Updated “On A Rail” Advancement. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:55 AM PDT Before 1.12, there was an achievement for Java where the player must ride a mine cart 1km or 1000 blocks. Because there's many more ways of transportation, an updated version of this achievement could look like riding all legitimate types of transportation (Mine cart, Boat, Pig, Llama, Strider, etc) for 1km. Earning this advancement shows the player the different game mechanics & ways of transportation. P.S. It'd be placed under the Adventure Category [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 07:04 AM PDT Minecarts used to be the bast way of transportation, and I think it needs to be the same as today or at least, people should want to use them. My ideas are: 1-Their physics are actually broken. And it should be easy to fix since u/OliverSmidgen did it with a datapack. 2-Make them even faster with powering them with coal or using firework. 3-We should be able to attach them to each other with chains. 4-There should be "sticky rails" that we can place vertically and upside down. And we should be able to place them mid-air and on fences to make better rollercoasters. 5-Place a rail, right click on it with a wrench, place another rail to somewhere else and right click on it with that wrench too, wrench will automatically connect them to each other using the rails in your inventory, making it easier for you to transport villagers. 6-A mob proof minecart that when you ride it, mobs couldn't attack you nor skeletons shoot you. Making minecarts maybe not the fastest way to travel, but the safest one. 7-Mojang should be able to come up with better and unique ideas since they came up with striders when community was asking for nether boats. If you name a villager "Testificate", it will change the skin to the old one Posted: 27 Jul 2020 08:29 AM PDT The title says it all. If you use a nametag to name a villager "Testificate", the villager would look like the old villager skin. For example, the current Librarian skin has the little hat and glasses and all that stuff, but if you were to rename it, the skin would become the original librarian skin (plain white robes). As for all the new professions, I haven't thought much about how it would affect the skin. [link] [comments] |
If mojang adds other dimensions the advancement should be "it nether ends" Posted: 27 Jul 2020 02:05 PM PDT |
Striders dance like parrots to Pigstep Posted: 27 Jul 2020 08:38 AM PDT I mean, Striders look perfect for dancing. When you consider how parrots dance, sideways with the torso rotating and the legs staying stationary or whatever, the Strider model (I think) would be perfect for doing that. Besides, Pigstep is a cool feature that can only be gotten in the Nether. Why not have a nether mob want to dance to it? Think about it! A strider dance party could now be possible! Posted: 27 Jul 2020 06:32 AM PDT Applied to hoe and has only one level. An hoe with the precision enchantment will only break fully grown crops, making easier to harvest big chunks of crops. P.s. Not sure if the flair is right [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 05:35 AM PDT If an evoker dies, all his vexes should die as well, exept if they are renamed. This would prevent random vexes after a raid that kill all your villagers edit: you can make this with a couple simple command blocks [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 08:37 AM PDT A new dungeon structure that may generate in caverns, jungles and dark forests, with many cobwebs and a new block, the Silk block, wich slows down movement similar to soul sand. There are a bunch of chests that may contain all kinds of damaged tools and armor, some materials like iron, gold and maybe diamond, rottem flesh, bones and skulls. A new "miniboss" mob, the Giant spider lurks around here and is a much bigger spider with around 70 health, that can throw cobwebs at you, heavily poison you and deals high melee damage. The giant spider is hostile to every other mob except spiders. [link] [comments] |
Minecarts and rails need to be buffed. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 09:05 AM PDT I think that the Minecarts and rails in Minecraft are disappointing. They got blown out of the water by shulkers and Elytra and are only good for transporting 1 mob at a time. I propose that you should be able to crouch and tap/click a Minecarts and then another with a chain to link them, then making multiple Minecarts chained like a train. Then. Adding a furnace Minecart at the front will tug the others along. Second for the rails. I think they should add a rail that will constantly move the Minecart(s) no matter what, up a steep hill, going down a steep hill, or even coming in fast this rail will slow down the Minecart and get it moving at a slow pace (now you don't have Minecarts colliding into a mess) this rail would be the "pacer rail" sense it keeps Minecarts moving but slow it's good for going up hill because no matter what your Minecart gets up the hill . . . Just slowly I think that's it from me thank you for reading :) [link] [comments] |
Water Logging Paths (let me explain) Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:58 AM PDT I think it would be very nice if you could create ankle depth water features, and puddles without using chests because that looks dumb. But, being able to create puddle around a water fountain, or in a rainy build, would be very cool. [link] [comments] |
