    Pre prepared signs

    Posted: 05 May 2021 03:26 AM PDT

    A very simple idea.

If you rename a sign, in an anvil, the same text will be displayed after placing it down.

Signs have a word limit much smaller then anvils, so sadly, it would have to cut it short if the name given is too long.

    Night Vision for Beacons

    Posted: 04 May 2021 11:07 PM PDT

    Night Vision for Beacons

Night Vision would be very beneficial to the beacon's arsenal. This can help out people with build projects or full visibility within an area.

Resistance would be nerfed to be placed at Primary Power Tier 3, while Night Vision replaces the position of resistance in Primary Power Tier 2.

    MEGA GEODES

    Posted: 05 May 2021 12:38 PM PDT

A rare naturally generated structure. A geode that is at least 60 block is diameter.

Imagine the thrill of finding a Geode big enough to build a house in!! It might be big enough to considered it own biome.

It would be rare but a truly special find.

Randomise where pressure plates are put in the desert temple

    Posted: 05 May 2021 10:00 AM PDT

I might've accidently blown myself up once or twice, way back in 2012 when these were new.

Today, I am no longer 12, but 21, and I can honestly say that desert temples pose zero threat whatsoever to me.

What's the point in even having the tnt, if everyone knows to just, not land in the middle? A simple solution, is to have it so that any of the 9 blocks of floor in the treasure room have a chance of having a pressure plate on it. That way, the way you handle the temple is different every time, and has more potential to end poorly.

Rather than make the desert temple in to multiple structures, just having the pressure plates generate similarly to flowers or mushrooms do I should think would do the trick.

    Olive trees

    Posted: 05 May 2021 07:59 AM PDT

Olive trees could function as a food source in the desert, dropping olives the way that oaks drop apples. Olives could be used for food or combined with a glass bottle to make olive oil, a substance that could be used to make surfaces oiled. This would have the same effect as ice, where stopping time is increased and characters move with less control, but it would allow people to apply the effect to other blocks (or at least to wood and stone type blocks)

    Chocolate milk

    Posted: 05 May 2021 05:25 AM PDT

Chocolate milk would be crafted with putting sugar, coco beans, and milk into a crafting table.

Chocolate milk would work the same as milk, but will only clear negative status effects.

Also you could craft chocolate cakes by replacing the milk in the cake recipie, with chocolate milk.

    High Risk High Reward Curses

    Posted: 05 May 2021 03:08 AM PDT

Curses are negative enchantments that get in the way of the user, you cant remove them with the grindstone either, as of right now there are two known curses, Binding which only goes on armor which prevents you from removing it and Vanishing, which makes the item disappear when you die.

Now technically you could say Vanishing is great against enemy players, you dont want them to get your sick tools, weapons and armors when you die, but Binding is...useless, its impossible to not see that there is a big red text on the enchantment list that says "oh hey if you put this on you wont be able to take it off haha" so you could never trick someone into permanently wearing a piece of armor until they die or the armor breaks.

So, what about curses that have mixed effects? For example a curse working similarly to Sharpness, but is twice as strong, BUT! Here is the catch, you take twice as much damage as well!

This is only one example that i think many could come up with similar ideas, but it gives players a reason to wear and wield cursed equipment.

Straightshot enchantments for bows or crossbows

    Posted: 05 May 2021 01:12 PM PDT

Would partially (in levels) or fully (max level 1) eliminate effect of gravity on arrows

I guess it should partially eliminate arrows falling depending on level because fully eliminating it would be too OP and arrows would never fall down if you shot at the sky, causing lag issues

The Armor tiers should be tailored to be a specific playstyle

    Posted: 05 May 2021 01:44 PM PDT

    Leather Armor

A player who wears this probably hasn't explored the nether or underground that much. This would be armor for an Early game player. Due to its lack of protection, leather armor should give a boost to agility on certain blocks; grass, snow, gravel, and sand. These properties don't work under water. Agility would be nice for exploring the world in the early game. It would also help evade hostile mobs. A perfect armor set for that play style

Iron could also have a unique trait. The armor set will give an effect that will lessen the hits required to shield stun or shield crit. A passive ability that would make sense from a player in the mid game. When you get iron, you typically make a shield. The ability shouldn't be too OP, but just right.

