Animals drink from water and chickens Peck at the ground occasionally Posted: 02 Jan 2020 04:00 AM PST By implementing this mechanic into the game, I feel like it would make the world feel more alive as you walk past cows drinking from a lake. The animation could last a few seconds but would add to the immersion. As for the chickens, it would be similar to how sheep eat grass but with a pecking animation. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 06:21 AM PST Corn can be planted in farmland using Corn seeds. Every stage of it growing, it will be 1 block tall, except for the final stage, which would be 2 blocks tall and of course, show corn on its texture. When removed in this stage, it will drop 2 Corn and 2 Corn Seeds. Corn grows faster than most crops, probably 1/3 of the speed of bamboo. Corn fills up 3 hunger points (1 and 1/2 meat things). Uncooked Corn gives you 3.6 saturation. If cooked in a furnace or smoker, you will get Grilled Corn, which fills up 7 hunger points(3 and 1/2 meat things). Grilled Corn will give you 9.6 saturation. Naturally Generated Corn can be found in Village Farms, though it would be a bit rare. Corn Seeds can be found as loot in Dungeons, Minecart Chests in Mineshafts, Supply Chests in Shipwrecks, and Jungle Temple Chests. These are the only ways to get Corn, since this plant is a good food source, and easily farmable because of its growth speed. Corn planted in farmlamd will not grow into it's final stage if there is a block above it because it is 2 blocks tall. It will still grow through the stages before the final one. Corn can be used to breed chickens. A small detail that make sense. Corn stacks up to 64 items. Corn Seeds also stack up to 64 items. When placed inside THE COMPOSTER, it has a 65% chance to fill a layer of compost. That's all for my corny idea! -u/LawnmowerKing, Chief of the Corn Comrades [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 09:26 AM PST The players should be given experience from brewing as well it happens with smelting or fishing, as it's considered a work in interaction with an object you do or find; and there's quite a few people that use potion brewing for their normal gameplay. Posted: 02 Jan 2020 07:55 AM PST Chickens will now lay a fertilized egg a few moments after mating with another chicken. Only one of the two chickens involved (randomly chosen since Minecraft mobs have no gender) will lay an egg. The fertilized egg will act as a block similar to turtle eggs, except that they cannot be clustered. An adult chicken will sit on the egg for about a quarter of a day before the egg hatches a chick. Chickens will still lay eggs randomly like in current Vanilla, and you can still throw them, but chicks will not spawn as often (it will be very rare). Also, chicks will have a yellow skin instead of being just a smaller version of the white Chicken. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 07:15 AM PST The Brick (not the block form) doesn't have that much use aside from making bricks and pots. Like in real life, you should be able to physically assault players by throwing bricks at them. You can throw bricks by right clicking. In MCPE, you can hold the screen and then you will start to throw the bricks. and automatically continue firing until you stop or if you are out of bricks. It's range will be about 10 blocks. When a brick hits a mob, it deals 1 heart of damage (2HP) and can knockback them. The brick will be gone if it hits a mob. But if it hits a block (other than fire or lava) or a non-mob entity, like Armor Stands, it will drop as an item. One brick can be thrown every 1 second (like ender pearls), as it would be OP if it had the firing rate of eggs! Plus, bricks are heavy. (Imagine a brick machine gun...) You can block bricks with shields, but there is a chance of disabling it. [link] [comments] |
A gamerule that controls coral needing water Posted: 01 Jan 2020 07:33 PM PST What I want is something to be added to /gamerule that's basically something along the lines of CoralDies, which would control whether coral would die when placed outside of water. The default is true, which means coral will die when not adjacent to a water block. If false, coral lasts forever without dying regardless of whether or not it's adjacent to water. With enough velocity you can fly through glass panes with an elytra Posted: 02 Jan 2020 02:02 PM PST When you fly fast enough, you can break through glass panes, with a small amount of speed loss and damage (less than flat wall). It wont be too game breaking but it will look so cool and it makes a lot of sense. [link] [comments] |
