Enhancing enchanting with pottery Posted: 26 Mar 2021 02:00 AM PDT Pottery was announced to be added with 1.17 update. It would be cool if we could put pottery next to enchanting table (similar to bookshelves) and depending on what ceramic shards the pottery is made of it would have some effects on the enchanting table. like:
I think this would enhance the late game gameplay. The players would need to explore the world, and search for specific ceramic shards too get some unique enchantments. You can aslo vote for this idea here on Minecraft Feedback! [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 05:31 AM PDT Add potions into dungeon chests. Not all, only: heal, water breathing, fire resistance and night vision. Rare, like a enchanted apple. That little detail must increase interest of players to potions. [link] [comments]
Players should be able to bang on doors Posted: 26 Mar 2021 11:34 AM PDT Doors are meant to be knocked on, so why can't a player knock on them? Zombies can (though it's more of a bang), so players should definitely be able to. The sound would be initiated by trying to break it, so just punching it briefly, without holding down to mine it. Ghasts pulled into the Overworld should make them happy. Posted: 26 Mar 2021 01:10 PM PDT When you do the Uneasy Alliance advancement, it should make the ghasts happy. Ghasts shouldn't be aggressive, or sad in the overworld, the texture could change just a slight bit to make them seem happier. The voices that they make should become more uplift and happy. This would give some kind of reason for the advancement, and it would be really cool to keep the ghasts in some glass containers. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 04:36 AM PDT Calamari would make for a good, easily renewable food, especially in the early stages of the game if you happen to spawn in an ocean biome, or near a river. Like the other meats, calamari should be able to be cooked. [link] [comments]
Minecraft needs more challenges for strong endgame players Posted: 26 Mar 2021 07:59 AM PDT I think what makes Minecraft successful is that it's an everything game. If you get bored of one activity, like building bases for example, you can do the others, such as adventuring and combat. The first time you play as a Minecraft noob is especially exciting, the fear of the first night is unforgettable. A bit of horror here and there is what makes games like Minecraft, FNAF, Among Us, or Undertale so popular, spawning creepypastas like Herobrine. But unfortunately, once you're a veteran that has upgraded your character, defeated the 2 bosses of Minecraft (two bosses is VERY lacking!), and explored the measly amount of large structures this game has to offer, things start to become boring. There's nothing left to fear. The only thing left for me to do is to build, which can get boring. People usually quit the game after defeating the dragon and getting the elytra. Minecraft needs actually BIG dungeons for strong endgame players, filled with loot and challenging mobs. Such challenges can be easily avoided by new players. Perhaps a dangerous dungeon structure below the bedrock level of the Nether. The Nether and End surprisingly lacks tough "miniboss" mobs. Minecraft needs more things to grind, such as variety in equipment, or magic/artifacts like in Minecraft Dungeons. These give variety to a player's character build, and a reason to do said challenges. I hope Minecraft can continue to stay relevant over the years, giving exciting, daring updates! And I hope Minecraft can include popular community ideas. Don't be afraid of being unoriginal sometimes. And don't be stagnant, else you'll lose to competition like Hytale, which seems to have a lot of things Minecraft players wanted but couldn't get. The Warden seems to be a nice addition, and I hope it's as powerful as it's hyped up to be! [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Mar 2021 05:53 PM PDT With the new aquifers generating, it would really add some ambiance to them and make some of the mineshafts a bit harder to navigate. It would really add to the adventure of caving. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 06:18 AM PDT Dungeons have been looking the same for years. A cobblestone box with a spawner and 2 chests. It would fit if in the cave update they updated the Dungeons. I'd suggest a diffrent themed dungeons in diffrent biomes. They should contain more traps and you will have to get through the mobs spawning and traps to get to the chests containing better loot then usual. Diffrent mob spawners in each biomes for example Zombies/Skeletons/Spiders in plains, Husk in the desert,Stray in ice biome, Drowned in the dungeons under ocean. If you have any more ideas write them down in the comments I'd like to see them. [link] [comments]
Aggressive iron golems are pacified by repairing them with an iron ingot. Posted: 25 Mar 2021 09:38 PM PDT don't you hate it when you accidentally punch an iron golem (or you hit one on purpose and his ironclad figure is too much for you to handle)? I think this is a really logical way to solve that problem. [link] [comments]

Villagers give you worse trades if they don't sleep Posted: 26 Mar 2021 11:38 AM PDT (I assume this is the right flare) If villagers that have jobs don't sleep, it makes their trades much worse. It's quite simple and not very unique, but atleast it will make people have to build proper spaces for villagers to live in. [link] [comments]
Connecting & Un-Connecting Glass Texture by Sneaking ( minor but game changer ) ✨ Posted: 26 Mar 2021 05:12 AM PDT People have been asking for this feature for years
My idea is to make Glass Texture Customable by using Sneak feature – The same mechanic that Pointed Dripstone has. So first, Glass texture should connect with each other naturally. But then the cool thing is, by sneaking, you can make the glass you placed ( while sneaking ) unconnect with other glass. Simple. 🌼 Those small features will seem minor but actually a game changer that gives players so many more possibilities in building aspect, especially for builders. Posted: 25 Mar 2021 09:20 PM PDT Husks are sand-themed, with their golden skin color. Therefore, husks should drop sand as a rare drop. We already have iron as a rare drop from zombies, gold from drowned. Even though husks won't drop a mineral item, it would still be fantastic if husks could also have a rare, unique drop. In this case, husks have a 1 in 4 chance of dropping sand. [link] [comments]
