The Server Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are mostly optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience. Adding dungeons, tiered loot, designated PvP area on the Overworld, and a new health system to gain hearts. ────── In-Depth────── Stonehaven SMP aims to improve the 'vanilla' experience of exploring, fighting, RPG progression, and grinding to give a more everlasting and unique experience of playing Minecraft. Many of us have played numerous servers that have the same vanilla "hermitcraft-like" SMP experience and I'm sure the community is quite acquainted with it. We have all experienced joining a server and forming a community in defeating the ender dragon. But afterward, it slowly dwindles down until the only three kinds of players that play are the builders with vast aspirations, the redstoners that maximize their farms to fill the economy, and veterans who stay for nostalgia. Once the economies are filled and all items become worth a single diamond the server loses incentive and is typically abandoned or needing a refresh. Our server also has open-world PvP, which gives players a chance to show off their PvP skills against other players on the server. This is in no way required, but it gives players more freedom and makes the server feel more vanilla.