Reinforced concrete made from concrete powder and iron bars Posted: 02 Jan 2020 09:51 AM PST Right now, when concrete powder falls on iron bars, it lands on top of them as if they were a solid block. Instead it should fall through them, taking up the same space. Then if water touches it, instead of turning into concrete, it should be reinforced concrete - it looks the same as regular concrete, is mined with a pickaxe the same way, and has the same hardness, but its blast resistance is 30, the same as iron bars (instead of 9 like regular concrete). Kind of like how we reinforce concrete irl by putting rebar in it. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 10:19 AM PST When you craft a milk bucket and an egg together, you get cheese. When eaten, cheese gives you 4 hunger points. If you put cheese into a furnace, you get aged cheese. Aged cheese gives you 6 hunger points and absorption for 15 seconds. When you make aged cheese for the first time, you get the "Aged Like Milk" advancement/achievement. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 01:56 PM PST A villager hermit house could spawn all alone, isolated from villages. These villagers would have the profession "Hermit", and would use the campfire block as their workstation. You could trade with the hermit by bartering, trading one item for another, instead of using emeralds because they have no use for them. These barters could upgrade, starting out as something like "1 iron for 2 apples" or "1 block of glass for 3 bricks", and leveling up to something like "1 pair of shears for 2 leads". This is different from the wandering trader because their job is to trade items from distant places with other villagers, while the hermit just works to sustain themselves. The hermit house could spawn in any biome with villages. Chests would contain a variety of basic goods, like logs, leather, fish, iron, bones, meats, etc. These houses would be just as common as villages, but would not be able to spawn in the same chunk as one. Note: Villager professions are a common suggestion, but I see this as more of a world generation feature than a profession suggestion. [link] [comments] |
A music that plays when fighting Wither or Ender Dragon Posted: 02 Jan 2020 10:16 AM PST There's already a music that plays when fighting ender dragon and if you defeat the dragon, the music will change but the problem is, the music is more of an ambient sound than a music. Also the music that'll be added should be quite intense but still sticks with the Minecraft format and atmosphere. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:12 PM PST Similar to how you get cooked food from animals when they die by fire, zombies should have the chance of dropping a baked potato instead of a raw one when burning to death. [link] [comments] |
More Petrified Oak Wood stuff. Posted: 02 Jan 2020 06:05 AM PST Petrified Oak Wood is a "wood" that exists that has the texture of Oak Planks but has the same mining level and fire resistance as Stone. However currently only slabs exist for this. So I suggest we get the rest of the set. Petrified Oak Log, Petrified Oak Wood, Petrified Oak Leaves, Petrified Oak Stripped Wood, Petrified Oak Planks, Petrified Oak Stair, Petrified Oak Fence, and Petrified Oak Fence Gate. Fire Aspect Lights All Touched Blocks On Fire In The Nether Posted: 02 Jan 2020 07:25 AM PST as it is 'Fire Aspect' i thought it would make sense if in the nether when you hit a block it would burst into flames, also all creatures set alight by fire aspect in the nether stay on fire until death just to prove how hot it is in there [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 09:18 AM PST While this is isn't a new idea it has been annoying me magma/slime balls are the only orb shaped items that can't be thrown (i.e snowballs, ender pearls, ender eyes, and eggs) I did want to give my idea of how it could work. The trajectory of the slime ball isn't as far as other throwable things (meaning you need to be a little bit closer to where you want to hit.), When it hits the floor it's smushed into a little puddle of slime similar in texture to what's on top of the sticky piston that will disappear after a certain amount of time. Standing on a slimed block will prevent jumping and would obviously makes you a lot slower. Magma slime balls do much the same but they burn you. [link] [comments] |
Obsidian dropped on the ground does not get destroyed by TNT Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:13 PM PST Just like the nether star, obsidian in item form could not be destroyed by explosions. This is for the purpose of consistency with its block form, and might apply to dropped bedrock as well. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 10:48 AM PST Beacon receiver - basically, you place it somewhere above your beacon, and when the beam hits this block, it stops the beam from continuing upward yet still lets the beacon transmit its beam below the receiver. Another use for the "Beacon Receiver" is when the receiver receives the beacon it will output a constant Redstone signal. [link] [comments] |
