    Minecraft Ebony Fungi

    Ebony Fungi

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 06:44 AM PST

1-3 Ebony Fungi (trees) generate per Nether Fortress.

They're hard to miss, as they are pretty huge and spawn in dedicated rooms.

They are very hard and require a Diamond Axe to chop down (and drop).

They can be crafted into Planks, Stairs, etc., Stripped... like any other type of wood.

All Ebony blocks have the same qualities as Obsidian, being hard to mine and blast resistant.

The blocks are black in color and have a smooth appearance, the logs have a dark brown reddish bark and are black on the inside. The Cap is made of Ebony Nether Wart Blocks.

Ebony Fungi (item) take twice as much time/bonemeal to grow compared to other Saplings.

They must be grown on Soulsand or Soul Soil.

This would give Players a more visually pleasing alternative to Obsidian.

    Block Creator

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 11:14 AM PST

This is REALLY REALLY OUT-THERE idea but here we go.

The Block Creator is exclusive to creative mode, It allows the player to create a custom block by selecting a color from a color wheel as well as a texture (eg: Brick, Bark, Planks, Leaves, etc.)

I feel it'd break many of the boundaries that players have when creating builds like "Which block will look good with these other blocks" or "I can't find a block that'll match this other block the way I like"

Crafting any Prismarine-related Block with a Bone Block will result in an Ancient version, with a color scheme similar to an Elder Guardian's.

    Posted: 21 Feb 2020 06:13 PM PST

This would give Players new building options.

The crafting would be 1 Prismarine and 1 Bone Block for 2 Ancient/Elder Prismarine.

This would work with ALL Prismarine related blocks, including Sea Lanterns.

    Villager AI Improvements

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 03:20 PM PST

Due to villager AI, villagers seek to be outdoors at a certain time of day. Having no roof doesn't seem to count, as if you try to build an underground village, and you have a massive hole in the ground that allows them access to sunlight, this doesn't seem to cut it. They will climb to the surface, and then forget about the village because they are well outside the boundary.

My suggestion is that some improvement should be made to villager AI that will make it much easier to make underground villages without losing all of the inhabitants, such as not having them crave sunlight so much below a certain altitude, or something along those lines.

    Netherite Arrows

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 05:28 AM PST

The crafting recipe would be 8 arrows and 1 netherite ingot to produce 8 netherite arrows. The arrows would work on both bows and crossbows, however it would take longer for the arrows to charge. The arrows would do 50% more damage, and would add the multiplier before the Power enchantment would. However, it would use up 3 durability points on a bow compared to 2 on a crossbow.

    Crusher - Pickaxe Enchantment.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 11:56 AM PST

Crusher is an Enchantment applicable on Pickaxes.

It adds a 10% chance of instantly mining the selected block on level I plus 5% each additional level, for a maximum chance of 25% at level IV.

This is meant to be a "mid-game" Enchantment, that gets later replaced by the famous Efficiency + Haste combo.

Piglins see ridden pigs as insulting

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 10:30 AM PST

If a Player rides a pig within 10 blocks of a Piglin, the Piglin will see this as a form of insult and mockery and become hostile to the player. The Piglin will also have some level of strength and speed.

The return Wax and Crystalized Honey for noise cancelling purposes.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 02:09 PM PST

Back in the 1.15 snapshots we kinda got a new block and a new item in the form of wax and crystallized honey, only for them to be quickly removed by later snapshots so it didn't go anywhere. Apart from that, I think we all want at least a way to mitigate all the sounds things like redstone contraptions make.

That would mark the return of wax to save the day. To make wax, you would need to put crystallized honey in a 4x4 arrangement in the crafting table and to make crystallized honey you would need to put both a honey bottle and a bucket of water side by side on a crafting table (without wasting either).

Wax's main use would be to muffled noise as long as its completely covering the noise source. Outside all they would hear would be low muffled noise. All this would be doing would be silencing the blocks inside and replacing their sounds with a muffled sound effect. This way you technically don't have to completely overhaul the sound engine, just slightly if anything.

Villager should stand next to job site instead of on top of it

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 02:28 PM PST

Villagers stand on top of their job site instead of standing next to it when working.

How many people do you know who stand on a grindstone instead next to it while working? Same for fishers on barrels, toolsmiths on smithing tables, armorers on blast furnaces, butchers on smokers, cartographers on cartography tables, farmers on composters, leatherworkers on cauldrons, etc.

Villagers should find a block to stand next to the job site block, not on it or above it.

    Fire Creepers

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 06:56 AM PST

Creepers have a % chance of being 'Fire'.

This chance scales with Difficulty and Regional Difficulty.

'Fire' Creepers are recognizable by the "aura" of flame particles around them.

'Fire' Creepers can still become Charged.

'Fire' Creepers will have the same explosion power and radius as regular Creepers, but their explosion will leave fire around and set ablaze entities caught in the explosion.

Warped and Crimson Nylium should be able to have paths made like grass

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 12:37 AM PST

It's common knowledge that grass can be made into grass paths with a shovel. But what if for the Nether, we could have simple paths with Nylium paths? It would look cool and help prevent mob spawns on top of them like grass paths. Perhaps this feature should also be able to be used for Mycellium and Podzol?

    Telekinesis

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 04:21 PM PST

You can lift items up with a tap of a button (only with telekinesis 1)

Telekinesis 2 you can lift blocks and utilize them as a weapon and you can place it into your inventory

Telekinesis 3 you can do everything listed and grab entire structures! If the block allows then you can chisel it as long you have nothing in your other hand. You can also pick up players and choke or crush them.Crushing them would result in the items being destroyed.

