Discs should override the typical gameplay music Posted: 21 Jul 2019 06:29 AM PDT If a player is within radius of a music disc, the songs that play normally should stop so that two songs aren't playing at once. [link] [comments] |
Cobwebs shouldn’t make the same sounds as stone when broken Posted: 21 Jul 2019 03:38 AM PDT Currently, cobwebs make the same sound effect stone does when they are broken or placed. This doesn't really make any sense, and since cobwebs are usually found when mining it makes the noise of breaking stone even more repetitive. How about a sound more similar to slime? Furthermore, redstone dust also makes the same noise as stone when broken/placed. Seeing as it is dust, it should make a noise similar to sand. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 06:03 AM PDT Pillagers should have an drop rate of 0-2 arrows, in addition to the normal drop rates for crossbows and banners. Players have to deal with pillagers so often that it just makes sense for them to drop arrows. Otherwise, what's the point of them appearing so often if banners and the infrequent crossbow are all we get? [link] [comments] |
Zombie Pigmen should be able to spawn with gold armor Posted: 20 Jul 2019 10:00 PM PDT |
Villagers that try to sleep in beds in the end or nether should blow up too Posted: 21 Jul 2019 05:34 AM PDT |
6 bamboo can be made into 1 paper Posted: 21 Jul 2019 09:31 AM PDT This gives them another used but does not nullify sugar cane. [link] [comments] |
Netherack should be able to hold fire on the sides and bottom instead of just the top Posted: 21 Jul 2019 10:53 AM PDT |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:58 AM PDT If a player gets hit by an arrow they have the arrow sticking out of them, what if the same were to be with cacti, and when you get hurt by a cacti it shows a small spike sticking out of you for Everytime you take damage, this would have no real practical use, but would be a cool detailed feature [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 11:52 AM PDT As we know, in real life birds don't give birth. In minecraft neither should they. Birds lay eggs instead of birth giving and eggs take time to hatch [link] [comments] |
Tnt minecarts should generate in mineshafts Posted: 21 Jul 2019 05:42 AM PDT mineshafts should have tnt minecarts that were used for mining. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 12:04 PM PDT I really think Minecraft needs some new discs. It's been a long time since we got some new discs and it is about time. At least 5 New Discs to search for is all I'd want. Note Blocks have picked up new sounds over the past couple years, maybe utilize some new instruments in these discs, like Banjos and Bells! Posted: 21 Jul 2019 09:31 AM PDT Currently, parrots are already pretty awesome mobs. They aren't perfect though. Here are some things that need to be changed: -A different way of dropping them. It's very hard to transport parrots because they jump off when you fall more than 0.5 blocks. What I'd do is change it so they only jump off when you jump while holding Shift. -A "wandering" setting. Currently, tamed parrots can either sit down or follow you around. This is cool, but not if you want to have them in an aviary. It would be good if you could also enable a "wandering" setting similar to Ark Survival Evolved so they can fly around freely when they are tamed without teleporting to you. -More variations. Currently, we have cockatiels (grey), Military macaws (green), Hyacinth macaws (blue), Blue and gold macaws (light blue) and Scarlet macaws (red). This is already a great selection of birds, but there are so many more parrots which would look great with the in-game parrot model. Some ideas for new parrots are cockatoos, African grey parrots or Sun conures. -Breeding. Breeding parrots would be a great way to expand the amount of birds in your aviary without having to travel all the way to a jungle biome to get more parrots. It would work by giving 2 parrots from the same species seeds. I would also add the posibility to cross breed the Blue gold macaw and the Scarlet macaw to get a Harlequin macaw. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 11:50 AM PDT Part 1: Crafting. Parrots Perches Would Be Crafted By Putting Three Planks On The Far Left (Or Right) With Three Sticks On The Top. Part 2: Use And Personality. Parrots Would Have 2 Different Personalities For Each Blocks, Fiesty And Happy. Happy Ones Would Go In The Perich And Cage Happily And Would Be Passive. Fiesty Ones Would Be Rarer And Would Refuse To Go On Perches And Would Only Go In Cages. Cages Would Be Crafted With 3 Bars On The Top And The Bottom With Bars Inbetween Them. Fiesty Parrots Would Be Neutral And Would Peck Anything That Attacked Them. This Would Do One And A Half Hearts Of Damage. Part 3: Feedback And Additions. No Info Due To New Post [link] [comments] |
Extreme weather causes extra exhaustion. Posted: 21 Jul 2019 06:32 AM PDT Sure deserts have no trees or plant life but theyre bordered by savannas most of the time, and snowy biomes have bears and water freezes over, but I feel desert and snowy biomes don't feel hard enough to survive in. I'm not suggesting Minecraft gets given a super in depth temperature system, I just think it would be cool if your hunger went down quicker from sprinting etc. in deserts and cold biomes but also lose it passively in cold biomes (warming up). It would have no penalty in easy, 2x speed in normal, and 3x speed in hard, with armour increasing it in deserts and decreasing it in snowy places. What do you guys think? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 08:55 AM PDT They are snow biome variants of the Silverfish, found mostly around water, under the ice. Icefish are dangerous, as they attack like crazy, similar to piranhas, but a cold version instead. [link] [comments] |
