My goal with this post is, to find some more people, who are willing to join our small community, and play regularly survival minecraft. What can you do on our server? For now, its mostly just Vanilla Minecraft. I am however thinking about implementing a custom written plugin, to add some sort of empire system, since our little community seems to have evolved a need, or wish for something like this. We center our community around the ideals that a small, tight-knit group of high-quality, good-natured players is far more invaluable than a large community open to the public, and are far more interested in the integrity of our community than in the growth and expansion of the server or in increasing activity in the server. As a result, all new member seeking to play on the server and participate in the community Discord will have to apply to join the server. Our gameplay focus is on pure vanilla (minimal plugins.) survival mode and player-centric community. The difficulty is set to hard. The map type is amplified. How Active is ASMP? We have five regular/active members and 10/35 slots on the whitelist taken. Once we reach 30, the server will be closed. The server is currently (as of 02.26.19) played on a daily basis by a group of people. We have a little market square and a 'bank' of sorts with exchange rates between different items (all vanilla), a bunch of farms, and the cogs of industry are churning as they've never churned before. This includes X-ray texture packs, ore scenters, waypoints, minimaps that give you fullscreen maps, biome finders, aimbot, automine, afk-fishing, and other similar mods. Optifine is okay. Minimaps that do not give you fullscreen/world maps, and by extension just show the area immediately surrounding you, are okay - so long as they don't show the location of other players. 6) Do not share or distribute pirated or otherwise illegal media. IP: Play.WonderCraft.org WonderCraft is a 1.13 Multi server with Slimfun Survival (Called Aquatic), Slimefun Skyblock, and Creative worlds to play in I mostly enjoy the Skyblock side of the server but majority of the players stick to the Aquatic (Survival) experience of the server I'm going to be giving my rating of the Server community, Server Appeal, and Servers staff and the overall. All three of these on a 1-5 scale with a Paragraph explaining my perspective of the area. (Except my overall rating) The Servers Community is quiet amazing, They are both very helpful and quiet competitive at times, But get along quiet well with each other and welcome new players, Some even give free stuff to newbies! However, a Few players can be a bit Tacky at times and rude, However, I believe its human nature to be rude time to time so I overlook it majority of the time. I rate the community a 4/5 Server Appeal! All 3 of the worlds have a spawn point that is very appealing to the eye, and rules / information stated relatively is a good area. However, When voting you get keys and the crates you must warp to so you can use them, I find that unappealing myself, And some information on the spawns is misinterpreted or outdated and needs updated. The server name in the server list is appealing and colorful and I enjoy that, the Tab bar is relatively kept simple. I would give the Server appeal an 4.5/5 stars Server Staff: Last but not least we have the server staff, which can keep or break a player from playing, Majority of the staff I have interacted with a quiet enjoyable and friendly, The give a lot of helpful advice, enforce the server rules and do a lot of free events, However, I don't see a lot of them very often and tend to see mishaps go unnoticed or not stopped due to no staff. We offer players the experience to play Minecraft the way it was meant to be played, including a lively social dynamic that characterized the earlier days of Minecraft servers. Gathering a vibrant community is one of our top priorities, with weekly social events, tournaments, and building projects, there is always something to be done. Server Details: Every aspect of Novadia has been carefully decided to promote a fair and fun version of the vanilla experience. Plugins are very minimal, with an anti-griefing tool for players being one of the few noticeable exceptions. There are no warps or player teleportation available, only a /spawn that serves as the hub of the server's activity and creativity. The idea behind this is to promote more interesting methods of travel which are offered by the vanilla game; such as riding horses, sailing across vast oceans, or constructing intricate minecart railways. This also encourages friendly players to live in close proximity to each other, forming towns and creating allies. And although the server is centered around a social PvE dynamic, PvP is still encouraged and always enabled outside of a small spawn radius. Tournaments and conflicts between player groups will keep things interesting for anyone craving a rewarding and intense combat experience. There are no ranks on Novadia - all players are treated as equals, and everyone is meant to feel included. Finally, every structure on the server is made in survival. I have this in the AWS cloud, on an EC2 instance with bursting capabilities. To save money, I only scale up the power when necessary. The server will scale up with community size so that lag will be mitigated as soon as possible.
