I currently work full-time and am also a part-time student. Since 2012, running a Minecraft server was a big passion of mine. Throughout those years I have gained experience in what makes a great Minecraft server. This has inspired me to create a community where there are no worries about other players disrupting your fun. So I got up and created the server, Nostalgik Vanilla on October 22, 2021; a private server for ages 21 and up. Unlike other servers, this one has a strong emphasis on Family and being Semi-Active Friendly. When you join this server, everyone will get treated like a family and there is a good reason behind that. Once you get whitelisted, you will never be removed for being inactive unless you decided to leave the community. As I have a full-time job, that allows me to keep it running for a very long time. That means if you have a busy life and are unable to hop on for months, this server will always be here for you. We are here to stay, unlike other servers that usually die down. | Posted: 04 Jun 2022 12:49 PM PDT = = About the server = = Kamacraft was founded in 2019 by a trio of video game industry veterans and is now planning on starting season 4 in a brand new 1.19 world. Once Minecraft 1.19 is available, the server will be reset from the current season, and season 4 will start — first with vanilla Minecraft, and then Bukkit, Spigot, and/or Paper as they become available for 1.19. All of our server members are adults with adult things to do, so no one expects you to be online 24/7, or even every day. That said, we hope to find new long time players to join our small(ish) but lovely community. Some sreenshots from previous seasons: = = Rules = = Respect other players. This applies to everything about the server, from chat to gameplay. Don't steal, don't cheat, don't grief, and don't bully. If we have to explain more than that, this probably isn't the server for you. Other details of what is or is not allowed and suggestions for adding things to the server are generally voted on in the Discord in a democratic fashion, and are often adopted. Joining the Discord server is required, though active participation is not. This is because all server-related announcements are shared through Discord. = = Do your own thing. Or don't. = = As everyone on our server has other obligations, and gaming should always be recreation, never an obligation, there is a strong effort to let everyone play in their own style, at their own pace. This server is all about having a fun and dedicated community of players, where everyone feels included and actively contributes. We already have a great group of around 25 members, but are still looking for new ones. So if you're looking to enjoy playing Minecraft on a long term SMP, look no further than Experium. We recently started a brand new season on June 1st with a fresh world and it has been going great! We are currently playing within a 1000 by 1000 block area, so that we can reset the chunks outside the area in order to get new terrain when we update to 1.19. Don't worry though, you can still leave to access other biomes, but only builds inside the area will be saved. This has actually made things incredibly fun with everyone building so close together and interacting so often. We're currently just taking things slow and enjoying the early game. We haven't even gone to the end yet, so new players wouldn't be too behind at all. This server is also very much inspired by the Hermitcraft series on youtube as I watch a lot of the Hermit's amazing content and I am constantly motivated by their community and what they accomplish. This means that we have included several iconic features of that server, including several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects. This makes the server very fun and encourages members to contribute. But this also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively.
