snow golems should shoot ice balls when standing on blue ice Posted: 24 Oct 2020 02:28 AM PDT I think that it's a shame that Snow Golems don't do any damage. Why do they even shoot something if they're not doing damage?! The Ice Balls would do one heart of damage. I think that as long as you're not in a desert, it would be a good way of defending a village against raids with turrets. Edit: thanks for the Rocket award. Edit again: thanks for all the awards. Telescopes should have a small chance to be in shipwrecks Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:52 AM PDT In 1.16, shipwrecks were made more rare. And lets be honest, apart from the buried treasure maps, the loot you get from them (leather armour, poisonous potato) is mediocre. So i think it would make sense to have a very rare chance to find a telescope in a shipwreck chest. [link] [comments]
If an explosion happens within 10 blocks of a horse, the horse runs around scared Posted: 24 Oct 2020 03:22 AM PDT Basically a horse would run around similar to when a cow or sheep is hit when faced with lighting or an explosion. It would be a cool addition and creates extra confusion when a creeper or explosion goes off. Horses also get scared from loud noises in real life so there's that parallel. [link] [comments]
The music should play more often. Posted: 24 Oct 2020 11:10 AM PDT In my opinion I think it takes way too long for another track to play (it was 10 minutes I think). I think this because it gets really quiet while you are waiting for music to play and really boring. For me if the music played more often I would get bored less. The music adds the juice to the game but I barely get to hear it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 09:16 AM PDT Sorry if it's a dupe, but netherwarts are a nether plant and they are red. They should be able to make red dye to me. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 08:39 AM PDT This would give them more value and makes their trades worth more cuz noone really buys normal carpets from them when you can just shear a sheep and no-one really buys leather armor as it isn't a viable choice and isn't the prettiest armor either, which is why they should sell an unobtainable decorative stuff instead. ***Decorative/Village leather armor***: They can vary in shapes (yes, there's multiple types of this armor, they're decorative after all) and colors, maybe they can even have enhanced protection and enchantability. (the armor increase are not very high btw, but it's nice nonetheless as it suggest that it's more professionally made) ***Decorative/Village carpet***: They sell in all colors and each color have a varied pattern similar to glazed terracottas, very useful for bulding. Now that they're introducing Copper it's the perfect time to add MAGNETS! Posted: 24 Oct 2020 09:44 AM PDT

Fire Resistance II Potion and how you’d use it. Posted: 24 Oct 2020 12:45 PM PDT Fire Resistance II is a potion that is brewed by adding glowstone dust to a regular fire resistance potion. Fire Resistance II only lasts for 90 seconds, but offers many benefits that aren't offered by standard fire resistance.
To balance these mechanics, I think that you should suffocate in lava the same way you drown under water if you stay down there too long. Your ability to mine blocks would also be hindered as it is under water. Respiration and aqua affinity will be of no help under lava. So why would you use this potion? I think it would be very cool if in the caves and cliffs update, we have lava pools much larger and deeper than what is currently found in the game, under which you could find large deposits of diamonds. In addition to spawning beneath the lava lakes of the nether, I think it would be cool if ancient debris also spawned at the bottom of the lava lakes of the nether. [link] [comments]
Bubble columns should propagate through waterlogged iron bars Posted: 24 Oct 2020 09:45 AM PDT Because it sucks to take damage when travelling downwards onto a magma block. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 11:20 AM PDT If you pour water over a torch, or if a torch somehow touches water, it's flame should go out, leaving an unlit torch. An unlit torch standing upright might be a good decoration! If you ignited it with a flint and steel, it would light up again. The same thing would work with the candles coming in 1.17. Posted: 24 Oct 2020 07:40 AM PDT In real life, chalk is a form of limestone which develops underwater, making chalk blocks perfect for the new underwater caves where it would generate with deposits of clay. But what would Chalk bring to the game other than another stone type? Well, Chalk could be dyed into any of the sixteen colours available in game to receive a pastel coloured version of the block. This would add a much needed pastel palette into the game and makes for a cool new building block. [link] [comments]
drowned with a fishing rod should be able to hook & pull you Posted: 24 Oct 2020 12:16 AM PDT some drowned naturally spawn with a fishing rod, they should be able to use it . it will make underwater more fun and challenging . [link] [comments]
Add Zinc, Rusting, and Galvanization Posted: 24 Oct 2020 05:40 AM PDT With the addition of Copper oxidizing, Mojang said they'd add a way to prevent it from happening. My suggestion is to add a new mineral, zinc, to do this. In real life, zinc is used to coat certain metals in a protective layer to prevent rusting and oxidization, so adding zinc to copper items in the crafting table should create Galvanised Copper Items. These items do not oxidize, letting you keep that pretty brown metal just the way you want. Now that we have a way to prevent it, I think it'll be neat to add rusting to the game. Basically, if iron-based items are within or touching water blocks, they will begin to rust, similar to copper. Note that they ONLY rust when touching water blocks. Rain and splash potions do not cause iron to rust. The new rusty iron could be a cool new decoration block, giving a new wheathering method for builds. Of course, you can also galvanize the iron, preventing it from rusting in water. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 12:03 PM PDT With this game rule enabled players will no longer be able to pass the night by sleeping in a bed. They will still be able to set their spawn point at a bed. As a game rule this can be set on on or off by command or when generating a new world. [link] [comments]
