Pillager outposts should have woodland mansion maps as loot Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:05 AM PDT Outposts have no incentive to raid currently and it would make sense from a lore perspective. Edit: obviously it's a rare chance [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2021 09:55 AM PDT So in igloos, there are zombie villagers that you can turn back to a villager with the materials provided. most people know how to do this, but not many people from what i've seen know how to repair iron golems, so a little hint about how to do that would be nice. Chains should connect to each other Posted: 09 Jul 2021 10:13 AM PDT Horizontal and vertical chains should connect when meeting. It basically works like this, which was posted almost one year ago on the normal MC subreddit. In addition, when holding shift while placing, they will not connect (similar to dripstones). We do not have a block that acts like this in vanilla yet and it would open up a huge amount of building styles. Example: This would allow for a lot more creative uses, especially when building at an angle and wanting to have the chains fully connected. Like cables or something. [link] [comments]
Target blocks in pillager outposts Posted: 09 Jul 2021 11:40 AM PDT Stands with target blocks generate as extra mini-structures around pillager outposts. Pillagers sometimes train by shooting at them. The idea is simple but fun, in my opinion. [link] [comments]
Wandering traders should have a flower that can only be bought from them. Posted: 09 Jul 2021 01:03 PM PDT Wandering traders should have a small chance of having unique flower that can only be traded for from them and does not spawn anywhere naturally. This would just give wandering traders one unique item that's more just to show you got it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2021 12:04 PM PDT I know many people have wanted this but I wanted to say it again I think if there where biome specific wolf more people world travel and just like how if you go to a cold area you can find white snow foxes I think the same should go for wolfs. [link] [comments]
Animals should drop bones when you kill them. Posted: 09 Jul 2021 04:43 AM PDT Pretty self explanatory. They should drop bones when you kill them. You can already get bones pretty easily so I don't feel like this change would be overpowered. It just makes sense. [link] [comments]
Golden axes/swords must have faster swing speed Posted: 09 Jul 2021 10:43 AM PDT Well it's what the title says gold axes r kinda useless make that very useless so if we add faster swing speed it will be ummm less useless I guess. So that'll be cool for manhunts. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2021 11:50 AM PDT Onces you have obtained every music disc pigstep, cat, ward, etc. You could get an advancments called "Collector" [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2021 11:28 AM PDT So I'm playing late game, and have all the enchanted gear I need, mending on everything. I have over 60 levels and I usually don't need to use them for anything. So my suggestion is to be able to use all of those levels I have to mend all of my mending gear. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2021 02:41 PM PDT Title says it all. Piglins are not crazy about outsiders, especially those uncultured villagers that have no taste for gold. I think that because Iron Golems are hostile even to neutral Piglins, Piglins are natural enemies of the NPCs populating the Overworld. The event of a Villager and/or Illagers meeting a Piglin is rare so it would not be a drastic change. It would also be fun to bring Piglins into the overworld to shoot at Pillagers during raids. (There is similar suggestion to this outside of Reddit but that suggestion says that Piglins should only attack Illagers, not all NPCs) [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2021 02:52 PM PDT Currently there is no feature in Minecraft which rewards sleeping in the same location without breaking your bed. I think players should receive a bonus for having a permanent bed. This bonus could be a faster mining speed and/or strength. [link] [comments]
Minecarts on only powered rail should go as fast as boats on ice. Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:26 PM PDT Right now no one really uses minecarts since using ice boats is just so much faster. I think a minecart on just powered rail should go just as fast. Also crafting powered rail could give you slightly more rails. [link] [comments]
Effects given by Beacons should not have particles. Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:23 PM PDT It's kind of annoying having particles around your screen when you are near a beacon. I suggest just making beacons effects not give particles. I don't think it would be too hard since there is a way to get no particles with the /effect command. [link] [comments]
Shipwrecks should have a semi-randomly generated banner on them like a flag. Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:19 PM PDT I think it would be cool if shipwrecks had a random simple banner on them almost as a flag. It would just be for look but give the ships a little more uniqueness. [link] [comments]
New Music Disk That You Can Only Buy Rarely From Wandering Traders Posted: 09 Jul 2021 01:06 PM PDT There should be a new music disk that can only be bought from a wandering trader. Wandering traders would only have a 1.0% chance of having the disk and would cost 32-16 emeralds. It would be an item that would kind of just be to show off and show how long you have been in that world. It would also make finding a wandering trader more existing. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2021 01:48 AM PDT If the farmer has his own seeds, wheat, or carrots in their inventory, they should be able to breed the animals as well. It would be interesting if the villages automatically generated their own animal farms around them. Farmers should have the ability to bring the animals inside their own animal pen/farmhouse. Once there exists enough animals within the farmer's vicinity, they will stop breeding the animals. [link] [comments]
Making more tools useful for combat Posted: 09 Jul 2021 08:51 AM PDT I feel like just adding more weapons into the game can over complicate combat and make inventory management even worse. Instead of just adding new stuff, why don't we expand on existing things? In a previous post I made, I suggested an enchantment for pickaxes and shovels that applies brief slowness. Now instead of enchantments, I think the base items could use an overhaul. Here's what I was thinking Pickaxes can deal additional damage to shields, causing them to break far faster Shovels can deal a bit of extra knockback by default, and can be enchanted with knockback (I don't know how useful this will be) Hoes can now deal full damage in an area where you strike, like an earth shatter. Posted: 08 Jul 2021 09:37 PM PDT I think that villages should have a chance to be walled. These villages would be quite a bit larger than normal, as threats to growth are minimized, and they might have some larger buildings. The wall itself would be around 6 blocks high, a block or two thick, and have a large gate at one point in the wall. It would be slightly medieval style, with stone bricks and the relevant wood types. This could result in huge, sprawling villages, and in biomes with many hills, such as extreme hills or just regular hilly plains, could appear striking and provide some engagement in the world, to the player. The village could also appear more developed. The paths could be made out of planks, instead of path blocks, and potentially have a market square-type area with many workstation buildings in close succession. Mojang has proved that they want to show that time has affected the world; ruined portals, zombie villages, and abandoned mineshafts all show that. All of these things have suffered due to time, but what if something thrived? This could add to the lore, and it would show a positive part of an otherwise rather sad world, if you think about it. Suggestion involving structures Posted: 09 Jul 2021 09:17 AM PDT So, I really enjoy Minecraft, and my favorite thing to do is create new custom worlds with biomes and etc. But, I really wish there was a setting that allowed for the turning on and off of certain generations, like caves above a certain Y-axis. For me, I Love exploring mineshafts and strongholds but, find it incredibly annoying when the two of them crossover. So, maybe add a setting like the world setting menu, that way players can pick and chose what structures generate, how often, what y-axis, if they would cross over one another, or stop them from generating in. Pets should focus on targets that the glowing effect Posted: 09 Jul 2021 03:17 AM PDT I think is a pretty simple idea, when you hit an enemy whit a glowing arrow the dogs near you should focus on the target it could be a nice feature. [link] [comments]
Llamas should be able to carry jukeboxes and note blocks. Posted: 09 Jul 2021 12:59 PM PDT I just think it would be fun and a nice way to solve constantly going out of range of jukeboxes. [link] [comments]