Gold is an armor set that is only worn for Piglin bartering. The enchant-ability would be quite useful if it weren't for the durability. Truth is, the durability isn't the problem. Its the lack of reward for the risk. Gold is an armor set that should provide high reward for high risk. The perfect attribute for gold armor would be a luck boost. Imagine wearing a full set of gold armor to up the chances of higher blaze rod drops, wither skull drops, and Piglin bartering. This would fix the issues that some speed runners have with 1.16. The reliance of luck on the 1.16 route is insanely high. Gold armor could fix this while making the player more vulnerable. A perfect trade off. High risk = High reward.

Diamond should be the only exception to the rule. Its a classic and its base defense is enough by itself.

Netherite already has knock back, so it doesn't need a need a passive.

The wither should be the same on both versions

    Posted: 05 May 2021 06:12 AM PDT

The wither in bedrock edition is way harder to kill than the wither in java, so why not make them the same? Depending on the game difficulty on easy, the wither would be like the java wither, on normal, it will be like the java and bedrock combined (attacks like bedrock but instead of wither 2 itll be wither 1 for way less time and has 300 health (like java) and hard it will be the bedrock wither

You can take saddle from strider without killing the strider.

    Posted: 05 May 2021 01:14 PM PDT

Currently, you need to kill strider to get back your saddle, and that is very bad because what if you don't want to kill strider but get back your saddle?

I think Mojang should add ability to take off the saddle from striders by clicking right mouse button while holding Shift.

    Daylight hostile mobs

    Posted: 05 May 2021 02:40 AM PDT

Maybe add like a bear to rarely spawn in the general forest regions and a komodo dragon for savannahs which attacks other mobs & also players. Its behavior is tactical, so its not necessairily hostile immediately per se, perhaps until provoked but a 25-50% of them could be hostile when unprovoked, making savannahs one of the more dangerous and intimidating biomes.

Drops are not yet known. But perhaps a component to make immobilizing darts/arrows + the komodo attack would give the player a 10-15 fatigue/slowness effect that gradually increases while the komodo dragon pursues him, as is in the nature of the IRL komodo.

Similarly, snakes in deserts and jungles. Thoughts?

Wetness Effect, How it could legitimately work

    Posted: 05 May 2021 08:47 AM PDT

Currently the Splash Water Bottles that exist in-game are only good for putting out fires. What if they could do something else?

The Riptide Enchantment is very cool, its basically budget elytra. While it is raining.

What if using a Splash Water bottle on yourself gives the Wetness Effect, which is also applied when in water or rain. When leaving water, you begin losing the wetness effect. Now, Riptide works as long as you have the Wetness effect, not just with direct contact with water. What if splash water bottles gave a couple minutes of the Wetness Effect, allowing for use of Riptide during the day, as well as a few other side-affects:

    Extra Thorns damage to Endermen

Acts like poison damage for Endermen, Blazes, Magma Cubes, and Striders

Can be affected by the Impaling enchantment, giving it some offensive PVP use.

Drains faster in hotter biomes, as well as in the Nether.

In cold biomes, slowness is applied as well, since the water will get colder, somewhat nearly freezing you.

If you have any other ideas, put them in the comments!

    the super bomb dive achievement!

    Posted: 05 May 2021 12:10 AM PDT

the super bomb dive achievement can be obtained by falling into the water from more than 150 blocks in height

It could be a good achievement for 1.18, given the presence of very long vertical descents, which often reach underground lakes.

Edit: if you have better name ideas, don't be afraid to write them down in the comments!

    I accept suggestions!

