    Welcome to Horizons!

    We are a Whitelist Vanilla SMP server, who reset on July 5th, playing on hard difficulty and no exploration limits. We've gathered a lot of amazing and fun people during our first season, but we are always looking for new players who can make our community even better! We are home to a lot of talented players, who's skills and talents range from (huge) builds to crazy Redstone contraptions.

    We are a medium sized server, looking for players who like mostly vanilla gameplay and have a strong sense of community.     PvE - This is our non-PvP server - come along and join us! Players build in survival mode, but only need to worry about mobs! A lot of people collaborate to build towns and cities as for example seen here. Our PvE map has reset as of March 13th! With a fresh, new map you can find some land to build solo or join a town! We've recently restarted our Friday Games night in which a different player/town hosts a game, which could be spleef, thimble, or a myriad of other games!

    Creative - Our creative server is mostly open world, and a mixture of naturally generated and world painted terrain. Protection is available for your builds, and WorldEdit is free for you to use, if you want to. Community events on Creative include Spleef and Speed Build on alternating Saturdays. Our Creative server is now running on 1.15.2! Creative recently restarted for Revision 35! Come and take a look!

    Chaos Xray, duping, fly hacks, and other hacks are not allowed. This server is mostly a group of players that have come to play out and test out the latest snapshot! x.nerd.nu is now running the latest 1.15 snapshots. The server is not connected to our main game lobby, so you must connect directly to x.nerd.nu with your snapshot client.

    The map is not guaranteed to continue from one week to the next. It may reset, when absolutely necessary due to stability problems. There is no final map download; everything you build is temporary and for the sake of your enjoyment in the present moment.

    We are a longstanding SMP with currently ~8 active players and we are looking for more! A few players have been there since the early days, others since last year, and a few joined only recently.

    • Overview

      Our main guideline to leave the "meta" of pure Vanilla survival as unaltered as possible (for a public server).

      The only 3 plugins that interfere with this are:

      GriefPrevention, a sleep voting plugin, and player item shops for trading. That means as many features from other plugins you know from other servers are absent by design and won't be added. There are two ranks "new" and "player", they do not give any benefits. You can not buy "power" for real money here and we have no adminshops. Everything on the map was build and farmed in survival.

    • Community

      What you have read so far sounds like your cup of tea? Well then you may fit right in. Rules are laid back. We aim for a close knit community, have some events from time to time, and there is always something you can help with. Staff is usually available to help. Need help digging? Just died far away? No problem. We also have a Hermitcraft-like shop area for players using a trade shop plugin.

    • Gameplay

      This is supposed to feel like a vanilla server. Currency is diamonds. This is not enforced its just what everyone uses. No warps, you have to walk, or fly by elytra. You can focus on long term projects, take your time, because we NEVER RESET the map. Leave for months, pick right up where you left. In +5 years time we built a lot of farms and infrastructure. This makes it a lot easier to get going early in the game, especially for endgame players. But fear not, there is always need for expanding upon whats already there.

      The spawn city is protected. Areas there are released for community builds. Outside the city you can build your own base(s). You will get more claimblocks during play.

    • Specs & Plugins

      Hosted in Germany with 32GB Ram, an i7-4770 CPU, and 2TB storage. We do weekly Backups and run on paper. Regarding updates we don't always run the latest version but we plan to update to every major release eventually. In case an update brings a big change in world generation (e.g. 1.16) we delete chunks that have been loaded less than 3 minutes. Meaning someone likely just passed by while exploring.

      For land claiming we use GriefPrevention, which lets you protect areas you selected with a golden shovel. You can allow certain or all players to build and or access chests/buttons, on your claim. It also protects your claims and the worlds surface from creepers. Then there is also a chest shop plugin. You can use iron nuggest to create villager-like trades. You can do this anywhere, but its recommended to do this in the shopping area or your claim. Harbor is a plugin which skips the night, if 50% or more players are in bed. Lastly there is one that makes bad omen only available at pillager outposts, and one that lets you rotate Glazed Terracotta.

      Additionally we have some datapacks: Ghasts don't break blocks. Shulker respawn ~2 months after they were killed. You can silent mobs by naming them "silent" and undo this with "unsilent". Your 1st Enderdragon kill gets you an Elytra. You can craft Enchanted Golden Apples. Some recipes have been tweaked (bone blocks directly from bones, recolor glass,... )

    You find yourself in a random location. You're not sure if anyone you meet is trustworthy. Somewhere distant there are safe havens with farms, but it's not clear if they will stand for long. There are ruins where people tried to bring about order many times before.

    There are many paths to choose. Bring hope to the world. Become the strongest warlord the world has ever seen. Create order or sow chaos, the choice is yours.

