Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:27 AM PST Enderman heads are dropped when a charged creeper kills an enderman. When looked at, they give off a redstone signal. [link] [comments]
Place snow and fence in the same block! (picture included) Posted: 26 Feb 2019 08:32 AM PST picture: https://imgur.com/a/hwxICva You can't place a snow layer in the fence currently. And i think it looks better. [link] [comments]
Flowing water becomes more "rough", or white, the farther it flows form the source block. Posted: 26 Feb 2019 11:52 AM PST This could be useful for creating the illusion or rapids/waterfalls in builds. Another great touch would be to increase the speed of the animated texture proportionally with it's distance from the source. Just imaging how much better flowing rapids or waterfalls could look! Posted: 26 Feb 2019 03:24 PM PST I know this has been suggested a few times most likely. But I believe it really needs more attention. Wood hoes should have the normal growth speed that is in use now and each upgrade subtracts 5 minutes from the growth speed. Not too significant but not to over powering since wheat takes approximately 50 minutes to fully grow. This makes diamond hoe tilled dirt make wheat take about 30 minutes instead of 50. Posted: 25 Feb 2019 08:46 PM PST New textures for golems depending on the biomes they spawn in, much like villagers. For example the snowy villages would have golems with ice and snow on them. [link] [comments]
New Biome: The Paradise Island Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:39 AM PST (P.S. This post is currently being revised due to u/ClockSpiral's feedback.) The Paradise Island would be a new Biome usually found in Lukewarm Oceans and Coral Reefs. They would have a beach surrounding the whole thing, with an abundance of Turtles. They would also have a guarantee of having an actual waterfall. Not only that, they would have 2 new trees and 2 new types of fruit: Palm Trees and Banana Trees. They can all be found on the beach or inland. Coconuts can be used for a multitude of things:
Bananas are a bit more useful. Not only do that restore 3 Hunger Bars and 2 Saturation, but they can be surrounded by Gold Ingots for Golden Bananas. Eating them gives you Regeneration 1, Resistance 1, Absorption 2, and Water Breathing for 5 Minutes. A new mob would spawn here - Crabs. They can be killed for Crab Meat, Which is an equivalent to Rabbit Meat. Crabs can be found on any beach and would be neutral, snapping at you if you hit them. They can also walk on the sea floor, making for some more aquatic mobs. There would be a very rare chance for a Giant Crab Drowned Jockey, in which a Drowned would spawn riding a giant crab. They wouldn't be able to swim, however. My next idea for this is a new Enchantment that can only rarely be found here in a secret chest behind the Waterfall. It is a Trident Enchantment called Paradise Pummel. This acts like a default Knockback Enchantment when not in a Paradise Island, but makes Crabs attack the mob/player you hit for a bit when on a Paradise Island. This would work well at all times, being able to knock a mob or Player back a bit and then throw the Trident at them after you knocked them back. I think this should be added because not only are tropical islands cool, but it would open up new Gameplay and Base Opportunities. Now, what do you think? Should this be added? Do ya hate it? Le questions or concerns? Please let me know in the comments down below! [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 04:42 PM PST So in order to get this villager you would have to get a fully unlocked villager, and then give it rare and exotic items, possibly one item from each dimension, or from particular biomes. Then, depending on the profession it is, it will turn into a higher tier villager. Perks of the higher tier villager Can fight back! Now the undead hordes have unified and sent pillagers to attack the villagers, villagers have trained key members to help iron golems defend the village. Less likely to lock trades - area effect on nearby villagers - while the higher tier will still lock his trades normally, as he stocks goods from exotic lands, he will encourage nearby villagers to trade more productively. A mix of more economic trades, and more expensive, rarer trades. This is the bit I would probably have to sit down with a table to figure out fully, but essentially, for trades such as glass, which is normally 1 emerald for 5-10 glass, it would then turn into 5 emeralds for a stack of glass. While you have to spend more, you get a better return out of it. The rare items I would have to spend longer scratching my head over, but could include items that normally are only traded by the wandering trader [link] [comments]
Create an experimental 'Realistic' world type that consists of an RWG-esque type terrain generator Posted: 26 Feb 2019 12:18 PM PST Title says it all. Since RTG is really just default but enhanced to the extreme, Mojang should incorporate it into the base game and then update it from there. Why buy RTG from the coders instead of making their own generator? It would take less time. Depending on the willingness of RTG's dev team, it can work very well unless they decline. If they decline then no use, it won't happen. EDIT: Changed RWG to RTG. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 01:52 AM PST The last update to fishing was done back in Update 1.7.2, the Update That Changed The World. That was about five and a half years ago. Ever since then, there has recently been an update completely dedicated to making oceans more lively, and with that update, came live fish. Actual fish mobs that swim around your oceans and rivers. A lot of people, including myself, thought that an update to fishing would come in 1.13, as actual fish were being added into the game. Despite this, there was no change to how fishing works. I want to fix that. Here is my proposal for a fishing update (I'm on mobile so formatting will be bad). Worm: a "mob" (it's an item) that has a 25% chance of dropping from a Composter instead of a piece of bone meal. Crafting this with a Fishing Rod will make a Baited Fishing Rod. This type of fishing rod is what you will now need is you want to catch any fish. New Fish Behavior: upon seeing a baited line, the fish will swim over and grab onto the hook. When you hear a jolt, right click, and the fish will die as soon as it is brought back to the player. Biome-Dependency: you can no longer catch every type of fish everywhere. You now have to be in the biome where that fish spawns in order for you to catch it. I.E. River for Salmon, Lukewarm Ocean for Pufferfish, Cod and Tropical Fish, etc., as well as in a body of water where fish can actually spawn. What About the Junk and Treasures?: they are all you will catch now if you use a regular fishing rod. Miscellaneous: Lure is now just for Baited Fishing Rods, and Luck