    Colourblind modes

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 02:46 AM PST

It's really a simple suggestion that can make its way to the game. For the very few 1% of people who play MC and are colourblind, adding in a few special options under the Video settings will help greatly with gameplay. Here they are:

    *Protanopia*

    *Deuteranopia*

    *Tritanopia*

    *Monochromacy*

All these settings are adjustable (intensity slider adjusts the strength of the setting).

This can also be used to provide a more challenging Survival mode, as colours will not appear as usual to the player, thus confusing the brain on what is and what is not. For example, a pool of lava could be blue, and a pool of water could be yellow or pink.

If this idea gets popular enough, somebody other than me can add it to the feedback site. It would also be beneficial to MC in spicing up the game. I cannot post suggestions to MC Feedback site cause I was banned for life there, and I am not going to create a new account just to evade said ban, as it is wrong.

Pillager outpost should generate more small structures around it

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 04:23 AM PST

Pillager outpost generate small structures like tents, targets, logs etc. but the amount of them generating is like 0-3...

I think they should generate more like 4-8 cuz it'll make outpost look more like an outpost and lively.

It's a simple change really and I don't think this'd effect the game that much, it's purely an aesthetic suggestion.

    Thank you for reading. :)

    Polar bear remake

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 09:11 AM PST

For a game that whose developers seem to care so much about the player not killing polar bears the game does a really poor work at depiticting them like the real animal, specially seeing how much attention to detail they put into the panda bear. Real polar bears are really good swimmers and even hunt while diving, they also dont live in open frozen plains but mostly in frozen coastlines. Seeing how new mobs lile foxes and pandas are so well done I think this forgoten mob should be given the same treatment, polars bears should have a swimming speed and animation an baybe even hunt for fish, they also would be more in place in the iceberg biome.

    Add Color Variants

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 02:46 PM PST

Other colors for animals would be amazing! We have tons of horse/sheep/cat variants, I'd love to see some gray or black wolves, or all black chickens, some white pigs with gray spots. Just some other colors to add to the animal kingdom. Brown bears and black bears would be cool to add to the game too!

    Mimics

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 02:59 AM PST

Mimics are mobs that spawn in caves. They take the form of ores, which is dependent on its axis. For example, mimics spawning below y16 will be disguised as diamond ores. Mimics drop 0-1 of the ore they are taking form.

They attack by throwing pebbles at the player (quite rapidly), which causes nausea for 5 seconds (head trauma). Every few attacks, mimics will shoot their special attack which is dependent on their ore form. Pickaxes are more effective against them than swords.

"Special" Attacks Coal Mimics = Blindness [15s] Iron Mimics = Slowness [30s] Redstone Mimics = Fire Gold Mimics = Weakness [30s] Diamond Mimics = Mining Fatigue [30s] Emerald Mimics = Poison [15s] Quartz Mimics = Wither [3s]

Specific criteria for spawn: - Ceiling block above must be stone. - Must fit into a 1x1 hole with one air block adjacent. - Low light level.

    Smoke block

    Posted: 29 Jan 2020 09:45 PM PST

The smoke block isn't a cubic meter of smoke, it is just an invisible block that emits smoke particles, both puffy campfire smoke and normal black smoke. Mainly used for a bit of extra atmosphere in the world. It acts a bit similar to air. When you place blocks in a smoke block, the smoke block disappears.

    Usages

Note: With commands, you should be able to get this block, just like barriers

    1. When a creeper explodes, smoke blocks would be scattered over the crater
    2. when lightning strikes an area, 1-3 smoke blocks would be scattered around the impact point
    3. TNT explosions
    4. when rain has contact with lava, some smoke blocks would appear (there will be a limit of how many smoke blocks can be created by rain in a chunk, to prevent lag)

there will be a game rule to prevent natural smoke blocks

    Custom Challenge feature

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 09:31 AM PST

I thought this would be a nice idea. Wanna spice up your Minecraft experience? Well then add in an extra layer of challenge with this.

Undead modifier: Lets you function as an undead mob. You burn in the sun

Fishman modifier: Can breath underwater forever but start to die upon being on land too long

Thats all I've thought've but I think it could be great

    Redstone elevators

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:22 AM PST

I had an idea a while back for redstone elevators, and I felt like I should post it here as well. So basically, you get a new block, which is a leather balloon with a frame made of sticks. The block always goes up by default. You also get a block called the "interruptor", which stops an elevator from moving up or down while adjacent to it. The elevator has uses outside of transportation, like completing a circuit. Redstone dust placed on the elevator will not break when the elevator starts to move, so it can be used in conjunction with an Interruptor to complete circuits at different Y levels. I'm not sure how you could reverse the elevator's direction, but it seems like that should be an automated process. What do you guys think?

Swamps near Warm Ocean/ Lukewarm oceans should be mangrove swamps

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 10:05 AM PST

Mangrove Swamps consist of differently shaped swamp trees using jungle wood. Tropical fish and pufferfish can spawn in these biomes. They generate as borders between swamps and warmer oceans biomes. Witch huts and slimes do not spawn here.

    Custom smelting recipe buckets

    Posted: 29 Jan 2020 04:47 PM PST

Smelting recipes should get a bucket key for producing water, lava or milk buckets based on what you smelt.

Currently only wet sponges make buckets and you can't override that.

Make the size of spawn chunks configurable with new command

    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 12:55 AM PST

The location of spawn chunks can be changed with the setworldspawn command. However, the size of those spawn chunks cannot be altered.

Spawn chunks are always loaded when players are in the Overworld. It may be useful to control the size of spawn chunks for various reasons.

A new command setworldspawnsize would give server administrators some control over the size of the spawn chunks. This takes an integer as a parameter. This integer refers to the number of chunks in each direction that are spawn chunks. It ranges from 1 to 15. This is the number of chunks in each direction other than the chunk containing the world spawn point that will be in the spawn chunks. Lazy chunks are additional to these chunks. The number of chunks is equal to (2n+1)×(2n+1). A value of 1 means the spawn chunks are 3×3; a value of 15 gives spawn chunks of 31×31. (Note: if the world spawn falls on a chunk boundary, the number of chunks in that direction increases by 1).
