In hard mode, when the explosion of a creeper hits another, this creeper explodes too. Posted: 12 Sep 2020 04:02 AM PDT Knowing that the creeper might be considered explosive, it would make sense that if he gets hit by an explosion that he explodes. After I know that some people will find it would make him more difficult, that's why I suggest in hard mode only. [link] [comments] |
Make Auto jump default disabled Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:59 PM PDT This is a very annoying thing in the game, which is that almost every time to play in an older version and then change back to a newer one the controls reset and almost always we forget to change it, also almost nobody uses it. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 10:25 AM PDT This would keep it more in line with other potion effects. It seems odd that blindness is hardcoded to have one set radius no matter the strength. [link] [comments] |
When an entity or player is hit by an egg, there should be a visible yolk splatter on them Posted: 12 Sep 2020 02:17 PM PDT Arrows and bee stingers already stick, so I figured this would make sense. Nothing huge, but I thought it'd be funny. [link] [comments] |
In hard mode, zombies spawn in group and not alone. Posted: 12 Sep 2020 06:27 AM PDT In Minecraft, zombies are very easy to kill alone, even without weapon, this is why instead of just one who appears, zombies need to appears in group of 4 at 6 maximum always. Note : Even if there is more zombies who will spawn more you hit it will be still good, since we are in hard difficulty, a difficutly where the player search better challenge. Even if it's mentioned in Minecraft wiki that they appear normally in group of 4 it's not actually true, this is why i write "always", instead of one or two zombies who appears generally instead of 4. If you think it's too difficult, it won't be since the zombies are one of the easiest mobs, you can easily avoid them because they are slow and you can just run, more you will advance in the game, more the player will literally kill them in one hit or two. The player can too just sleep or change the difficulty at any moments. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:12 PM PDT Zombie Hordes would be a common appearance that would spawn atleast once in every 1000×1000 block area. There would be 24-100 zombies depending on difficulty. They would all look like actual player-turned zombies and would walk around with leather chainmail and iron armor with various weapons such as hoes, shovels, axes and swords. There would also be varying types of zombies like zombie villagers and baby zombies including a rare zombie horse rider. They would all stay in a thick compact formation and if too spread out, they would in groups. Some ways to rid of them are fireworks in crossbows, tnt, lava, piercing crossbows, sweeping edge swords, etc. They wouldent spawn near villagers and wont spawn near players (they will spawn atleast 100 blocks away). These horde zombies would drop more loot such as iron, gold, flint, nuggets, food, tools, armor and more. For example, 100 zombies might drop a quarter stack of iron and maybe 10 gold and maybe even a diamond and maybe perhaps a stack of potatoes. Zombie hordes would also attack animals such as horses, sheep, cows, rabbits, llamas and more. I hope you like this. It would be cool too see and would be very loot filled. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 02:57 PM PDT Getting straight to the point, cake that acts similarly to suspicious stew. When a slice of Suspicious cake is eaten it will give you different effects depending on what flower you used to craft it. Each slice last a set amount of time (that's not stackable, so you can't eat the entire cake and get lets say 3 more seconds for each slice). To craft the cake, you would just have to put cake and a suspicious stew together in a crafting table to combine them, or, the normal cake crafting recipe but the egg is replaced with suspicious stew. I think a suspicious stew cake would be a fun element in pvp arenas, like there's a bunch of suspicious cake on the floor and the people fighting have to figure out which ones are good effects and which ones are bad, and use them to their advantage. Since it's also a better version of suspicious stew, it can be a bit more useful to leave around your base and eat quickly without having to wait for the eating animation. There is also kind of a down side, since it has to be placed down each time to be eaten you can't move it around. Since suspicious stew has a bit of green/purple on it, I edited a picture of the cake texture to show what I think it should look like (sorry for it being the old texture, couldn't find the new one :/ ) I also put pictures of the crafting recipes I mentioned earlier I thought I posted pictures along with it, but I can't seem to access that right now so here's a link to imgur with with the aforementioned pictures [link] [comments] |
