    Halloween-related content guidelines

    As you may have noticed, it's Halloween. Like every year, this means Minecraft presents some seasonal easter eggs, like mobs wearing carved pumpkins, a "spooky" splash text, and a lot more bats than usual. Posts about these topics fall under the Tired Submissions rule as usual. (This includes seasonal easter eggs from popular Minecraft mods, such as the Witch's Hat in OptiFine.)

    You may also notice a higher volume of posts about IRL pumpkin carving or people presenting Minecraft-related costumes. These posts will be tentatively allowed until November 1st 12pm UTC, which is when Halloween definitely is over for everyone.

    Moderators reserve the right to remove such posts if the relation to Minecraft is not the focus, e.g. costumes that happen to be Minecraft-related but are more about who wears it or how they are worn. Also, the Tired Submission section about Minecraft merchandise that is available for purchase still applies.
