All mobs except the undead take shelter from the rain Posted: 27 Aug 2019 03:17 AM PDT This is more of a specific thing that irks me. I made my cows/sheep a barn to live in with a connected field that's fenced in for them to graze in during the day. What do they do at night or when it's raining? They continue milling about bleating and mooing like nothing's wrong. I've actually had two cows be struck by lightning before. All I'd like is for them to maybe find a cave or some trees to hide/sleep under during the rain and night. Hostile mobs like Creepers and Spiders are obviously nocturnal, but I refuse to believe they enjoy being out in the rain enough to wander about in it. I imagine the undead don't really care too much or just don't have any feeling left. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 27 Aug 2019 07:27 AM PDT Planting a sapling on sand in a desert or mesa biome will dry out the plant and turn it into a dead bush. [link] [comments] |
Let baby villagers have really bad trades Posted: 27 Aug 2019 02:24 PM PDT This is not something that will improve the gameplay but will be a nice and funny detail. Baby villagers could have really stupid trades in which they ask for a really big amount of emeralds for something totally not worth the price (for example 20 emeralds for 3 sticks) This feature could also have a good side to it. Maybe when that villager grows up he offers you a discount for all of his trades because you helped him as a child? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 09:18 AM PDT mojang has stated before how much they wanted to add seasons, and they do have biomes that represent summer, spring, and winter. but they haven't represented fall in any way, so what if they changed the biome color of birch forests to allow this to happen? image here . my example might not be the best but i hope its a good idea [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 06:29 AM PDT There should be torches that you can make out of bones in case you are out of torches in a cave [link] [comments] |
Pillager refugees- Pillagers who have changed their minds, and have joined the villagers. Posted: 27 Aug 2019 01:26 PM PDT These mobs would protect the village alongside Iron golems, or simply live amongst the villagers. Protectors will wear similar clothing to their evil counterparts, but instead have emerald "armor" as a contrast to make sure the player knows who they are. Simple refugees will get jobs and wear the same clothes as the others. Pillagers will not attack these ones until they attack them. Pillager refugees will only spawn after a raid when it is left alone for a certain period of time without being killed. If there are any left, a knew pillager refugee will hunt alongside you to end the raid, and will not attack if you attack them. Only once they are welcomed will they attack if you do. Posted: 27 Aug 2019 09:06 AM PDT The name says everything about it, it's just prismarine in smooth which would be made like smooth stone or smooth quarz. Furnace plus Prismarine, boom smooth prismarine. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 06:20 AM PDT What makes it a good Demo-Villager? Work Station: None. Consider it as a Nitwit who took the more "explosive" type of path. So this villager restocks on schedule, automatically.

Posted: 27 Aug 2019 02:39 AM PDT And you would be able to cure them with splash poison of weakness and enchanted golden apple just like you can cure ordinary zombie villagers. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 09:21 AM PDT You can find shipwrecks but there are no ships on the ocean so i suggest this. Ships spawn on the ocean, there are two types of ships, Villiger ships and Pilliger ships. Villiger ships are filled with barrels they can contain: leather and iron armor, emeralds, iron ingots, fish, gunpowder and string. up to 3 crew members + captain can spawn on the ship, the crew members will trade emeralds for food and the captain wont trade with you, stealing from the ship. killing the captain of the ship will cause the crewmembers to attack the player doing 4 hearts on easy 5 on medium and 6.5 on hard Pilliger ships have up to 3 crew members and a captain, the pilligers wont attack you on sight they will slowly approach you and rob you they will take: iron, gunpowder, string, gold, emerald. after they took your items they will attack you. killing the captain will give you back the items he stole and some other goodies but it will also trigger the bad omen effect, there can be found tnt and barrels filled with: leather and iron armor, emeralds, iron ingots, fish, gunpowder, tnt, wood, potatoes. the crewmembers attack do 5 hearts on easy 6.5 on medium and 7.5 on hard Im dont know if someone else already suggested it but if yes... sorry [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 08:09 AM PDT Reflect - it reflects arrows, fireballs and witherskulls back at the dorection you are faceing Thorns for shields - it works like thorns but only when you have your shield readyed and for shields and not armor Shock Resist - makes it so axes cant stagger this shield but can damage half of the axes damage onto the player and also damage the shield also making it so when you ready your shield you will move slower [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 01:09 PM PDT When you are in any inventory, when you press the swap hands button on an item, it should swap the current item with off hand one [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 07:09 AM PDT This block, when placed between two blocks, will take the form of half of those blocks, but appear as a smooth transition from one block to the other. Example. Cobble stone to the left, transition block in the middle, dirt to the right. The transition block would look half dirt, half cobblestone, with some sort of fade between them. It doesnt have to be a gradient, but something nicer looking that just the two blocks sitting side by side. [link] [comments] |