Sea Pickles in a Jar as a light source

    Posted: 05 May 2021 02:55 PM PDT

You'd need to make glass and have sea pickles but then you could use it as a light source. Maybe the sea pickles in a jar are less bright than they would be if the sea pickles were in the actual ocean.

edit: forget to mention crafting would include a bucket of water. Obviously.

Give Minecraft a better Filipino translation

    Posted: 05 May 2021 04:21 AM PDT

I appreciate that Mojang created an official Filipino translation (although only for Java, which only a minority of Filipinos can buy). Please port the Tagalog version to Bedrock so that more players can play in the language. However, there are many English names left in the translation. Justified, as the Philippines was once colonized by the USA, but that would make the Filipino dub useless at all. Here are my suggestions:

Minecraft- Minalikha (mina means craft, likha means build)

    Creeper- Tagagapang (one who creeps)

    Enderman- Taong Wakas (End Person)

Ender Dragon- Dragon ng Wakas (End Dragon)

    Any more suggestions?

The best and funniest possible use for the Goat Horn

    Posted: 05 May 2021 11:40 AM PDT

When you blow into the goat horn, all nearby mobs should chaotically attack each other. This includes attacking the player. They would turn a little crazy a second and then return to normal after a second. I would love to see this in the game for the element of chaos it would bring. It makes sense given the goats are animals that ram and attack all types of entities. The Goat horn should definitely cause a frenzy.

    Royal honey

    Posted: 05 May 2021 04:30 AM PDT

Surround a honey bottle ,with 8 gold ingots, in a crafting table to craft; royal honey.

Royal honey would take twice as long to drink, and gives you the effect; "hero of the bees" for one minute.

This effect will make all nearby bees protect you from harm, and will not attack you if you hit them. But, when the effect wares off, all the effected bees would realize you've impersonated a queen bee, and start attacking you.

As for visuals, it could just be a honey bottle, with the enchantment effect. The effect icon could be a bee face, with the red ribbon from the hero of the village effect, underneath it.

I am unsure about the method of obtaining the royal honey, so I'd like help with that.

Snow layers should be placeable on powder snow

    Posted: 05 May 2021 06:16 AM PDT

This would make it far easier to make hidden powder-snow traps, and it makes sense (putting snow on snow seems like a reasonable thing to be able to do)

    Drawings

    Posted: 05 May 2021 08:35 AM PDT

We all know maps, you can walk around and fill them in to get an idea of a landscape onto something visible anywhere, but what if you could get more than the idea of a landscape?

Like a map, a drawing is a depiction of what you see, like an in game screenshot, when you right click an empty drawing item, it will start to fill in, you just have to look around the area a bit and the drawing will impose itself onto the paper like how the map does. Looking at specific points will draw that part faster.

Like maps, this isn't just a screenshot of what you're seeing, it uses colors that might not be entirely accurate to the actual world, again, like maps. It will also be more pixelated, being the same resolution as a map, and you can also expand it and make it in the cartography table.

Ordinarily, though, drawings are crafted with 4 paper in the corners with red, yellow, blue, and black dye in the center in any order (the primary colors + black,) and this will give you 4 drawings. In a cartography table, placing a paper and a dye of any of those 4 colors will give you a single empty drawing

You should mine slower in powdered snow

    Posted: 05 May 2021 07:40 AM PDT

Basically what the title says. It's way too easy to escape powdered snow and I think this would help make it more of a legitimate threat.

    my Minecraft potion ideas

    Posted: 05 May 2021 10:24 AM PDT

i think that the minecraft thick potions should have a use. what i am thinking is that thick potions should affect you character itself because it is thick for example a potion that makes small thing big like a baby sheep to a regular sheep or baby zombie to regular, or a potion that make mobs small for example it can make your animal small like a baby dog/cat . another idea is a potion that makes you not be able to have any other potion (almost like splash potion of milk that lasts).

i hope that mojang make new potion with thick potions.

also there need to be a potion flair