Don't make cauldrons empty buckets in creative. Posted: 26 Mar 2021 01:51 AM PDT I saw in bug report someone reported about the latest pre-release if you right click a cauldron in creative it will empty your bucket. The moderators responded that this is not a bug but a feature. Please mojang. Don't put this in the game. Remove this feature before the release comes out. It would be very painful making a redstone contraption using cauldrons and then having to get a new bucket every single time you fill one. [link] [comments]
Challenge: Legend of the village. Posted: 26 Mar 2021 04:10 AM PDT Description: Legends never die! Image: Emerald block. Tab: Adventure. Parent: Hero of the village. Requirements: Complete a level 5 raid without dying. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 04:05 AM PDT my idea for invisible ink would be the following: surrounding 1 potion of invisibility with 8 ink sacs, gives you 9 invisible ink sacs. These invisible ink sacs can be used to create invisible item frames, in survival. I'm aware that the invisible item frame command exists, but some builders might want some frames to be visible, others not so much. [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Mar 2021 07:45 AM PDT About 1 month ago user DannyBoyThomas posted a video about his hole filling AI mod. I thought that it'd be great if same AI was applied for Endermen. The mess they do is very annoying and it's a perfect way to fix it. Any Creeper hole would get naturally filled in couple of days. What do you think? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 03:31 PM PDT Barbed wire would be crafted with 4 chain surrounding an iron bar. It would act as if it was a cobweb but deal damage aswell. This is a simple feature but I think it'd be a cool addition to the game. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 05:58 AM PDT first of all, improve furnace minecarts. make them able to run for longer at a higher speed (even faster when going down a hill, slower when going up one. also make them able to push other minecarts, making a sort of "train". you can use any fuel you want, as long as it works with regular furnaces. they'll burn for as long as they do in regular furnaces. also add a new minecart called a "connector minecart, crafted by combining a slime block with a minecart. you can attach blocks to this minecart, and they will stay while it moves. they'll make the minecart stop if they press against one that isn't connected to a minecart. also, a lot of people have been requesting jukebox minecarts, this might be a simpler solution. let me know what you think, this might not be perfect. (also might not have the correct flair) [link] [comments]
Copper should be a different variant of iron, just like wood variants. Posted: 26 Mar 2021 05:22 AM PDT It should be used as a replacement for iron in different crafting recipes to add some variaty! It can be used in almost all recipes that use iron. Using wax of course will stop the corrosion.

Posted: 26 Mar 2021 01:36 PM PDT I have a nasty feeling this'll have been suggested before but I can't find it anywhere so here we go I like the idea of having nether themed tools/stuff, and with talk (aka everyone begging for) of an end update, I feel like having a late game netherite alternative would be cool. Similar to how netherite armour is just diamond with better durability and some custom stats, enderite armour would have the same defence as diamond but with magic resistance and something to slightly increase the immunity period (by 0.125 second per piece) (0.5 second increase, up to 1 full second, with full armour), and the same durability as diamond. Tools would be the same durability/damage/speed as netherite. And of course, netherite has this useful feature where it doesn't burn in lava, so enderites upside is that it's as enchantable as gold stuff To get it, you mine crystal shards, which you craft with five of them with 2 lapis into an Ender crystal, which can be applied to diamond gear on a smithing table similar to netherite. And yeah that's it pretty unimaginative but there you go [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2021 12:50 PM PDT Desert Temples have been the same for quite a lot of time. It's still a really good structure to find with a lot of nice loot inside of it. But there's still some ways they can be improved. Here's some of my ideas that I would love to be added to the Desert Temples.
4.Mobs protecting the Temple: The desert temple doesnt have any mobs protecting it (except the hostile mobs that spawn inside because of the low light level) and it would be cool if there's a lot of husks in the temple protecting it's loot from being stolen. It would make Desert Temples much more dangerous and challenging to loot. At the end of the Desert Temple it should hold the best loot but also a really strong new mob. It can have diffrent attacks and would be hard to kill. I don't have many ideas for what drops it would have but if someone has an idea please write it down in the comments I would love to see your ideas.
6.A curse of some kind: It would be cool that if you steal from the Desert Temple you would get a kind of curse ( similiar to Bad Omen). It cannot be cleared with milk and it should cause bad luck to the player who has the effect. For example worse fishing loot. Some items from the structure chest would dissapear. More chance of getting struck by lightning. The player would have weaker attacks and less resistance against other attacks. These are all ideas I came up with but if you also got an a idea make sure to write it in the comments. Hope you like what I came up with. [link] [comments] |