Clicking the pause button on bedrock edition should pause the game Posted: 27 Jul 2020 11:28 AM PDT I always find it really annoying that my game doesn't pause when I click the pause button. When I click on the pause button I expect it to pause the game and not to give me the interface while the game is still continuing behind me. [link] [comments] |
Idea for the Illusioner in Minecraft Posted: 27 Jul 2020 04:39 AM PDT The Illusioner was added a long time ago in the 1.12 update to Java Edition and has seen small changes since then, but still does not spawn naturally in the game, or at all in Bedrock Edition. I think that illusioners should spawn as the rarest mob in raids, with only one spawning in the last wave. They should also get a health buff to make them more difficult (maybe double health) When you kill one, it should drop a special item called the Corrupted Totem of Undying. This item can be used when you are at two hearts or less by right-clicking, and doing so allows you to reduce all mobs and enemy players (players that are on different teams when pvp is on) around you in a 10-block radius to half a heart, excluding the Ender Dragon and the Wither. It will also give you two minutes of Fire Resistance and Resistance. You could also add a Corrupted Totem of Undying to the Potion of Invisibility in a brewing stand which would give you a Potion of Duplication. This would give you one minute of invisibility and would summon a fake duplicate, similar to the Illusioner's spell. Adding Redstone Dust would extend to 3 minutes, and adding Glowstone Dust would decrease to 25 seconds, but would summon three duplicates instead of one. What do you guys think? Is this too overpowered or is this balanced? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:10 AM PDT In bedrock, you should be able to place blocks above the nether ceiling like in java [link] [comments] |
Eating any raw meat should have a chance to give food poisoning. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:00 AM PDT The fact that this only applies to raw chicken is a little bizzare. [link] [comments] |
Netherite Block + Shulker Chest = Fireproof Shulker Box Posted: 27 Jul 2020 08:56 AM PDT |
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 12:05 AM PDT Kill a mob through fall damage with a knockback sword [link] [comments] |
Iron golems should Agro when you steal hay bales. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:36 PM PDT I find that a common unbalanced way of stacking up on emeralds/bread early games is when you steal all the villagers hard earned wheat. Making iron golems agro over the theft of hay bales would add more depth and choice to weather those emeralds are worth it or not. [link] [comments] |
Next combat update Ideas for Shields Posted: 27 Jul 2020 11:41 AM PDT Mainly just some ideas i had for Enchants and buffs for shields since they're pretty bland Enchant idea #1 - Rebound (Single tier) -This enchantment would cause projectiles (Potions/snowball and of course arrows) to bounce off the shield with the same force they hit it with, meaning a well timed shield block could turn an attack back on the enemy Enchant idea #2- Just Thorns - Make thorns have an effect on Shields, that's it Enchant idea #3- aftershock (tier 1-3)- adds a CHANCE to give an an enemy a severe knockback effect upon striking your shield, starting at 0.5% and riding to 1.2 % at tier 3, having about the same power as Knockback 2 on a sword, this enchant would be rare (about as rare as mending or infinity) Upgrades for Shields- Take a standard shield and put Four (4) diamonds around it on a crafting bench to increase durability considerably, this can then be placed in a smithing table and made netherite, making it have all of netherite's properties as well These are just some ideas i had, may not be great but i like them. I'd like to bring back crystalized honey. As a block and lamp. Posted: 27 Jul 2020 03:04 AM PDT Smelting a honeyblock would result in a crystalized honey block. If it would be transparent or not, I'm not sure. It would definitely have some lighter spots and tear/scar like texture all around. You can combine one with a sea lanternfo slightly change the texture and also make it a light source. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 26 Jul 2020 04:45 PM PDT It is technically a Hoe and not a Scythe, but it would still be cool to see. [link] [comments] |
I will never financially recover from this Posted: 27 Jul 2020 12:17 PM PDT Throw a stack of diamonds into lava. Thought it would be a fun achievement. [link] [comments] |
New petrified forest biome in the nether Posted: 27 Jul 2020 04:24 PM PDT In the petrified forest there is a new block called be trifled wood which looks like polished basalt with wood texture in it. Also there would be petrified leaves that grow petrified vines. Also zombified piglins spawn a lot in there. The lore of this is that the nether used to be a good place then it got turned into what it is today(or any day) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:36 PM PDT Elytras should have the ability to be upgraded with Netherite. Now I know netherite is only for tools and armor but Elytras are extremely valuable and not very often to find in end cities. We also wear it in place of chestplate armor so I think it should be considered for netherite upgrade. This will also encourage more players to use Elytra in Nether for exploration purposes without having the fear of losing it to lava in case they end up dying in it [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 10:59 AM PDT As many people know 1.16 made crafting a hoe useful for more than farming it is now the preferred tool for a lot of blocks and with that I think that the toolsmith villager should sell hoes now [link] [comments] |