How to make it harder to sell Piglins their own gold - Hallmarked Gold Posted: 12 Sep 2020 10:36 AM PDT So, right now anyone with even a bit of skill can easily get lots of Piglin loot by looting the Gold Blocks found in Bastions, splitting them into ingots and giving them to the Piglins. If the Piglins are supposed to be intelligent creatures in the 'lore', which it seems they are, it stands to reason they might want some way to stop that happening. So, hallmarking. Hallmarking is the practise of imprinting identifying marks on a piece of precious metal to identify it. I suggest that all gold items and blocks found in Piglin Bastions, and possibly a small minority of those found at Ruined Portals, should be hallmarked. Hallmarked gold could look the same, or it could have some kind of pattern visibly imprinted on it. If you try to barter hallmarked gold with a Piglin, either it'll make an annoyed noise and take it, not giving you anything in return, or it'll attack, since it thinks (probably correctly) that you stole from it. Converting hallmarked gold between its three states of nuggets, ingots and blocks would yield hallmarked gold. It would be possible to de-hallmark gold, by smelting it in a furnace to melt it down and remove the markings etched into it. This would only work on ingots. This would make it more difficult to cheese Bastions; though it'd still be very possible to steal Piglin gold and sell it back to them, there would be the intermediate stage of having to melt it down, which would put a cost in time and resources on this. There should be a sub-biome of desert without cacti/dead bushes and with far less water. Posted: 12 Sep 2020 02:52 PM PDT Perhaps call it a barren or desolate desert and make it just a bit rarer than normal deserts. A very small change, but it would be great for building in and give a nice bit of atmosphere compared to the normal desert biomes. [link] [comments] |
Potion of stamina that increases attack speed Posted: 12 Sep 2020 09:39 AM PDT The ingredient could be a honey bottle, and it lasts for 1 minute, 2 minutes if added redstone [link] [comments] |
Double clicking crouch should make you crawl. Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:04 PM PDT I think this would improve the way the crawling mechanic works. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 05:27 AM PDT After the 1.16 Nether Update it feels as if the old Nether Fortresses, which have been almost unchanged since the 1.0 Release, are bland and out of place. Here are some features Mojang should add to make them more interesting compared to the Piglin Bastions. (Note: these suggestions might have been posted before, and I apologise if I accidentally stole someone else's ideas, but here are my takes on the subject) Better loot: the loot from fortress chests is disappointing compared to that from bastions. Apart from horse armour, a few gold ingots, flint and steel, obsidian and 1 or 2 diamonds, there is really nothing valuable which players could look forward to grab. The game should really generate more useful or rare items, such as ancient debris, netherite ingots, arrows, (enchanted?) armour, tools or even wither skeleton heads. If the bastions have armour and tools, it makes no sense for the fortresses to lack them. More interesting structure generation: The fortresses are a boring maze of straight passages completely built out of Nether bricks. Some lore about the origin of fortresses suggest how they used to be inhabited by piglins, so they should really be built of a mixture of nether bricks and blackstone. Mojang should really also add more complex staircases or more winding sections like those in the bastion remnants. And if you look at pictures of ancient fortresses they have towers, round sections with spiral staircases and also hallways with rooms and cells. Mojang should take some ideas from the woodland mansions (eg. meeting rooms, statues, farming rooms) and implement them in the nether fortresses. Another huge difference between the bastions and fortresses is how the bastions seem very old and worn-down while the fortresses look pristine. Im not saying the fortresses should be as dilapidated as the bastions are, but they should have a few blocks missing here and there (or entire sections missing to look as if it fell into lava) to make it look old and crumbling. New Wandering Trader Type: Ocean Wanderer Posted: 12 Sep 2020 08:06 AM PDT The Wandering Trader was added back in 1.14 but has found lots of hate through the Minecraft community. I agree with them. Their trades are overexpensive and worthless. I recently had an idea (sorry if this has been posted before, I have never seen it myself) of a second trader type, the Ocean Wanderer. This wandering trader would be able to sell you seagrass, kelp, nautilus shells, and coral for much cheaper than the normal wandering trader. He would also be able to sell you prismarine or prismarine shards for 1 emerald per, (12 trades max), and tridents (between 1%-49% durability, 20% chance of having a level 16-30 enchant, with treasure enchants) for 21-64 emeralds each, depending on durability and enchantments. Is this balanced? Is this too OP or not OP enough? Tell me what you think! [link] [comments] |
Add a new creeper type- rambler Posted: 12 Sep 2020 08:32 AM PDT Both zombies and skeletons have 3 different types, but creepers only have 2- those being charged creepers and normal creepers. My idea is to add a new kind of creeper, one that is found in snowy areas, and caves. This creeper is called the rambler. It will be a dark grey-ish blue type of creeper, that has an open mouth. When near you, it runs at you. It's explosion is the same as a creeper's, but it also does slowness damage. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 03:56 AM PDT Villagers have three a maximum of three traits depending on if their employed or a nitwit. The traits are Working, Agility, and Gossiping. When a villager spawns from being cured from a zombie villager that has never been a villager before or when a villager naturally spawns from a village or igloo, a number is randomly selected from 1 to 5. If the selected number is higher, the amount of something will be higher too. If two villagers breed, there's a 45% chance for each parent to pass their trait number to the baby and a 10% for a different number. Working: Restocks more often then other villagers if the villager is employed if the number is higher for this. Agility: If the villager is running from a threat (zombie or illager), when a raid happens, or when it starts raining, the villager will run faster if the number is higher for this. Gossiping: Gossips more during town meetings, such as if the villager was hit if the number for this trait is higher. Also Nitwits don't have Working and Gossiping traits due to obvious reasons. There's also no direct way to tell the number for a villager's trait. [link] [comments] |