Pet dogs should herd sheep and cows when commanded to Posted: 02 Jan 2020 10:40 AM PST This feature would be helpful in ranching, so why not implement it? Also, dogs will automatically detect a gate and surrounding fence and herd the sheep and cattle in there. This would also be applicable to pigs. Dogs stop herding when the gate is closed/commanded to stop. Dogs should also be able to follow path blocks to assist with herding. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:26 AM PST Inside Taiga, Ice Plains, and Ice Spikes biomes you can now find large Snow Mountains with Grass covered in snow and large lakes of ice. Inside the mountain is gold ore and Mineshafts (Gold Rush) and you can find Polar Bears, Sheep, Artic Foxes (the white Fox texture), Strays, Wandering Traders, and Snow Golems here. All rain is snow and all water will freeze. Spruce trees can be found here. Small tents can be found here containing beds, chests (sometimes), cows, cats, and Villagers. The main goal is to climb the mountain. Upon reaching the top, there will be a mob called Flag. It is a small flag that doesn't move or attack. Kill it to summon the Ice Creature. The Ice Creature is a boss that throws large snowballs dealing damage at you. Golems won't attack it and neither will the Wither. Any water within 25 blocks of the IC will turn to Ice. Any ice blocks within 25 blocks will turn to Packed Ice. Any lava within 25 blocks will turn to Obsidian. It can also charge quickly at you and launch you up (like Iron Golems do). Regardless of what biome it is in or whether it's raining already, it will snow within 50 blocks of it. Upon defeat, you get a bunch of experience and two stacks of Golden Snowballs. Golden Snowballs can only be obtained by defeating the Ice Creature. They are golden variants of the Snowball texture. They deal 10 damage on hit (enough to kill a player in 2 GS) and 9 can be put together in a Crafting Table to get a Golden Snow Block. These can be used for decoration, turned back into 9 Golden Snowballs, or used to make a Golden Snow Golem. These are the same as Snow Golems, but they use Gold blocks for the texture instead of Snow blocks. They have the same health as an Iron Golem and throw Golden Snowballs, however they move slowly. They can survive in deserts, however they move much slower than normal. They can survive in water, however they sink to the bottom and can't swim (they'll stay at the bottom and won't drown). New crafting recipes: healthy and unhealthy Posted: 02 Jan 2020 04:21 AM PST There are much food items in Minecraft and much of them have one or no use. I would like more use for items like the egg or cocoa beans. Here are some ideas:
I hope you like my ideas. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 07:16 AM PST The Bone Pile is something found rarely at night or in caves, and it (and the Bone Skeleton) can be mainly be found in Abandoned Mineshafts. It has a Spawn Egg for it as well. When summoned, the Bone Pile will sit and not move, after a couple of seconds, it will begin to vibrate. After vibrating, a few more seconds will pass and it will turn into a Bone Skeleton. The Bone Pile drops 2-4 bones, 3-6 bone meal, and very rarely a skeleton skull. If a normal skeleton is killed by a falling anvil, it will turn into a Bone Pile. If a Bone Skeleton is killed, it turns into a Bone Pile. The Bone Skeleton is something found rarely at night or in caves, and it can be mainly found in Abandoned Mineshafts. It doesn't have a spawn Egg for itself. It acts like a normal skeleton, however it has six possible weapons. Those are bow, crossbow, stone sword, iron sword, fists (nothing), and shield. When a Bone Skeleton is killed, it drops 1-2 bones and will spawn a Bone Pile in its place. Posted: 02 Jan 2020 02:15 AM PST idk i had this idea in a dream, if you have a sword with fire aspect I on it then it will evaporate one block of water FA II will evaporate 2 water blocks that are touching each other and with FA III you will be able to evaporate 3x3 water blocks at the surface of the water doing this however damages your durability on your sword [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Jan 2020 09:58 AM PST Bananas could be added to add more fruition to Jungle Biomes. With bananas, more food can be added such as banana bread. Having a bunch of bananas may be more beneficial than a single one? Bananas can also be a great way to have monkeys as a passive mob, or with some helpful uses! Would love to hear others suggestions! Posted: 02 Jan 2020 10:28 AM PST Wild Boars are a variant of the pig that spawns in the taiga, snowy taiga, snow biomes, with a 60% chance along with every-other biome which it spawns with a 10% chance. Wild boars are neutral but with piglets or towards wolves and polar bears are aggressive, they 6 hearts of health and deal 2 hearts of damage. When ever boars sense a wolf or polar bear it unleashes a scraggly and boorish screech to warn mobs away before chasing. Killing a boar wields 2-6 porkchops and a 5% chance to get the head as a trophy. Boars also have some ambience to them; during nighttime they group up and sleep while occasionally 1 wakes up to watch out, Boar mothers also nuzzle their piglets while piglets roll over. The Boar would be a neat and ambient mob that would enhance ambience in its biomes while also giving a reward for those who kill it. [link] [comments] |