    Mineman is a mostly vanilla server where griefing, raiding and PvP are allowed everywhere. There are few rules, mainly no cheating or bug exploitation. Full rules

    • NameHide - Your nametag is hidden through solid blocks when walking, as if you were sneaking. Stay hidden underground by not sprinting. This helps you keep your base hidden without having to travel extreme distances like on many anarchy servers.

    • Anti-Radar - Radar/ESP are greatly hindered for cheating players

    • Reinforcement - Although no blocks on the server are protected, players can make blocks harder to break using gold/obsidian. This way buildings won't be torn down in a fraction of the time they took to create. More info

    • Local Chat - You only hear players within a certain distance

    • Random spawn

    LambdaCraft Features

    Our server is focused on what we'd like to call Vanilla+ gameplay. It has a few small tweaks that make it more convenient to play while still giving reward for effort. You will always be able to login with a vanilla client as the modifications are all done on the server side. Backups are taken every 30 minutes including to an offsite storage to ensure your builds are not lost. In addition there is a custom block and chest logging tool for admins to prevent griefing.

    This server is similar Hermitcraft with a capitalist diamond economy.

    Map

    We have a fresh nether map for 1.16.1. Our map will not reset again.

    The map seed has been chosen carefully and is unique to this server. In the center are four large mushroom islands. Mushroom islands do not spawn hostile mobs (except for phantoms) so they are great places to build without needing to spawn-proof by spamming lighting. Within 3000 block radius contains every biome possible in version 1.16.1. The map border is 5000x5000 blocks wide. When new biomes are added to MC the border will be expanded to generate them.

    Original Minecraft Software

    Paper and Spigot are modded Minecraft software that most vanilla servers use to maximize their player counts. Unfortunately it also drastically changes the Vanilla mechanics without the player realizing, such as reducing mob spawns and breaking redstone contraptions. Our server uses a thin layer on top of Mojang's official server software to ensure your game world runs like the original.

This emulates single player game play so that your farms can have the same rates even when other players are on. The feature is ported from Paper server but our server does not run Paper.

    This server is a "reverse-engineered" version of the well-known (but offline for years now) PvP-Siege Server (thedarkage nl). One small thing ahead, we're gonna play some rounds with many people today (26.07) at 8pm UTC+2, so that would be the best time to check it out!

    The most famous features from back then are

    • Working catapults & cannons

    New features are

    The concept of the server can best be described as a "medi"game. Two teams (50 players each) have to fight for domination over the map by conquering all flags of the opposing team. A round lasts a maximum of 30 minutes. In the event of death, you can respawn in the arena at flags that have already been captured by your team. So it is possible to work piece by piece as a team, or to develop strategies to defeat the opposing team. There is also extensive insight into your own statistics and a ranking to compare your PvP skills with other players. Since this was a non-profit project from the beginning, there are no premium classes that can be paid for with money, as this often leads to unfair advantages. As a substitute for this, in addition to the traditional classes swordsmen and archers, we have devised map-specific special classes that have very interesting skills and bring unique twists to the battle.

    AncientCraft [Vanilla] {Whitelist} {Europe} {1.16.1} {18+} {Hermitcraft Datapack}

    Welcome to AncientCraft

    AncientCraft is a brand new vanilla server with Hermitcraft datapacks. I find the Hermitcraft server to be a huge success in terms of builds, interaction between players and overall experience, hence why I am trying to replicate that. This is a brand new server (started a couple of hours ago). I am looking for people who want to grow a friendly community.

    Here is a picture of the spawn area. The spawn is a Mushroom island, which I believe will make a great spawn/shop area. There is a double witch hut.

    The server is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany with 2GB of RAM, but will increase when more users start playing. The difficulty is set to Hard.

    Datapacks:

    AncientCraft's Datapack Set includes every single datapack used in the latest Hermitcraft Season. This includes:

    AFK Display, Track Raw Statistics, Track Statistics, Customizable Armor Stands, Silence Mobs, No Endermen Grief, Nether Portal Co-ordinates, Coordinates Hud, One Player Sleep, 2 Shell Shulkers, More Mob Heads, Player Head Drops and Wandering Trader Mini Blocks.

    • No stealing. I like snooping in other people's chests, because I am curious what items they have. You can open other people's chests, hoppers, etc. but taking without permission will result in a ban.
    • No duplicating. Why would you even apply to a SMP server if you are willing to use glitches?
    • No non-consensual PVP. Killing of other players without consent is no good. Of course, a PvP that has been agreed to beforehand is allowed.
    • You break/ blow up creeper/ activate TNT, you fix.
    • Pranks may be conducted. However, your pranks must be reversible without annoying amounts of effort.
    • Do not harass other users.
    • Utilize common sense with any rules that may not be listed. If you are not sure, ask. Admins reserve the final say in any matter.

    What Is Our Server?

