Cave Fish (A Very Detailed Post)

    Cave Fish

    *Health Points - 3

    *Behaviour - Passive

    *Size - Height - 0.4 blocks Width - 0.5 blocks

*Spawn - spawns below layer y = 63 under every (land) biomes except for Ocean Biomes and River Biomes in groups of 2-3 in the Overworld at a light level of 3 or less in water blocks in underground water pools and lakes.

    *Drops - 1-2 bones (25% chance) 1 bonemeals (5% chance) 1 cave fish (item) 1-3 xp orbs

*Behaviour: Cave Fishes spawn in underground water pools and lakes. The player may collect a cave fish using a water bucket on it. Cave Fishes placed with buckets do not despawn naturally. When that cave fish bucket is used against a block, it empties the bucket, placing water with that cave fish swimming in it. Cave fish cannot survive out of water. Outside of water, they flop around like guardians for a while until eventually they suffocate and die like squids. Cave fish cannot swim or breathe in cauldron water. They also have weakness to weapons that have Impaling Enchantment. Unlike other fishes however, if brought in a place above layer 63 with light level above 3, they'll slowly die. They will not die if brought to a place above layer 63 with light level 3 and below. Cave Fish Item will replace every fish that can be obtained through fishing rods when fishing underground (this could be possible with the implementation of biome information stored vertically).

*Characteristics: Small, Pale Pinkish White, Eyeless, A blockier version of this photo

*Sounds: Cave Fish Flops, Hurt, Death

*Purpose: An easy, and safer (than rotten flesh) emergency food source for caves which will be very useful for Miners and New Players who get trapped and lost in caves all the time. They could also be an interesting mob which would add life to caves and empty underground water pools and lakes. They would also replace every fish that can be caught underground using fishing rods as it doesn't make sense for players to be able to catch fishes (such as salmon) underground, (this wasn't possible in the previous versions but with the implementation of Vertical biomes, this could be possible now).

*Approved Feedback Site: click this blue text and upvote for the feedback suggestion post if you want to see it ingame! (I didn't make this Feedback post and I will not be able to make another post of mine about Cave Fishes as it will get removed for being too similar to this Feedback post).

Thanks for reading my suggestion, I wish you a Great and Fishy Cave-tastic Day!

Background music shuts off when a music disc is being played

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 06:35 AM PDT

I cannot tell you how many times I've had this problem. I want to play a music disc but I can't hear it over the regular Minecraft background music. I play Bedrock Edition so I don't know if it's an issue in Java but either way it needs to be fixed.

Having the luck effect applied will make all eggs thrown have a 100% chance to spawn a chicken along with other perks

    Posted: 07 Jul 2020 08:40 PM PDT

This could also work in application to villager spawning so that no villagers will be nitwits. I just felt that the luck effect doesn't have that much of a use as of right now disregarding the fact that it gives better loot, and it could have another use. Any other suggestions, comments, and feedback is appreciated

You can wear a bucket as a hat.

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 02:44 AM PDT

Just a fun little idea I've toyed with. Putting a bucket on your head would give the same protection as a chain helmet, except it would also block the top half of your vision (using a similar effect as pumpkins) since the bucket covers your eyes. Just a fun little way to Armour yourself in an absolute emergency.

    Hot chocolate (pls read)

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 09:31 AM PDT

Hot chocolate should be a drink which has really cool abilities. My idea is that you would craft it with 1 sugar, 3 cocoa beans, 1 milk bucket and you would get a "chocolate mixture". With this you would put it in the furnace or campfire and it would heat up to make hot chocolate. Hot chocolate would have 2 uses: •you can feed it to striders too make them move faster and not get cold on land. •you can drink it yourself too restore 1.5/10 of your hunger bar and it would give you the ability to not have phantoms following you for one day if you stayed awake longer then 3 days, it would also give you a slight buff which would lower the rate you loose hunger by 33% for that night. Idk i think it would be cool too sit down by a campfire and drink hot chocolate while on the quest too defeat the dragon or find a woodland mansion (:

The recipe book should show cobblestone variants by default.

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 09:23 AM PDT

I've recently had some of my friends get into Minecraft. As of the 1.16 update the recipe book shows that you need blackstone to craft a furnace. Multiple people have now asked me "where can I get blackstone? I want to cook my food" This makes learning the game more confusing for them when I have to explain that that isn't the best way to craft a furnace.

    Inventory's For All Mounts

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 07:53 AM PDT

Horses, donkeys and mules all have inventories so we can take off or put on their saddles and armors but pigs and striders don't so if we wan't to take the saddles off we are forced to kill them. It works pretty much the same as the existing mount inventory, you put the saddle on the same way as before but you can Shift + Right-Click or open inventory while riding them to access it.

Baby villagers may gift you emeralds in exchange for sweets

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 11:35 AM PDT

Baby villagers should have a chance of gifting you an emerald if you give them sweets.

As they are babies, they do not really understand economy, so if you give them something they like, maybe they'll give you an emerald in exchange.

