We have a heavy focus on community; running weekly events, organizing enormous group projects, letting our players vote on all new changes/additions, and more. To keep our server safe from players who seek to troll or grief, we employ a whitelist process that is reviewed by the Admin team. LINKS:OUR FOUNDING PHILOSOPHIESThis part is a little wordy I admit, but these are the fundamental 5 pillars that hold our server up and govern every decision we make. These will always be upheld and used to judge any potential additions or changes in Dominion's future. The Vanilla ExperienceWe are committed to preserving the vanilla Minecraft experience. We will never add any game modes and we will never add any plugins which fundamentally make the game different, easier, or harder than vanilla. You will never see plugins such as mcMMO or rankings on our server. In addition, while Dominion does provide a Donator rank, this is purely for players who wish to give back and help fund the server. Donators do not and will not ever receive any benefits beyond priority access to a full server. TransparencyWe do not keep any secrets! We think it is important for our players to know where their money is being spent and ensure that every penny goes toward running the server and not somebody's grubby back pocket. We will always share how much we make in donations, as well as all associated costs with the running of the server. We are also completely transparent about any community issues that may arise such as dismissal of staff, banning of influential players, and integrity changes to how the server functions. Community VoiceWe always pride ourselves on listening to our community. We welcome feedback and honest opinions and are continuously improving our server and community because of your feedback. If we are ever going to make a change or addition to dominion (be it a new plugin, config change etc) then we run a poll where every member of the community gets to cast a vote. Polled content/changes only take effect if the community votes at a majority 75% approval rating. To help foster our close community, we run weekly events, every week for both US and EU time zones. SoftSlayer has been around for 9 years now, with a pretty dedicated community that still plays a bunch of games together (obviously including Minecraft). PvP is disabled (we have a custom PvP arena to scratch your PvP itch), griefing is not allowed (mods will rollback if you get griefed) and you can lock your chests. This server has my custom modpack, Hysteria 3, that is not public just yet on the twitch launcher. The pack has around 190 mods and includes mods like Thermal Expansion, NuclearCraft, Blood Magic, Thaumcraft, the Betweenlands and much more! Basically a really good all around pack that has a bit of everything for everyone! On the server we have also developed a bit of an economy where players can use Uncraftable TE coins to purchase items/services from player made shops around spawn. Even though we do have this going on, you arent forced to partake and you can do your own thing. The world is BRAND NEW. To Download and play Hysteria 3, we will provide a zip folder for you to import into a twitch or multicMC instance. Its very simple! The pack will be available on twitch very soon though! The server has 12gb of ram and will be hosted in Montreal, Canada using PebbleHost. I have two realms - a creative realm which I have built up for over six years and a brand new SMP, both of which are active. We use a whitelist administration process to filter who we allow onto the server. It can be found in our #how-to-apply channel on discord. This application will help us figure out who to admit! Take it seriously and answer honestly and there should not be a problem! Moderators and the owner are responsible for reviewing applications! In addition, we use coreprotect which is a very effective anti-grief plugin. We have helpers and moderators equipped with the knowledge of land recovery to keep players feeling safe. We have started a brand new map and we do not plan on resetting anytime soon, now is a perfect time to join. The server is only a little over a MONTH old! Continuity Craft's Mission Statement and Transparency We are going to provide you a great experience through vanilla Minecraft. That is our goal. Staff and Ranks On our server you an equal member of the community, everything we know you deserve to know. We do have an option to donate, and we have donator ranks. There is no in game items or commands provided to these players. Donators head's are placed at spawn and they are given a colored name. Well then what do donators get? Donators receive a colored name based on the rank they provide. MVP is orange and VIP is light blue. We have just recently added cosmetic crate keys which the community is very excited about! We have two ranks: MVP: $5.00 monthly VIP: $2.50 monthly The prices of these ranks are capped very low because we do not want a large amount of money from any singular player. We want the experience to be as low cost as possible for as many players as possible so by employing this donation system most players can play for free and those that do wish to support us do not have to pay much. We will always share how much we have received in donations and even how we are deciding to spend it. In addition, we are completely transparent about any dilemmas regarding media influencers, high ranked staff, or any fundamental changes within the server. Your Voice Matters! Any changes to the server will be run through our community. No changes through executive decision will be made. The owner and staff agree that what is best for the server is what the majority decides. Big changes will be broadcasted to the community and feedback through polling and vocal opinions will be heavily considered. So it's a vanilla server, what is the big deal? What makes Continuity Craft different? Continuity Craft is a vanilla server. That being said, what makes Continuity Craft the best place to spend your time is due to how our community operates. One block is roughly equal to 1 Kilometer in real life. You can claim land, make your own nations and battle it out to claim your territory or travel the world in peace. The world size is 43008×21504 (924,844,032) Blocks in size (that's three MILLION chunks!). Because of how big the map is, we've thrown the best hardware we could find at this server and optimised every piece of the server software to reduce lag as much as possible. We have chunk claiming built-in alongside anti-cheat so that MCCubed is truly a fun and safe place to play.
