Honestly there should be a way to get the old Minecraft Steve Skin. Posted: 04 Jul 2019 04:35 AM PDT Ok hear me out, i know some people hate the old minecraft skin (the one that is smiling) but i love it and some people too, so, i think there should be a way to get it normaly honestly. (i know you can just go to the gallery and take a skin, but im talking about the bedrock edition which is very limited) PS: YES I SAY HE IS SMILING THIS IS NOT A BEARD IF YOU SEE A BEARD YOU'RE A SON OF A CHICKEN. Traces of cave people in snowy tundras Posted: 04 Jul 2019 06:35 AM PDT These are traces from the ancient world, just like the shipwrecks. In snowy tundras, on rare occasions you'd find holes in hills and mountains, small caves. Inside of them would be an unlit campfire, a few brown carpets resembling sleeping places and a barrel with raw fish, bones, stone tools, leather armor and fishing rods (items may be enchanted). Now, one of the tools in the barrel should have slightly better enchantments, the pickaxe. Because what do you use when living in snowy biomes for climbing, breaking ice, etc? Well, the pickaxe. So, as some have suggested, some of these camps would generate in ice caves, which are like normal caves but completly covered with packed ice. [link] [comments] |
Using Wheat as a Firework ingredient creates a "smoky" explosion Posted: 04 Jul 2019 01:25 AM PDT Great for when you want to use a fire work as a signal flare, but need daytime visibility [link] [comments] |
Posted: 03 Jul 2019 06:34 PM PDT I feel like the compostors are currently kind of underpowered, as it costs so many items for one bone meal, an item that you can usually get multiple of by just killing one skeleton. I believe that you should get experience orbs along with your bone meal, maybe just about 1-5 orbs. I just wish I had a better way to spend my excess food. [link] [comments] |
Vertical Entrance To Abandoned Mineshafts Posted: 04 Jul 2019 03:05 PM PDT These would be pretty rare and only spawn in areas of Extreme Hills Biomes covered in stone. They would have a ladder and lead down to a platform with shafts branching out from the platform. [link] [comments] |
New Mob (can’t think of a name) Posted: 04 Jul 2019 10:56 AM PDT They should spawn in the skies of the End Outer Islands. They would fly around and have the same animation as a Squid. I think they would look similar to jellyfish, but their bodies would be coloured black, their tentacles would be coloured teal, and they would have an eye (that looks like an Eye of Ender) on the middle of their bodies. They would spawn in swarms of 5-10. They would be passive, but if you get too close you will be dealt half a heart of damage and get teleported. They would have a rare chance of dropping an Eye of Ender when they die (the same rarity as a Rabbit dropping a Rabbit's Foot). This mob would give life to the barren skies of the End Dimension. You can help me figure out a name by telling me in the comments. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Jul 2019 01:58 PM PDT I think that small beds should be added for all of our cats, dogs, and foxes.

Posted: 04 Jul 2019 11:09 AM PDT There should be a fading animation for when you go through a portal. This animation would apply to entities and player models. For a nether portal, you should fade more slowly, turning transparent purple and disappearing, then fade into existence on the other end. When you go through an end portal, it should be much faster, since it is a fast acting portal (unlike the nether portal), and fade into a transparent black and disappear, then fade in on the other end. There should also be a fading transition for command teleports. Players should be able to choose their teleport color in profile settings, so when they use commands to teleport on a server, they should be able to fade with the color of their choosing. When you use commands to teleport, you should be able to see your color fading on/off in first person view. Since particle effects can be laggy, I just thought it would be good to fade in/out with color. What do you think? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Jul 2019 10:02 AM PDT The change made to cats recently got me thinking about the fact that we have borderline domestic pigs, cows, sheep and chickens roaming around the world. Here are some ideas on how to alter that. These four animals would all naturally spawn within fifteen blocks of villages already domesticated the way we are familiar with them. One small change would be that pigs would have two to three piglets upon breeding. In the wild however, they'd be harder to find all together. Wild cows, known as Aurochs, would spawn in swamps and tundra. They would be a neutral mob, but as such would try to attack you if you hit them. Aurochs would have more of a shaggy coat appearance and might be a bit larger than a cow. Boars would be the wild counterpart to the pig, and would spawn in forests, taigas and deserts. Once again, neutral mob but it is more like a polar bear in that getting near it's young will make them hostile. Bighorns would be the sheep counterpart, found in hills and extreme hills biomes. The wool would be a bit dirtier, and curled horns around the head would visible. They too, would be neutral. Lastly, Junglefowl would replace chickens with a more natural color scheme (Look up junglefowl to see for yourself) and would be found in jungles, jungle edges and bamboo jungles. The idea would be that giving each of these animals the corresponding food for taming would allow the player to turn the mob into the normal variant. Some of the wild variants would have some bonuses, like aurochs dropping more leather and boars even dropping some rarely, but the idea would be more geared at making players domesticate wild animals for farming or finding a village that already has some. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. [link] [comments] |