This would work just like piglin bartering, either right click with the item or throw it on the ground, then the villager picks it up and nods its head at you as a thank you sign and either throws an emerald back at you or just does nothing. And because baby villagers grow up over time, you can't really abuse this mechanic for long. I'd say they have a 3 emerald limit per day, getting you a maximum of around 9 emeralds before they grow up. (This would prevent piglin-like trading halls happening to get easy emeralds)

If villagers see this, your popularity may increase a little bit every time.

Some "sweets" would be: -Sugar -Cookies -Honey bottle -Sweet berries -Pumpkin pie -Cake (Pies and cakes may have a bigger chance of getting you an emerald, as they are bigger and more expensive)

Add a "digital" setting for the HUD to display things in precise decimal form

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 01:18 PM PDT

The digital setting for the HUD will make everything displayed in more precise numbers. Health will naturally be at 10.00, for example in full diamond armor, a cactus takes less than half a heart, but with this option on you will see the health go down by the decimals. Same goes for Hunger and XP.

Also, with the additional space that you have by making it a number instead of a bar, you can also see the combined durability of all your armor, and the combined loss. For example if all four pieces have 500 durability but are half worn out, your HUD says 1,000/2,000

The text for health is red, hunger is a bright brown, XP is green, water bubbles are blue, armor rating is a grey, and armor durability is gold. If you hold arrows on your offhand, there's some text to the upper-middle left of the screen to count arrows too.

This option isn't for everyone, but could be useful for more competitive players, or for people who work better with seeing a number than seeing a representation of a number.

The Piglin Brute can drop its armband

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 02:02 PM PDT

Right now the new Piglin Brute has no use except to make the Piglin Bastions even harder. They don't drop anything useful and you can't stop them from attacking you. I think that there should be a small chance that the Brute can drop the golden armband it's wearing(about as rare as the trident). You can put the armband in your offhand slot and it would stop Piglins(and maybe even the brute?) from attacking you. You can already prevent this from wearing a piece of golden armor but this allows you to keep all your protection points but still have peace with the Piglins. If you have any tweaks I'd love to hear them!

Ps. I'm not sure if I put the right flair

    Illiger labs

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 12:57 PM PDT

Illiger labs have a chance to spawn in abanded villages. They will be about as big as a pillager outpost. However they will be made out of stone and mostly underground.

You will find one evoker, two vindicators, a variety of undead mobs, and two pillagers or one ravager.

Their will be two chests both filled with magic items of the highest degree. One chest will possibly have a log detailing something called an abomination. It will be light by lanterns and have enchanting tables in it.

In some cases the lab will be destroyed and only the undead will remain. You will find an abomination wandering the lab. These are very varied and most likely will look something like a large fleshy iron golem of sorts but not always.

When a wandering trader drinks an invisibility potion, it should drop and empty bottle.

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 01:30 PM PDT

This would make sense, and indicate if a wandering trader has been near you within the last 5 minutes. (It would not be able to be abused as a bottle farm as wandering traders despawn after an hour)

    Sticky piston with honey

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 01:10 AM PDT

Sticky piston with honey works the same way as the regular sticky piston. The only difference is the crafting recipe and the texture.

Crafting: honey bottle above piston Texture: the same as sticky but instead of green slime, there is yellow honey.

It would be useful for peaceful players, where getting slime is incredibly tedious.

Ores and mobs should be more reliant on biomes

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 10:02 AM PDT

maybe deserts could spawn (slightly) more diamonds underground, and mountains could spawn more iron. like how badlands spawn more gold, ya know? also: ores become more common the further you venture out away from spawn. idk i just think the game's main progression doesn't involve exploration and adventure as much as it should. infinite worlds are an amazing thing but it sort of feels more like a side quest to go off and explore.

    Hoglin repellent

    Posted: 08 Jul 2020 12:52 PM PDT

This is a simple idea. I was thinking to have hoglin repellent work like this: you make it in a brewing station like a regular potion but use a warped fungus as the ingredient. It would have the same properties as placing a warped fungus and be made and improved the same way options are

    Underground Village

    Posted: 07 Jul 2020 04:05 PM PDT

So I'm not 100 percent sure how this would work but random spawning at the same rate as strongholds but a little more rare.

They would be smallish 5-10 houses and almost everything would be made of stone like wood is rare because they live so far underground. Most buildings would be 2 or even 3 stories tall exept for storage houses that would be 1 story and full of chests.

The mobs there would be a type of villager who would be hostile towards the player unless the player wasn't wearing any armour kind of opposite of the piglins. They would have 20 hearts and could deal large amounts of damage. They would sleep in the day because their schedule is all messed up because they have no sun. They would also be able to open iron doors and trapdoors and everything so they can get into anywhere they want. They would also have iron tools and armour, and have a low chance of diamond tools and armour. The villagers would be called dwellers and have darker skin because there so dirty from living underground. The dwellers also wouldn't just ly down and let the player take the stuff from there chests they would fight back similar to piglins.

The caves would also have a small pen with just cows and a pond, the only vegetation would be vines and mushrooms and soup would be the main source of food for the dwellers.

Sorry if anyone else has had this idea then I'm sorry i was just thinking.