Buy profession hat from trade locked diamond badge villagers Posted: 21 Jul 2019 04:16 PM PDT Nothing useful, but a fun reward for maxing out a single villagers trades. When they have nothing new to offer, their last trade could be the hat of that profession. For example, trade enough with a farmer that you lock all available offers, get the straw hat. Now, the cleric doesn't have a hat, but perhaps they could offer the Witch hat. I figure it would be a novel way of tracking progression like "I've maxed out this many villagers", would give something more for completionists to get their hands on, some fun non-armor options for armor stands, but for the sake of the novelty they should provide absolutely no benefit to wearing, except looking good in a piece that extends past the headgear layer on skins. At the very most, if they ever did have a use, it would be a slight discount with traders of that particular profession. Edit: Some might have an additional useless function, like armorsmith welding masks moving down when crouching or crafting (as if the player is 'using' it) but this is not essential to the idea and can easily be left out. Posted: 21 Jul 2019 01:19 PM PDT The MC team has been on the record to say that they don't want any realistic sharks, but why not go for a long dead relative of the sharks? Helicoprion are fun because there are two distinct ways you could go with them:
As for the stats, I'd give them 10 - 20 hearts of health and also make them neutral at day and hostile at night or in the Deep Sea. Dolphins would attack them if they see them attacking you, which is a reference to the fact that Dolphins have been known to assist humans and other animals in distress. As for drops, I would have them drop fish (What type depends on the area), rotten flesh and/or something called the "Saw-Tongue", which would allow you to make some kind of saw-staff weapon and could also be used in enchantment. The Helicoprion would have three attacks: Bite, saw and wip. The bite attack would deal three hearts of damage, wip would do 2-4 depending on the distance, and sawing would involve it grabbing you and sawing you until you either die or escape. The damage would depend on how long it grabs you dor ans how well armored you are, with leather armor, elytras and turtle shells being ripped to shreds, unenchanted gold and chainmail being "Meh" against it, iron being resistant to it and diamond (As well as enchanted iron and gold) being almost entirely immune to it. As for prey, they would hunt all mobs that have entered its range, up to and including stranded land mobs and monsters. They would, however, be afraid of Guardians, Elder Guardians and Withers (Possibly unless their health has been significantly lowered). By default, they would go after the nearest mob with the lowest amount of health unless there is no other target. [link] [comments] |
Defeating the Ender Dragon should brighten up the End. Posted: 21 Jul 2019 04:02 PM PDT So when Notch was designing the End, he supposedly was originally going for something akin to the Aether, but decided on what we got down the road. What if, as a small nod to that, defeating the Ender Dragon slowly turned the sky from the pitch black it is to a brighter sky. You'd still die to the Void, but it would look more like a pretty chain of sky islands and less like a soulless doomscape. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 06:11 AM PDT I think anvil should be able to enchant weapons of the same class. To do this, you would take an item of the same class, I.E. Gold Pickaxe, lets say, enchanted with efficiency 5 and unbreaking 5 and a Diamond pickaxe with, maybe, silk touch. You'd put the Diamond pickaxe first, and then the Gold pickaxe, giving you a Diamond pickaxe with silk touch, efficiency 5, and unbreaking 5. This would cost xp, and would give Gold items a real use because they enchant better than any other tool and armor set, and Gold tools have needed a use for awhile (Vote for it here: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360048205712-Anvils-can-cross-enchant ) [link] [comments] |
Nautilus Shells can be placed like a block. Posted: 21 Jul 2019 09:17 AM PDT I think it would be used as a great decoration to put in your Minecraft house. [link] [comments] |
Netherbrick Overhaul! Loam, Terrorcotta, Blazed Terrorcotta, Nether Pots and More! Posted: 21 Jul 2019 06:00 AM PDT LOAM AND TERRORCOTTA - Loam is found near the edges and on the bottom of Lava oceans. When broken, it drops 3-4 Loam Chunks. Loam Chunks are impervious to lava and fire, so don't worry about losing them! - Making Netherbricks is now different. Instead of smelting Netherrack, you smelt Loam Chunks. - Terrorcotta is made by smelting Loam. It can also be found in veins at the bottom of the Lava Oceans(the intense heat naturally cooks the Loam). - Blazed Terrorcotta is made by smelting Terrorcotta. It acts as the reverse of Glazed Terracotta; it can be pulled by pistons but not pushed. It has an eye-like pattern, hinting to the Eye of Ender. NETHERBRICKS - Cracked Netherbricks are found randomly in Nether Fortresses. They can be made by smelting Netherbricks. If you want to make a Nether build look ruined or abandoned, this is the block for you. - Chiseled Netherbricks are found in certain rooms in Nether Fortresses. They can be made by crafting two Netherbrick Slabs together. Their Blaze-face pattern makes them a unique focal point for Nether-based builds. - Netherbrick Pillars are found in certain rooms in Nether Fortresses. They can be made by crafting two Netherbrick Blocks together. They contrast Quartz Pillars by being very dark instead of very light. - Nether Pots are found in certain rooms in Nether Fortresses. They can be made by crafting three Netherbicks together. Nether Pots can hold Netherwart, Red Mushrooms, Brown Mushrooms, and Dead Bushes. IMAGES![link] [comments] |

Posted: 21 Jul 2019 10:48 AM PDT Just how apples have regular, golden and enchanted variants, I think carrots should aswell, as it seems odd how it has the first 2 variants but not the enchanted one. Enchanted carrots / enchanted golden carrots would give you night vision, jump boost and swiftness upon consumption and would refill 3 hunger points. [link] [comments] |
Tamed wolves should be able to locate fossils when you feed them bones. Posted: 21 Jul 2019 03:22 AM PDT Dogs are able to smell better than humans in real life so what if they can locate nearby fossils when you feed them bones similar to dolphins,I think fossils will be easier to find using this way. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 21 Jul 2019 02:01 PM PDT -I think pets should have a wandering mode. It would be nice to just keep my pet home playing and wandering around like a real dog while I'm out on a dangerous adventure. [link] [comments] |
