We try to keep our server fairly vanilla, so no /tpa, /home, or similar commands. Our community has 10-20 active players. Our ages range from 16 to 70, and we all share a love of Minecraft, and a sense of community. We have a community shopping district, player created villages, occasional events, and more. Chertia is a semi-vanilla survival server set in a land of gods, magic and monsters known as the Kingdom of Chertia. This server is heavily inspired by Mianite, but has evolved over time. You can view a brief summary on the Summary post here. The Server Chertia is mainly a semi-vanilla survival server. While we do have plenty of custom features, items and enchantments, these are entirely optional and can be ignored if you wish for a more traditional 'vanilla survival' experience. There are some commands that might be useful to know as you begin your adventure on Chertia. For a full list of available commands, view the page here. While Chertia is not an explicit roleplay server, there is often roleplay going on! We like to distinguish this with a dedicated roleplay mode, where each player can identify themselves as roleplaying (or wanting to roleplay) in the tablist and switch to a special 'roleplay name'. The world was devastated by nuclear detonation aimed to wipe out the pandemic that caused the deaths of billions of people and the rise of the undead. Guns- Guns can be crafted by gathering necessary resources from around the world. Map- The map is a sprawling metropolis with sewer systems skyscrapers countless different building types and more! PVP- PVP is allowed along with raiding players are given many tools to raid including custom guns and explosives Zombies- zombies have the ability to break blocks as well as build using their own corpses to get to players by any means necessary. Food- Food is a huge part of daily survival starvation occurs rapidly in the apocalypse forcing players to settle quickly and begin their farming process to help prolong their lifespans the growing of food is a challenge that rivals even the swarms of enemies as food growth has been lessened making food harder to grow with less chance of each plant successfully living along with the ability to only grow in direct sunlight making indoor and below ground farms unable to sustain a factions food needs Extras- The server boasts a karma system allowing players to acquire negative and positive karma pushing them towards either end of a scale that rewards the player with ranks and special skills/perks. GoatZone is an Avatar Semi-roleplay SMP server similar to hermitcraft where you get to become a bender of one of the 4 elements, or perhaps you rebel against the bender and become a Chi bender? Your faith is up to you. TL:DR: On GoatZone the 4 elements are split up to create their own nations, with their own laws and economy. The way the nations are ruled are decided by a ruler. The server also has a randomly chosen Avatar that can bend all 4 elements and enter the Avatar state. A new Avatar is chosen each month. The server is on Java edition. Apply to GoatZone [Here] Now for some more detailed information. Information on the Avatar GoatZone takes place after the death of Avatar Aang, however instead of having Avata Korra be born, we will have our own avatars. The way this will work is that every month one player will be randomly chosen in the Elemental order that they are chosen in, in the Avatar lore. This being Fire>Air>Water>Earth. This means that every month the Avatar will be randomised, however the only people included in that randomising will be people from the element that comes next. For example, this taking part after the death of Aang, our first Avatar will be a Water bender. Then the month after, an Earth bender will be chosen next, and so on. The Avatar will be able to bend all 4 elements, and also go in to the Avatar state. The player that is chosen to be the Avatar will be not be announced publically, unless the player wants that. Meaning a scenario where the Avatar was never found is a possible scenario, if that player choose to stay hidden. However if the player chose to, they will get the option to travel to all nations to learn the 4 elements. Using all 4 elements outside of the avatar state without training first is concidered failrp. The avatar can only use their starting element without training, the rest requires training. If the Avatar is killed by a player in the Avatar state, they will lose their Avatar abilities and a new Avatar will be chosen. If this happens, all Avatar spirits will also lose their Discord rank, to simulate the Avatar cycle being destroyed. All past Avatars will also recieve the Avatar Spirit rank in Discord. This will grant them access to the spirit chat, which only Avatar spirits and the Avatar can access. This is to simulate how the Avatar can talk to their past lives. Chi benders and Non Benders can not be chosen as the Avatar. The server Structure The server will be divided in to 6 nations, the Fire nation, the Earth kingdom, the Northern Water tribe, the Southern Water tribe, the Southern Air Temple and the Northern Air Temple. While the different Air temples and Water tribes are one element, the tribes and temples will have their own rules and may be very different depending on who rules it. This brings me to the next point, every nation will have their own ruler, an Earth king/queen, a Fire Lord/Lady and so on. These rules will be able to create their own laws in their nation, have taxes, and so on. Of course if it gets out of hand Admins will break in, but generally speaking, the ruler decides on everything. As long as it doesn't break the server rules. The players of each nation and element will help eachother build their cities, which should be located accuratelly to the avatar lore using the Coordinates in Minecraft. This meaning, northern things, should be north, and so on. The nations should generally also try to stick to the general design of the people of their element to keep it lore accurate. If a ruler is killed in combat by a player, their position as ruler will be passed on to whoever they may be married to, or if they have offspring. Roleplaying a family will be completelly valid on the server. A ruler can also be challenged to their position by players, and if the ruler loses they lose their position as ruler to that player. The ruler can however deny this challenge. If the Rules go inactive, their power will be passed on to possible family, if none, it will be up to the people to elect a new Ruler. There will also be a money system on the server. You can earn money by selling items, or selling them on the auction. Every nation ruler can choose to collect tax if they would like, however crazy amounts like 100% tax, will not be accepted. A ruler will also have to be aware that, if they push the tax too hard, the players may revolt against them and take their position. There's also other ways to earn money, like gambling, however things like this, is up to the ruler if they are legal or not. The server is still in it's early stage, and for anybody who loves building in a community, this is the server for you. The server will be like Hermitcraft, but with Avatar lore. We will all build massive structure's together and it will be something to be proud of. Hopefully some of you want to join us on this massive journey.
