In 1.17, Mineshafts should have raw iron/gold in the chests instead of ingots Posted: 08 Apr 2021 09:20 AM PDT When you first mine iron or gold, you now get raw iron/gold. So i feel like changing the loot table for the mineshaft to have raw materials rather than fully smelted would make more sense. My reasoning is that the minecart is just a collection system to take the ore up to the surface to smelt so it should be in raw form while in the minecart [link] [comments]
Pick-blocking lava and water should give you their respective bucket items Posted: 08 Apr 2021 04:49 AM PDT It has been annoying getting lava and water in the inventory when you need it, especially in creative mode. When you need a water bucket, you always have to go to the inventory even if there's water near you that you can just pick-block but you can't. This feature should help players in survival mode so that they don't have to use up their whole hotbar just to place all the water they have when making a pond or just filling something with water, the same goes with people who use lava. This should also fix the inconsistency between the powder snow bucket among the other liquid-filled buckets where you can pick-block powder snow and it will give you the bucket item of it but water and lava will not. This could also work with buckets of fish and axolotls though but only in survival mode though as you can pick-block them in creative mode to get their respective spawn eggs, they can consider this but again I cannot see this as being efficient for the player. Just pointing out, though. A small feature but a very useful one, I hope this gets added. It would be very useful to have this feature in the game. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Apr 2021 06:01 AM PDT In the Java Snapshot 21w13a, the end had an interesting generation bug that created some plateau-like land. I think it would be cool to see that back in the game some time as some kind of biome for the end. Images: https://imgur.com/a/2MhaUcS [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Apr 2021 10:53 AM PDT The struggle of trying to get across water with a horse is unfathambly unbearable. Just imagine how great it would be if we could add FW to Horse Armor. I feel like this would be a great QoL improvement. [link] [comments]
Entity Tag for for entities using Tridents, Crossbows, and Bows. Posted: 08 Apr 2021 10:53 AM PDT Only skeletons can use bows, only pillagers can use crossbows, and only drowned can use tridents. I suggest that you be able to modify. To have a skeleton use a crossbow, simply update its hypothetical CanUseCrossbow tag using the /data merge entity command. The entity tags CanUseBow, CanUseCrossbow, CanUseTrident will be in Zombies, Skeletons, Wither Skeletons, Strays, Drowned, and Husks. Skeletons will still use bows be default, as will pillagers with crossbows and drowned with tridents; effectively in normal gameplay, this change is unnoticeable. All this will do is add a degree of map-making freedom, to create custom enemy mobs for example. [link] [comments]

Mesa mineshafts chests should contain more raw gold Posted: 08 Apr 2021 08:03 AM PDT I think it's a nice thing to see, because in Mesas there are more gold veins, and a reason to go in the Mesa more frequently. [link] [comments]
Screaming goats should be hearable from further distances Posted: 08 Apr 2021 08:11 AM PDT The loud sounds screamimg goats make should be faintly hearable by players who are close enough for it to be rendered and have no solid blocks above them. I think this would be pretty cool and an occasional fun thing to hear when living on or near a mountain. I also like this idea because it would give a similar vibe to the mountain levels in Minecraft Dungeons where you can occasionally hear goats screaming :) [link] [comments]
Spider don’t suffocate Jockeys Posted: 08 Apr 2021 10:06 AM PDT A small change, when a spider jockey climbs a wall, the spider should stop climbing when the skeleton is touching the ceiling instead of the spider. Spider jockeys are incredibly rare, and it's a waste having the spider simply kill the skeleton. [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Apr 2021 02:39 PM PDT I have noticed a lot of people wanting drones in Minecraft for easier item transportation but drones seem like they don't fit in Minecraft , but then as I was thinking it hit me, Messenger Pigeons! Messenger Pigeons:They would look like parrots but slightly smaller and comes in pigeon colors(they are really long names for their colors so search about them if you want but they look good trust me) Moving Messenger Pigeons:Messenger Pigeons will be moved from one place to another using a new block called the bird cage,it can be used to pigeons and parrots and can be placed on the ground or on a chain. Note:the longer the bird stays in the cage, the "sadder" it will be,meaning the bird will fly less ,fly slower ,and parrots will dance less when a music disc is playing in a juke box, this is for raising awareness about birds staying in cages ,even though birds living in cages may live longer than free birds due to health care but a bird being free in an apartment in still better than it being in a cage Nests:Messenger Pigeons will have nests that they consider their home which will spawn on trees in forests and can be picked up using silk touch, they will lay eggs(that can be picked up with silk touch) in their home nest when bred(using wheat seeds or bread) and will "sleep" in at night Item transportation:Messenger Pigeons will link to two pigeon posts,a block which pigeons can pick up from or drop items in, they can hold up to 3 pigeons at a one time, to make pigeons hold items you must right click on them with a new item crafted with a lead and a piece of leather(I can't find a name for it even though I searched) this new item would give the pigeon an inventory space of 3 slots that you can put stuff in or take stuff out , if the pigeon's inventory is empty it won't go anywhere except its nest when it's night, you can use hoppers on pigeon posts, putting a hopper on top will automatically put items in the pigeon's inventory while putting a hopper under pigeon posts will take items put by pigeons in I will put the link for the feedback post on the website in the comments [link] [comments]
Usable lanterns during exploration. Posted: 08 Apr 2021 03:08 PM PDT (First post here, so apologies for any confusion). Something like this: Lantern + fishing rod= hanging lantern. Useable during exploration, similar to using fishing rod (or carrot on a fishing rod), when right clicked the lantern activates and can be used as a light source while travelling, rather than stopping and placing a lantern. Another idea: Lantern + fishing rod + tripwire hook= placeable hanging lantern. Could be used for atmosphere. Would be placed on a boat, and can be used when using a boat during the night, (boat mounted light source). [link] [comments]