    Hello, everybody! I'm here to look for people to join my server, obviously. On this server, we have four current players, including myself! We normally go all-out for a spawn, but this time, we did not, as we just wanted to do a quick, simple SMP-like server, with just our friends.     Who we are:

    Village Valley is a brand new SMP server with a focus on community. Thus, the server follows a towny-like play style. The villages are going to be created by players themselves, they will have their own theme, palette, and rules. The server will mainly focus on villages, you do not have to join one, but it is highly recommended to get the full benefits. Our main goal is to provide a safe, fun and chill environment where everyone feels welcomed, so we have a 1 strike and you're out set of rules to make sure everyone feels that way at all times.     Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! Let's play some Minecraft!

    We are looking for more friendly people to join our Java 1.16.1 server located in Western Canada (GMT -7). We've been open for a little while now and just updated to new hardware including a 10th Gen i7 CPU and Nvme SSD!

    Recently it's pretty quiet so we're looking to fill the server up with more nice, active players! The server is on all the time so any time zone is fine. You are welcome to invite friends as well, just have them fill in our application! Any help finding people would be very appreciated!

    The server is aimed at providing a safe, relaxed, friendly environment for younger players and beginners of all ages (with their parents and/or older siblings if they like) starting around ages 7 and up! It is whitelisted, semi-vanilla on normal difficulty and has a few plugins like GriefProtection, Anti-Cheat, Dynmap, CoreProtect, ShopGUI+, PlayerShopGUI+, SilkSpawners, Multiverse, etc. We backup hourly. We also have a discord server (chat here is a bit less moderated). We have both survival worlds and a creative flat map for those that just like to build! We have also have a small PvP arena for those that like to battle for fun (no items or XP will be lost), it also has a button to spawn a bunch of mobs if you want a challenge!

    The nether maps were reset for 1.16.1 and our resource worlds will reset as needed to keep a steady supply of materials available. The other maps shouldn't need any changes. I also have the ViaVersion plugin that should allow you to connect with Minecraft versions newer than 1.9 up to 1.16.1 for players that have other versions.

    If you are an adult looking for a place to relax and enjoy Minecraft without childish behavior ruining the experience, welcome! With that said, we expect practical jokes, pranks and the like to be played. If you are overly sensitive, then this isn't the server for you.

    About the server
    The server is based out of France (Gravelines) and provided by our own dedicated server.
    We are a Java server running the latest PaperMC with a few changes in order to bring it back as close to the original vanilla as possible while maintaining many of the benefits of running Spigot. This is a randomly generated survival map, with a few plugin concessions made only to facilitate administration, grief prevention and overall community integration. The game difficulty is set to hard and PVP will be enabled with the intent that it is used for consensual purposes and not griefing.

    What kind of players are we
    We are all adult players with normal lives who just happen to like Minecraft because it is relaxing and fun. We understand that people come and go, that motivation goes up and down. We joke and laugh and respect each other. We also try to get together regularly (on Discord) and do things together in game (minigames, base tours etc). The current average age is well above 25 at the moment.

    What kind of server is this
    We promote a low stress community atmosphere, where we can take our time, think before we act, and have fun together! We respect each other and our differences. We act and communicate responsibly and take responsibility for our actions in game. It is a server free from griefing, thieving and moderators. We want you to help us make a tight knit community of fun-loving Minecrafters.

    Game altering features:

    ✔️ Ender Dragon drops Elytra and Egg.

    Things we most likely will never implement:
    ❌ MCMmo.
    ❌ Landclaiming & container protection.
    ❌ Teleporting & warping.
    ❌ Setting homes.

    Here are some simple criteria for being accepted:

    • You are at least 18 years old.
    • You are a nice person (it is really that simple).
    • You aren't overly sensitive and you recognize this is a game and fun will be had.
    • You are not asking yourself "I wonder if I could be considered an adult.." right now.
    • You divulge accurate information about yourself. Not interested in men and women of mystery.

    Things that DO NOT matter:

    • Your redstone skills.
    • Your building skills.
    • You are an introverted hermit or an extroverted social communicator.

    Things that DO matter:

    • Do not abuse anyone.
    • Do not grief anything.
    • Do not steal from anyone.
    • Do not use cheats of any kind.
    • Scripts of any kind are forbidden.
    • Using duplication glitches is not allowed.
    • Do not dig out deserts for sand, use the sand farms instead.
    • Lootable chests may not be destroyed if not using the area it is in.

    We have a strict zero tolerance policy, players doing any of these things will be removed from our community permanently. We don't want our members feeling cheated or abused, so we aren't going to lower the bar just to keep a person around. Recognizing a fine line however is important. I am specifically talking about pranks and jokes. We have many on this server now who like to welcome new players with some practical jokes - the end state of course being that you conducted yourself admirably through it all and you end up rewarded.