Effects with a radius rather than a timer should show it Posted: 27 Aug 2019 11:06 AM PDT Effects such as Beacons, Hero of the Village and Conduit Power should have a counter showing the distance away from the edge of the area of effect, instead of the glitchy looking timer It should be more like Conduit Power : 18blocks rather than constantly jumping from 12 to 13 [link] [comments] |
cows should sit down before it rains Posted: 27 Aug 2019 02:14 PM PDT |
How about a cave-variant for the zombie? Posted: 27 Aug 2019 12:56 AM PDT The caves are quite boring right now, how about we add another zombie variant! They would looks like normal zombies but with a pale skin-tone and grey eyes, they would wear mining helmets and a pair of overalls. They could have an increased chance of carrying pickaxes and drop coal and iron bars. They would have spawners in abandoned mineshafts (Cave spiders are great and all but they get old) but would also would spawn anywhere underground They could be perfect for a cave update ;) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 08:41 AM PDT Blocks, that let players look through on one side, but appear as a different block on the other. Sunlight also shall shine inside through the fake block side. The main point would be, observation of the overworld in underground bases. On multiplayer servers that could be even more fun, when you can watch other players walk over your head without knowing. What makes me want to realise this idea, is that you cannot make a glass ceiling on online pvp servers, because that'd put your base under risk. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Aug 2019 01:02 PM PDT A new weapon has been created, the blowgun! This new weapon would be crafted using three bamboo, one in either of the bottom corners, one in the middle, and one in either of the top corners of a crafting table. The blowgun would shoot stinger darts, which are crafted with a bee stinger (a new drop that would come from bees if you killed them before they stung you) in the top middle, a stick in the center, and a feather in the bottom middle of a crafting table. These blowguns would be very quite, producing very little noise when it shot. The stinger darts it shoots are very low in damage, only doing 1/2 heart with no armor on, but makes up for this with what it does. Stinger darts will apply two status effects to whatever is hit, the effects being fatal poison 1 and nausea 1 for 10 seconds, making them quite debilitating for mobs and players alike. These would not be able to be tipped with potions, as it is already applying two strong status effects. This would be a cool addition because it adds: A new ranged weapon A way to apply nausea A way to apply fatal poison I would appreciate any feedback, constructive criticism, that could improve this post [link] [comments] |

Posted: 27 Aug 2019 01:54 PM PDT Hello, everyone! My suggestion is somewhat interesting. I feel as if experience should be used to create Items and Tools. Now, I know what you might be thinking. "How in the world would you craft tools and armor out of experience?" This answer is somewhat simple. I feel as if a block that was able to turn your experience into a liquid would work. Again, I know what you're thinking. "Okay... where is this going?" Well, you grab some bottles, right click the liquid experience, and you get Bottles o' Enchanting. Using said Bottles O' Enchanting, you can craft Experience Armor + Tools. The durability and damage depends on how much enchantment levels you have. I hope you liked my idea! [link] [comments] |
An updated version of my previous polar bear behaviour post, revised and simplified! Posted: 27 Aug 2019 01:42 AM PDT Polar bear behaivour is currently lacking compred to pandas, foxes and dolphins but i have a solution. Parent polar bears: After a polar bear goes into love mode one of the polar bears will dig a burrow, staying in there for a while with the cubs until the time comes for it to emerge from its burrow and look for food. Hungry bears: Polar bears without cubs have more choices for food, with a range of fish, fox and farm animals such as cows to choose from. Polar bears with cubs would be limited to what they can find on land due to their cubs not being able to follow them into the water to catch fish. Pesky polar bears: Sometimes polar bears will wander into villages to look in barrels, tap on windows and doors, by scaring them off with fireworks or snow golems your village rep would also improve, pillagers will hesitate to attack of polar bears are around though. Roar offs: Occasionly polar bears will engage in roar offs, the bears will stand on their hind legs, wiggle their front legs/arms and roar at each other until one backs off. Play: Baby polar bears will play every now and then, teasing arctic foxes and snowy village cats with growls and wiggling their arms/front legs, a vital part of growing up into a large and dangerous predator. These are just some ideas on how i think polar bears can improve. Thank you for reading and if you like these ideas then please consider voting for it on the official feedback site (link below) [link] [comments] |
Empty shulker boxes should stack Posted: 27 Aug 2019 10:19 AM PDT Make it so that shulker boxes can stack, but only if they're empty. Maybe only up to 16. I don't think this would be too unbalanced, because you still can't have multiple shulker boxes with stuff in then in one inventory slot. This would simply mean they would be easier to move around and store. [link] [comments] |