Wand of Silence - no more redstone noises!

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 10:23 AM PST

The wand of Silence would be crafted from wool (occupying the first and third vertical slots of the crafting table), a stick (in the centre) and two gold ingots (above and below the sticks). It would have a durability of about 1000 to start with but it would be able to be enchanted with unbreaking. The Wand's use would be to silence any redstone blocks that emit noise, such as pistons, repeaters and input devices. I feel that this could be incredibly useful in hiding contraptions and it may be really good for mapmakers

Warped Nether Wart (basically a blue version of Nether Wart) as a growable crop.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 04:04 PM PST

We all know that nether wart can be crafted into nice, red nether wart blocks, and these blocks can be found as a part of huge crimson fungi. Because huge warped fungi have a blue, "warped" equivalent" of this block, I though it would be neat if nether wart had a "warped" equivalent itself. Without further ado, here is my concept for "Warped Wart" and its applications:

    Warped Wart

    • A blue version of Nether Wart that grows on Soul Soil.
    • 9 Warped Wart in a Crafting Table can be crafted into a single Warped Wart block.
    • Regular Nether Wart can be placed on Soul Soil, but will not grow.
      • Likewise, Warped Wart can be placed on Soul Sand, but will not grow.
    • If soul fire is burning on a block adjacent to a Soul Sand block upon which Nether Wart is growing, instead of growing as normal, the Nether Wart will be converted into a fledgling Warped Wart plant and the Soul Sand it was placed on will be converted to Soul Soil.
      • The process can happen in reverse; if normal fire is burning on a block adjacent to a Soul Soil block upon which Warped Wart is growing, the Warped Wart will morph into a Nether Wart plant and convert the Soul Soil upon which it's growing into Soul Sand.
    • 1-2 Warped Wart has a very low chance (about the same chance as Warped Nylium) of being obtained from Piglin bartering.
    • Warped Wart can be crafted with nether bricks to create Blue Nether Brick blocks.
      • Stairs, walls, etc. can be crafted with these as well.
      • The crafting recipe is the same as the Red Nether Brick recipe, but with Warped Wart instead of Nether Wart.
      • The color of the Blue Nether Brick blocks will be a shade of blue slightly lighter than Dark Prismarine.
    • Water Bottles can be brewed with Warped Wart to produce Twisted Potions.
      • Unique potions such as Potions of Blindness, Potions of Withering (Wither effect), and Potions of Haste can only be crafted using Twisted Potions as a base.
    • Wither Skeletons absolutely hate Warped Wart growing in their fortresses, and will hunt down any Warped Wart plants they see and destroy them.
      • Wither Skeletons will seek out any Warped Wart plants they see within ~23 blocks of themselves, and will hit and break Warped Wart plants when within 1 block of them.

So there you have it, a concept for a blue variant of Nether Wart that can be used to craft new blocks (and an existing one), create a potentially renewable source for Soul Soil, concoct new types of potions, and make improved Wither Skeleton farms. What do you guys think?

Bad Omen caused by witch cats

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 10:02 AM PST

Cats at Witch Huts are now actually special. They are still black cats only and the syntax to spawn a witch cat is cat {CatType:99}. Coming within a few blocks of them causes Bad Omen. There is a cool down between causing Bad Omen, and the cat will cause it once per Minecraft day (once per 20 minutes).

    Enchantment transfer item

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 11:06 AM PST

A really useful idea is a sort of crafting block that lets you disenchant tools and item, but it also uses a little of your experience to re-enchant a book or tool with the enchantment that was taken off the last tool, so you can transfer enchantments, this item should be hard to obtain, but it's really practical and useful!

Triggerhappy - New Crossbow Treasure Enchantment.

    Posted: 21 Feb 2020 04:54 PM PST

Triggerhappy is a Crossbow Treasure Enchantment that is mutually exclusive with Mending.

It gives a 25% chance of not consuming Firework Rockets when shot and a 75% chance of not consuming Arrows when shot.

Tipped and Spectral Arrows are unaffected.

Balancing villages + making wandering traders useful.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 12:17 AM PST

Following the release of 1.14, villages have become too useful, especially early game, due to the piles of wheat that are just lying around. They also spawn in lots biomes making them pretty easy to find, so it takes away a lot of early game challenge.

Another 1.14 feature, the wandering trader, is pretty useless. For most players, he only exists to supply free leads.

To fix these two issues, I propose a few changes to balance villages and make wandering traders useful.

First, Villages should simply be less common. Maybe half as many as there are now. To make up for fewer villages, villages should generate with more homes and villagers. This would make finding villages more rewarding.

Second, Wandering traders should actually walk between villages, instead of just teleporting away from you. When a Wandering trader spawns, he would stick around for a while, but instead of disappearing, he would walk in the general direction the closest village. This means players could follow traders to search for villages or at least find out the general direction of one. The trader would, however, despawn if the player is too far away.

These changes would make finding villages feel like more rewarding.

    [Netherite rifle]

    Posted: 22 Feb 2020 02:22 PM PST

I know... that weapond looks a lot like a gun.

so I don't think this weapon will be added to minecraft but I'm still trying:

this weapon will be made with three netherite ingots, a lever and a dispencer.

it will have as ammunition fireworks stars.

this damage will be of 6 of damage point (inferior to the bow and the crossbow) BUT its projectile will ignore 40% of the points of armor.