When you sneak while placing a sign, a sign will be placed without the text UI, making a blank sign Posted: 24 Oct 2020 01:32 PM PDT Despite its original use, signs are useful in big farms such as ones using water and lava. However, placing these signs become tedious, especially on console editions where the keyboard menu also shows up. To counter this, I suggest that sneaking should skip that part and just place a blank sign. This would make it easy for placing big rows of signs to block water flow, as mentioned before. Allow more creative liberty in banner shapes and orientation Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:41 AM PDT A lot of flags historically have had banners that are non-rectangular, and even today the Flag of Nepal is non-rectangular. I think allowing the creation of triangular flag styles would add more diversity and uniqueness to peoples choice in banners. Also, banners can only be hung vertically in their current state, which is unrealistic in that flags today are almost never hung vertically. Being able to "fly" flags in Minecraft would be awesome, and would allow people to make awesome national buildings. [link] [comments]
Herobrine references in Archeology Posted: 24 Oct 2020 12:17 PM PDT There should be references to him in the objects you find from Archeological sites. Images of him on clay pots. Totems made in his likeness. This could play homage to a community legend. I like the idea that he used to exist. I don't know if this is on the FPS. If it is do tell. [link] [comments]
Endermite spawners protecting the portal in the end Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:18 AM PDT A problem with the dragon fight is that it's too simple. It's not necessarily easy, but you can usually understand what the dragon will do. Once the dragon perched, you can get free hits off of it and weaken it by a large amount. My suggestion is to add 4 endermite spawners on the bedrock all around the perch/portal, now, this might seem like a lot, but Endermen attack endermites, so the endermites will only be able to really bother you when the dragon is perched and Endermen can't reach them. This would increase the complexity of the entire boss fight by a small amount, and add some more depth to it, it will force you to break all 4 spawners to kill the dragon effectively. One last thing, whenever the dragon is respawned, an extra spawners is added until there are 12 in total. This feature would be a simple way to add depth to the boss fight, and also give the endermite a use finally. [link] [comments]
Notter, the new non newtonian liquid for the end. Posted: 24 Oct 2020 04:52 AM PDT Notter or not water would be a new corrupted form of water that would be found in the end city's in small failed gardens. Apperance:Notter would have a color simmaler to chorus fruit with little white speaks floating around in it,if you move around in it the particles would displace around the player. Behavior:So like oobleck notter would be non newtonian meaning the harder you hit it the more it will act like a solid, meaning if you try use notter for a water bucket save it will act like your landing on a block, you would also move slowly through it if you try to Sprint or swim in it. Because notter it a corrupted form of water it can not be used to grow regular crops, but it can be used to make stuff like nether wart or chorus fruit grow faster. Notter would also move slowly like lava and it would flow for about five blocks. If you try to place a water mob in notter they wouldn't survive because of the properties of the liquid, but guardians can survive in it. You can purifie notter by placing in in a cauldron with a campfire under it,after a while purple smoke will begin to come out of the notter before boiling off into regular water. If you havr any other ideas or queastions, please let me know in the comments. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:38 AM PDT This concept will be for my new mob and new cave, the beetle and scarab. Beetles-Beetles will be small flying mobs that spawn in savannas, forests, badlands and caves. Beetles will only attack you in caves, and they will be neutral in all other biomes. Scarab Cave-These caves will spawn in jungles and near lush caves, and will be filled with beetles sacs. The scarab beetle will be in the cave, and when attacked tons of regular beetles will come to defend the scarab. The scarab will drop a golden scarab scrap, and if you get 4 golden scarab scraps you can craft a scarab totem(see next) Scarab Totem-If you hold a scarab totem in your hand and get killed by a mob, the mob will get killed unless it is a boss(ex. wither, dragon). Even if you respawn away from the place you died you will get all your stuff kept in your inventory and you will automatically get whatever the mob that killed you dropped. [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:26 AM PDT Minecraft doesn't have a lot of birds, so I thought it would be cool if they added more, so I thought I'd suggest seagulls! They would make the ocean way more interesting, and it would be cool if they liked to attack drowneds, and you should be able feed them food like bread and fish [link] [comments]

Have the timer for potion effects be up in the corner with the potion effect itself Posted: 24 Oct 2020 01:59 PM PDT It'll just make things more convenient. I know the thing flashes when the effect is running out, but that's more of a warning. It would just be more convenient if you could see the remaining time in the corner rather then have to go into your inventory and close the crafting book just to see the time left. Posted: 24 Oct 2020 10:55 AM PDT Haunted Armor Stands would be a new enemy that would roam around strong holds, marching the halls and making sure nothing can get to the portal. Apperance:When standing still they would apper as normal armor stands with random prices of armor on and in different positions, but if they detect the player with in a sixteen blocks they would awaken and begin to hunt down the player, then they would have a red aura around them with glowing red eyes, they can also appear in nether fortresses where they could rarely be wearing netherite armor. Stats: Hp-10 Hearts Armor:depends on armor they are wearing. Attack:depends on what weapon they have. Other:There could be a curse added called cures of haunting, meaning that if you put that price of armor on an armor stand,it will have a chance of becoming a haunted one. If you look at a haunted armlr stand while its moving it will suddenly stop and pretend to be a regular one, then after you look away it will begin to move again. The best way to kill a haunted armor stand is with smite due to the evil spirit lurking inside. When you kill a haunted armor stand it will drop all of its armor, but it will be damage to the point of almost breaking. If you have any other ideas or questions, please let me know in the comments.