Every 10 waves of phantoms there is a chance to get a bigger phantom Posted: 04 Jul 2019 07:29 AM PDT So , there is a tag to change the size of phantoms , like with the slimes, so why dont use that in the game for survival? So i think that could be cool that if you dont sleep , and get phantoms and the 10 wave , there is a chance maybe a 10 % of getting a bigger phantom , maybe a 20 % the size of the others , and could have more health (maybe 30 % more) , a little bit more of damage , maybe 5 - 10% more , than normal phantoms , and maybe , every 10 waves it get bigger until a certain size , but he is slower due to his size The drops could be , more XP , and a chance to get more phantom membrain [link] [comments] |
Lonely Campfires in Dark Forests Posted: 04 Jul 2019 04:20 PM PDT Roof forests are dense and spooky, it's so dark that hostile mobs can spawn in the daylight. My idea is that lit campfires could spawn with 1-6 zombies around it, depending on difficulty. Maybe a party of adventurers set camp while traversing the woods in search of the Mansion, but in daytime they got attacked and converted, as they stood near the flame and didn't notice the zombies creeping up to them! It's just a mystery, that the player will never solve. I don't think it should have any loot, but maybe zombies would be equipped with some colored/plain leather armour or better equipment sometimes, like tools, fishing rods, a piece of food? Like they were recently turned into zombies, even the campfire is still burning (i know it doesn't end burning but that creates the mood I'm going for). It could be in other biomes, if any of you have a biome to suggest, feel free to do so. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 04 Jul 2019 01:12 PM PDT As we all know, the basic crops such as wheat, potato, carrots and beetroot grow in Villager farms, but what if there were more crops to harvest? More roles for Villagers too? Perhaps there should be a rare chance of a large crop farm to spawn in bigger villages containing stuff such as corn, rice, yams or tomato being farmed by higher level Villager farmers? Dolphins grace should give you the same vertical speed as horizontal Posted: 03 Jul 2019 09:21 PM PDT |
Posted: 04 Jul 2019 06:22 AM PDT Does any one think it is a bit annoying that you have to click to place every single block? Well turbo building is the solution. If you have a block in your main hand and hold right mouse button the game will register 10 clicks per second, allowing you to place up to 10 blocks per second with next to no effort. There's a chance this could mess up your builds because of lack of precision so this would be a togglable mechanic set to off by default. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Jul 2019 11:31 AM PDT Ok, so you know how charged creepers become charged creepers when they are struck by lightning, that's pretty rare. So, to take control of nature itself you can make a jar, these could also just be placeable glass bottles. So after crafting this jar, place it at a certain height, place an iron bar on top of it, during a lightning storm. After the storm is over there is a 1/15 chance that the jar has caught lightning. You can use this jar of lightning as a weapon, or to create a charged creeper. Or it could be simply used as decoration, or emergency explosion. When placed, this jar of lightning can not be picked up and replaced. When a player attempts to break this jar of lightning, to pick it up, either an explosion, or lightning strike occurs at that spot, this explosion or lightning strike is akind to a charged creeper's explosion! Thank you for reading my somewhat long explanation of a somewhat simple thing. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Jul 2019 03:10 PM PDT I went thousands of blocks out from spawn and could barely find any vilages. I feel that since 1.14 added all these great new village features I should be able to find more villages or atleast find them closer to spawn. [link] [comments] |
Giving underrated mobs use in farming. Posted: 03 Jul 2019 08:25 PM PDT Pigs and rabbits are currently a useless mob to farm. Just have cows. They give steak which is just as good as pork chops and they drop leather making both mobs obsolete. So maybe make it so breeding pigs or rabbits they could have the possibility of 2 or 3 young so there would be an advantage to farm them. [link] [comments] |
Nether Shell (Name up for debate) Posted: 04 Jul 2019 02:35 PM PDT The turtle shell is a great item for water exploration, however the turtle shell could have an upgrade. With 2 Magma Slime Balls, 2 Ghast Tears, 2 Blaze Rods, 1 nether quartz, 1 Nether Star, and the Turtle shell, you will have crafted the "Nether Shell." The Nether Shell gives the wearer 10 seconds of fire resistance as well as the water breathing. In my opinion the inclusion of the nether star makes it well within the realm of reason. This would be pretty much a permanent Fire Resistance potion for the price of two relatively high brow items (Nether Star and Turtle Shell.) The Nether Shell's durability would be equal to the Turtle Shell's. If it was to be repaired sans mending one would use their valuable quartz. If there are any suggestions for this, please comment. You should be able to choose which offline skin you have. Posted: 04 Jul 2019 10:49 AM PDT Like the title says, you should be able to choose Steve or Alex for your offline skin. Mojang should add a gender option in the profile settings (male, female, other), to determine which offline skin you get. If you choose other, it would randomize between Steve or Alex. Based on what option you pick, that will be your offline skin. I'm a little embarrassed that my offline skin is Alex, since I'm a male. This feature would be perfect for people in my situation. Tell me what you think! [link] [comments] |
Pandas should eat other food rather Bamboo or Cake. Posted: 04 Jul 2019 02:24 PM PDT According to Wikipedia, "Giant pandas in the wild will occasionally eat other grasses, wild tubers, or even meat in the form of birds, rodents, or carrion. In captivity, they may receive honey, eggs, fish, yams, shrub leaves, oranges, or bananas along with specially prepared food." So why not you can feed them Eggs, Fish, Leaves and Grass as well as Bamboo and Cake. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Jul 2019 02:16 PM PDT They look more like watermelons than any other type of melon so please rename. [link] [comments] |
