and DiscordMC. Our "early versions" server is on Alpha 1.2.6 as of writing (first version we started with) but updates semi-frequently, we don't really have a set schedule yet. GG is a group of people from all walks of life and around the world who want to enjoy games and chat with other adults. Minecraft is our main game, and we have it on several platforms; Java, Realm for Xbox and a Bedrock server. This post is for our Java server, but if you're interested in the group in general or the other platforms of Minecraft, don't hesitate to leave a comment or a PM. The first End Dragon is dead, but we're holding a dragon-slaying event sometime soon, where we'll spawn multiple dragons and kill them as a group to open up more gateways. Our server aims to take a new spin on the very popular "Anarchy" game-mode. While there are no official rules in this server (except dont hack, of course), you are free to do whatever you wish. The map is brand new as of 5/30 whereas a few of us have only been playing to setup spawn and begin the initial community. We have a town hall setup already with a public enchanting table and the begging of our nether hub. The End hasn't been traveled to as of 6/5. We enjoy the use of plugins to expand the vanilla experience a bit, but not to take away from the survival adventure as well as to protect and manage the server. Content creators welcome where additional plugins are available for spectator like tools. About us Admins: We are a few older folks who enjoy the Minecraft experience with others, but struggled to find a stable, well rounded server for us to enjoy. We've administered past servers where we prefer to play as is and only use the "Admin" perks for bugs, griefers, and maintenance. We do not run a server based on a "pay-to-play" structure. About the Server: The server is hosted in the US, currently equipped with 6 gigs (adaptable) and overclocked premium hardware. During our first week, we worked out the known bugs and currently enjoy a very smooth experience. | This Old Craft [VANILLA][PVE]{1.14+}{SNAPSHOTS} Posted: 06 Jun 2019 01:15 PM PDT Forgot to put this in the TITLE ... {WHITELIST} This Old Craft is a new vanilla server (created today 6/6/19). We're not running any modded jars. We do experiment with datapacks though. We're currently set for 10 people, but I imagine we will be able to double that once I see how the server hardware handles it. It is survival only (no creative mode). I am fairly old and sometimes I get a little cranky, but I enjoy playing Minecraft. I am in no way a Minecraft expert. I have not even gotten to the end yet. I mostly explore and build small structures, etc. I've been running my own servers for a few years now (off and on). Some were public and some private. If you look at my post history you can see the names the previous servers had. I am not looking to get rich off of this. I will never ask anyone for money or donations. The website still needs to be set up. I am not really sure what I will do with it, but there is a site. As for age ranges, I am not really sure how I could possibly enforce that. So please be respectful. My kids play on my minecraft servers, their friends play, and my friends play. I will not tolerate any vulgarity (either by typing, harassing, or building obscene things). If you break any of the rules you will be banned. I am too old to deal with immature people that cannot respect other people's hard work. Other than that I think the server will be a pretty mellow place to hang out, explore, & build.