The angry zombie, a zombie who have the ability to sprint. Posted: 12 Sep 2020 01:23 PM PDT In Minecraft, zombies are very easy to kill by the fact that they don't appear really in group often and that they are very slow. This is why, why not a new type of zombie, the angry zombie. Angry Zombie :An Angry zombie will be a zombie who have red eyes and a furious look. He will be faster than a normal zombie, he will be fast like a baby zombie, do more damage, and will have more Hp than them. Spawn Rate difficulty :Easy difficulty : 0% chance that an angry zombie and angry baby zombie appears Normal difficulty : 1/5 zombies are angry. Hard difficulty : 2/4 zombies are angry / 2/5 baby zombies are angry. Note : The baby zombie can be angry too, but they will be more rare than a baby zombie , for example they will be almost fast as the player and they will inflict more damage and have more HP than a regular baby zombies. The player will be still faster than them when he will run. It won't be a problem since it will be in hard difficulty only that the angry baby zombies appears. Angry zombies will give the same items as normal zombies when eliminated, but they will give twice as many experience points. If you think it's too difficult, it won't be since the zombies are one of the easiest mobs, you can still easily avoid them by escaping with blocks, the player will be still more fast than them, more you will advance in the game, more the player will literally kill them in one hit or two. The player can just sleep too or change the difficulty at any moments. [link] [comments] |
An Enchantment For Gleaning XP Posted: 12 Sep 2020 01:14 PM PDT I don't know what it's name could be, but there could be an enchantment that increases your XP yield. Like Fortune or Looting, but for XP orbs instead of items, incompatible with Mending. I understand this might not fit well with Minecraft's lore around XP, (to help that, the item could require some kind of magical maintenance, maybe the application of a temporary enchantment, to keep the enchantment) but if anyone wants to use or likes this idea, I'm putting it out there. Posted: 12 Sep 2020 07:09 AM PDT Food Type:Poisonous Crafting:By placing an apple in the middle of a crafting table and placing a spider eye next to it,it would make a poison apple with a poison effect lasting for ten seconds, and by adding more spider eyes, the effect will last longer and become more deadly, but for every spider eye you add the more poisonous it will look, appearing as a green apple with black gunk in the shape of a skull on it at the full eight, you can also make them by pouring poison potion into a cauldron and dunking an apple into it,turning it into a tier eight poison apple and useing up the potion. Obtaining:Other ways of getting a poison apple is by killing a witch and having a chance of dropping one with a random level of poison, you can also find them in abandon villages, sunken ships, ocean ruins. Other mechanics:if you try to make a golden apple out of any level poison apple,it wont work, you can purifier an apple by dunking it into a potion of instant health, you can zombifie thing by doing the unzombification processes but using a level eight poison apple,(your idea here). If you think it needs balancing or you have an idea, let me know in the comments [link] [comments] |
Warped Fungus on a stick and/or Warped Fungus(on hand) should also repel Hoglins Posted: 12 Sep 2020 02:51 AM PDT Hoglins were supposed to be afraid of warped fungus so this feature should be a thing. If items can attract mobs like wheat and fish, how come there are things that can't repel mobs? The warped fungus is one of them. I might sound mad but I'm just wondering only... (Idk what flair is more appropriate for this suggestion) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 07:07 AM PDT Knowing that the spiders in real life can send webs over their prey , it would make sense that spiders in Minecraft send web too. The idea is that when a spider see a player she will sends webs on him and after she will attack in melee the player, spiders can throw a web again if the players manage to get out, but After I know that some people will find it will make spiders more difficult, that's why I suggest in hard mode only. Building an Iron Golem upside should have it spawn upside down Posted: 12 Sep 2020 02:10 PM PDT I know it won't be important at all but I think it would be cool if you could build an iron golem upside down and it would spawn like that without a name tag needed, also if you name it dinnerbone, it will be right side up, but still say dinnerbone, and naming it something else, for example Tyrone, it would have the name Tyrone and still be upside down. Now building a wither upside down on the other hand... [link] [comments] |
Posted: 12 Sep 2020 07:21 AM PDT hello i think mojang should add a colorblind mod so that colorblind people (like me) can differenctiate color more easily i come from a project to make a texture pack for colorblind people (protan like me) and this pack is very good and very useful(it's not public yet) i would hope that mojang add a colorblind mode of somesort in the settings of the game so that it's easier to see.