of the Sea is now just for Fishing Rods. AFK farms now only catch junk and treasure items. What if we could shoot end crystals out of dispensers? Posted: 26 Feb 2019 10:39 AM PST It would go at the same speed as a shulker projectile and fly infinitely in the direction it was shot. it explodes as soon as it comes into contact with, a players, any other projectiles, any block, another explosion, a mob, or another end crystal. This would not be to powerful considering they go rather slowly and they fly only in a straight line, it would be fairly easy to shoot down with a bow, but very fun and challenging at the same time. they would act like a shulker shot in flight and the would not bob up and down like they do when they are sitting. also they would not heal the dragon while in flight but it can still hit the dragon if it hits the dragon. this would prevent x p farms using the dragon.or should that be a feature :)? So what are your thoughts? (if you have access to the official minecraft forum please post this as a suggestion for me, I cant go there myself.) Higher sensitivity for bluetooth controller on MCPE Posted: 26 Feb 2019 09:31 AM PST On console the sensitivity goes up to 200% and on PE it only goes up to 100. They need to change it to go up to 200 for people who need higher sensitivity like the way it is for other versions Even if you don't need higher sensitivity, or use a controller, please give a 👍. Some of us need higher sensitivity, especially for PVP [link] [comments]
New villager---Tailors (please suggest a better name) Posted: 26 Feb 2019 03:03 AM PST Tailors are villagers that sell special hats, clothing that are mainly for decoration, they only give half of a armor point when worn, but you can't get these equip-able anywhere else! Every time a villager changes profession they will go to the tailor to trade clothes, then they will take off their old robes and then wear the new ones, while changing, you can see their inner-clothes, which is their innermost layer of their skin, since in 1.14, their skins come in layers. Villagers will only trade for the robes and hats, the other parts will be on automatically. Here are the things they can trade:
*you can dye robes and aprons *There should be a whole new tab for these special Armour One last thing, hats could be put on some animals as well as yourself! [link] [comments]
Better Fish AI (for Aquariums) Posted: 25 Feb 2019 09:14 PM PST I built an aquarium in my basement for tropical fish, and as lovely as it looks, they all tend to gather in one spot and just sit there, until I jump in the water and swim around. I'd like it if they would wander around randomly even with no player in the water. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Feb 2019 02:49 PM PST Worms are a new passive mob a bit smaller than Silverfish and with less health. They spawn in and above dirt blocks, including in pockets below ground during world generation. When it rains, the worms up to 3 blocks below the rain will leave their block and move to the nearest air block above. Worms can be caught by clicking a fishing rod at them, providing a baited fishing rod that fishes far faster for 1 catch. They can also be released into farmland, where they would provide a crop growth boost and reproduce. Why add this? Dirt collecting will become more dynamic. Rain will become an important weather event for gameplay. Farmland has a way of being boosted besides bone meal. There is a farmable way to increase fishing. Posted: 25 Feb 2019 10:59 PM PST When you look into the distance in a desert biome it should wave and distort like in movies and stuff, idk how to explain it but you probably get the idea, maybe also rare mirage structures with palm trees and a small pool of water or something [link] [comments]
New Advancement: The Four Horsemen Posted: 25 Feb 2019 09:02 PM PST This advancement can be granted by spawning the "skeleton trap" [link] [comments]
Snow Golems spawn in villages located in snowy biomes: Posted: 25 Feb 2019 06:28 PM PST Essentially, being a decoy for the mobs instead of a protector. It could spawn far more frequently, in greater numbers, and with lower numbers of villagers. [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Feb 2019 07:35 PM PST This would be an enchantment for boots that allows you to walk without being effected by what you are walking on (ice, packed ice, blue ice, soul sand, magma blocks, wither roses, berry bushes, cacti, slime blocks). Posted: 26 Feb 2019 09:03 AM PST It boggles my mind that console is so held back in new features. It also takes forever to get new updates. Most of the time it can get stale playing basic Minecraft, even worse if you have no friends to play with like me. I have two ideas that instantly jump console to PC standards and will allow everyone on console to have an amazing long lasting time. First Idea "Mod Support" Imagine if console had a Mod Page like Bethesda's Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Where creators can upload their own mods for people to download and the popular, bigger mods have their own section like Tekkit and Aether. It will allow everyone unlimited creativity and make their own Minecraft experience like we were supposed to have. Not everyone can afford a good PC that can run all the mods, especially if you have siblings or friends, not everyone can afford that many PCs to enjoy amazing mods so Console Mod Support will be perfect for them because of the 4-Player Splitscreen feature. Second "Servers" Console is reduced to only 8 players at a time in a world. Also if the world owner isn't online playing Minecraft, there's no way you can play that world y'all created together because the owner has to be in that world for everyone else to play. If we had servers we can create it will allow everyone to play on world freely instead of waiting for your friend to get home. Also imagine if we had servers with Atleast 50 players, think of the games, creations or worlds we can create together. Of course the server owner can make rules if you don't want people playing on your server without you in it and make it invite only. But if you and your best buds make a survival world and they want to play on it while you're at work, they can't because you have to be online. Servers would fix that problem. Another thing is the last console update I got (PS4) took away in-game chat which is outstandingly stupid in my opinion, the only way you can talk to people would be through making a party. If servers were too happen they would have to bring in-game chat back because parties only hold 8 people. I hope people agree with my on these ideas. I just console to thrive again and for everyone to have an amazing time playing Minecraft. I believe these ideas would jump console 200%. I want to have fun again . Please ask questions, I would to have conversations about this. Spread the word on these ideas <3 [link] [comments] |