You should be able to dye sheep when they are sheered Posted: 08 Apr 2021 03:47 PM PDT Honestly I don't get why this isn't in the base game. I have an automatic wool farm but I needed more of a specific color today, so I wanted to quickly dye some other coloured sheep I use less into that color. You can't do this while they are already sheered though, and if you understand how automatic wool farms work you probably see how annoying this is! It's such a simple fix I think they can just implement it rather quickly. By the color of its head you can still see what color the sheep is originally. [link] [comments]
Add plants characteristic of the mountains Posted: 08 Apr 2021 04:52 AM PDT When you go hiking in Minecraft sometimes, you'll see dandelions and poppies there. But in real life, such flowers are not found in the mountains. So I suggest adding mountain plants. For example, edelweiss, alpine bells, bitterness, willow veins, etc. in my opinion are needed to make the mountains even more realistic, especially as their update is coming. It's all from me. Piglins should give you 9 items straight after giving them golden block Posted: 08 Apr 2021 07:21 AM PDT They're taking only ingots, but if they would take blocks, that could be more efficient [link] [comments]
Firetick don't stall y-axis changes Posted: 08 Apr 2021 08:22 AM PDT Currently, if you jump while on fire and get a firetick mid-jump, it will reset your upwards velocity and make your jump useless. Even if you were on fire irl, you would fall normally. Of course, you wouldn't be able to actually start a jump during a firetick, but getting one in the middle of a jump shouldn't do anything. EDIT: A fire tick is the one tick when you're on fire where you cannot move. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Apr 2021 01:44 PM PDT Dead leaves would be a like a carpet that behaves like Snow Layers, being able to stack it. They can be crafted into blocks by putting 4 layers into a 2×2 crafting grid. They can be obtained either from a leaf block decaying, with a 45% chance of dropping, or in patches of 5-7 in the Deep Dark. The item needed to break them quickly would of course, be a hoe. When stacked, you would be able to walk through them, or fall through them, like powdered snow, except there is no way to prevent this. Walking on them would produce a loud crunching sound, being able to alert the Warden from a maximum of 30 blocks away. Falling, or moving through them would do the same. Both the layer, and the block can be used in a composter, with the layer having a 45% chance of adding to the composter, and the block having an 85% chance. [link] [comments]

Armorers should be able to equip themselves and other villagers with armor Posted: 08 Apr 2021 11:20 AM PDT Villagers apparently are not allowed to be able to attack mobs, but could we compromise, by letting villagers protect themselves with armor? Armor that would NOT drop when the villager dies, of course [link] [comments]
Sunflowers should always face the direction of the sun Posted: 08 Apr 2021 04:18 PM PDT Like what was stated in the title, the head of the sunflower should begin to rotate when it becomes daytime and stop when it becomes night, the sunflowers should then reset to face the sunrise again. I'm unsure why this feature wasn't added initially as giving it a bit more personally can really bring it to life. [link] [comments] |
