Make mobs burn blue when they get by a Fire Aspect enchanted netherite weapon. Posted: 06 Feb 2020 04:00 AM PST I think it pairs well with the theme of the Nether. Note block placed on top of soul soil will have the violin sound. Posted: 06 Feb 2020 05:28 AM PST I have a feeling that the soul soil's texture fits for a violin, the lines feel smooth like the sound of a violin. Smooth. Actually I've been longing to hear the beautiful sound of a violin in Minecraft. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 04:12 AM PST If you enchanted Netherite it should glow red/orange as I think Bluey Purple would look ugly [link] [comments] |
Netherite Blocks Should Be Wither-Proof Posted: 06 Feb 2020 06:40 AM PST Ancient Debris and Netherite blocks have a very high blast resistance, so much so that you can use TNT to mine for them without breaking the actual Ancient Debris block. Yet put a Wither near them and he blows right through them. Considering how hard it is to get lots of Netherite, its high blast resistance, and its better-than-diamond level properties, I think Netherite blocks should be invulnerable to the Wither's attacks. This way we won't need to exploit bedrock or respawning end platforms to make Wither cages, letting us build them anywhere, but at the cost of a ton of Nether exploration and mining. Posted: 06 Feb 2020 06:15 AM PST If you try to light Crimson or Warped wood on fire, it doesn't burn, nor does fire spread to it. So therefore, it can't be burned in a furnace either, and can't be used as fuel. Edit: u/parishiit0n said it already can't be used as fuel. I should have checked before making this post, sorry everyone [link] [comments] |
Skeleton Horses appears in the Nether Posted: 06 Feb 2020 10:01 AM PST Why the horsmen of the apocalypse do not appear in the soul sand valley so that we can recover their skeleton horses. [link] [comments] |
Netherite boots protect against magma blocks. Posted: 06 Feb 2020 08:02 AM PST Since they items don't take lava or fire damage, when wearing Netherite boots, Magma shouldn't deal damage when stepped on. If Frostwalker does it then so should Netherite. [link] [comments] |
Note Block + Block of Netherite = Electric Guitar Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:15 PM PST Recompose the DOOM theme! I feel like an electric guitar sound for a nether block would be very appropriate since electric guitars are typically used for heavy metal music. All Netherite-related items are immune to explosions Posted: 06 Feb 2020 10:08 AM PST When any Netherite-related item is on the ground as an item entity, it should be immune to explosions, just like the Nether star. This reflects the Ancient Debris' and Netherite block's immunity to explosions, and I feel it would fit well with Netherite seeing as it is extremely sturdy and is already immune to fire and lava. Hostile variants of bats in caves in the Nether Posted: 06 Feb 2020 09:39 AM PST I apologise in advance to people who are pissed off with Nether-related posts now, but I assure you, this isn't related to the snapshot. Seeing that the Nether is becoming more livable in the next update, I'm suggesting this to still keep some aspects challenging, to balance it out. These come in 2 varieties, one with glowing yellow eyes, and the other with red eyes (in retrospect, somewhat similar to spiders). The difference between them is their drops. The "yellow" bat drops glowstone dust on killing it, while the red one drops redstone. They probably do 1 damage, but are still a decent threat because they attack in a swarm. They have the same health as normal bats. Tying it to the snapshot, this would make it harder to get Netherite, which is justified, since Netherite augments already powerful diamond equipment to make them even more overpowered. I'll admit, this is one of my lesser fleshed out suggestions, but that's that. Thanks for reading and remember not to make the burnt pillow angry! 🔥 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 06:07 AM PST Already in the game: Mushroom biomes apparently have greyish water as if it's muddy or moldy, and both make sense since it's on an island with a lot of dirt and fungi, fungi like damp areas to grow, so it would make sense if Mushroom Islands were muddy and obviously it makes sense they would be contaminated with mold or spores. I suggest the ocean near Mushroom biomes should be Mushroom Oceans. Mushroom Shores May only generate next to Mushroom Field Biomes and Mushroom Ocean Biomes. Mushroom Ocean Biomes can only generate next to any ocean biome and will only generate next to Mushroom Shores. Mushroom Oceans have the same grey water as other Mushroom Biomes. The sea floor is made of gravel and mold, which can generate in patches underwater, and is similar to mycelium outside of appearance and that it will not decay when underwater. Mold would look gross, because, it's mold, obviously, and it would grow on dirt. It only generates underwater but can still be placed on land and mushrooms may be placed on it, even in bright areas. No other vegetation except for mold grows in Mushroom Oceans and no mobs will spawn either. Because of the harsh conditions of Mushroom Oceans and the abundance of mold and fungi, any underwater plants that are planted will not grow and will eventually "die" (break without dropping anything) within 1-2 days. Coral will die in Mushroom Oceans. Edit: u/assassin10 pointed out that my idea is useless. I agree. Mold is specified to be ugly and would probably be bad for building. I don't know what I was thinking here. I'll keep the previous things on the post there for now. Here's some things to make it less useless.

Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:38 AM PST I think it would be cool if you could manage to gain some respect with the piglings, like, at rank 1 they're hostile to you when not in gold armor and will beat you up if steal from them, at rank 2 they will be hostile to you not wearing full armor, at rank 3 you don't need an armor, at rank 4 they let you open their chests and at rank 5 you can receive quests like getting food, increase the bastion security, mine, etc. [link] [comments] |
When a raid starts, the soundtrack should switch to something more intense Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:36 PM PST It feels odd to have piano playing while you are fighting off a raid, there should be a separate soundtrack for raids depending on difficulty. [link] [comments] |
Crimson and Warped buttons should give different pulses Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:04 PM PST Wooden buttons give out a pulse of 15 ticks (1.5 seconds) [link] [comments] |
Water Should Turn to Basalt When Touched By Lava Posted: 06 Feb 2020 10:15 AM PST I'm not saying take away cobblegens, I'm talking about when a non source block of lava hits a source block of water it turns into stone... instead, it should be basalt! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:34 AM PST Hey everyone! I heard that Mojang is planning to improve the mountains - better snow, goats etc. So I think you should also add meadows in the mountains to make it more real. What's new? New plant - Edelweiss Edelweiss are white flowers growing in the mountains, which can also be used to make white dye. Highlanders Highlanders are mountain equivalents of villagers. Their houses are built of spruce and oak. In their villages the church is also built of wood just like in real life. The mountain also breed goats and sheep in the meadows. New plant - Crocus Crocus is another plant growing in mountain meadows. They are available in the following colors: purple, yellow and red. They can be used to produce purple, yellow and red dye. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome :) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Feb 2020 09:05 AM PST Try to barter with a piglin with bricks named "Gold Ingot". Regular advancement, parent advancement is Into the Nether. [link] [comments] |
Netherite looks cool.. yet dull at the same time. Posted: 06 Feb 2020 02:26 PM PST I like the detailing on the netherite armor set, but it looks like it's made of coal or ash. It doesn't carry the same brilliant flashy appearance of diamond. Since it's made of diamond, gold, and nether material, why not add some cyan or yellow/orange trims to the set? Maybe some sort of golden diamond in the center of the chestplate. Just.. something more than a dark gray set. Cyan, black, and yellow might be too much with the limited pixel space though. Black and yellow/orange, or black and cyan would look cool. The latter resembling both the base diamond armor and the new blue flames of the nether. Anyway, what do you think? As it is, it looks like an iron armor from a neat medieval texturepack. Looks cool, but doesn't pop out as the ultimate armor/gear. [link] [comments] |
Ancient debris should spawn in "clumpy" areas, rather than being spread evenly throughout the nether Posted: 06 Feb 2020 11:58 AM PST Ancient debris is like debris from old empires that were crushed by some unseen force, so I find it odd that they are found everywhere. They should be concentrated in large areas (16*16 chunks?) where it is more common than outside of this area, so that it feels like there was once a building there. It would also make an exciting event when you find a small amount of ancient debris, making you want to search around the area for more and maybe even make a specialized "debris mine" that you could come to to find more debris than normal. I feel it's odd that it's spread so evenly like other ires, since it's obviously not like the other ores. [link] [comments] |
Soul fire campfire and jack o' lantern Posted: 06 Feb 2020 12:39 PM PST The soul fire jack o' lantern is simply a jack o' lantern with blue fire inside. The crafting recipe is just a carved pumpkin + a soulfire torch. Purely a decorative light source and can also make golems. The soul fire campfire is a campfire burning with a blue flame. I have a few suggestions as to how it could be made:

Increase leather drop rate from cows to 3-5. Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:49 PM PST Currently cows drop 0-2 leather. Look at a cow. Mojang is trying to tell you that that is an average of one books worth of leather. That's just not right. I did a test where, in peaceful mode, I put all my resources into grinding to get leather armor. 1 hour and 16 minutes. That was a mixture of farming and killing all cows and horses in a 1 km radius area around my farm location. This simple change would possibly make leather armor viable, remove the awful grind we all undergo to get 45 leather for 15 bookshelves. Its a simple and very long awaited change for a resource that has no reason for being as rare as it is. [link] [comments] |
Netherite ore should be hammered on smithing table! Posted: 06 Feb 2020 03:35 AM PST Hard materials must be hammered in smithing table. Such as blaze rods, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite. [link] [comments] |
A new liquid for the End dimension: Acid Posted: 06 Feb 2020 11:23 AM PST Appearance:It looks like lava but purple (something like this) Functionality:Is found in the end, Flows at the same speed as lava, Doesn't burn blocks (but still burns entities), Turns water into purpur, Turns lava into a purple variant of obsidian, Glows at light level 8, Emits purple fire particles, It CAN destroy Netherite, Can be used as fuel in a furnace, smelting 500 items at 3x speed (and also turning the fire texture purple), It CAN damage nether mobs, The death message is: "PLAYERNAME tried to swim in acid". Posted: 06 Feb 2020 07:29 AM PST So I got this idea from a lighting glitch making my horse look like a wither skeleton horse and It gave me the idea if you feed a skeleton horse a wither rose it would change textures and be black like a wither skeleton horse and if you feed it something like a slowness potion it would get rags on it like a stray don't any art of my idea of my idea sorry. original post in the Minecraft subreddit here https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/eyuerc/minecraft_idea_about_skeleton_horse/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf [link] [comments] |
