Trident can be repaired by prismarine shard for 4 durability and prismarine crystal for 9 durability

Cuz Trident kinda looks like it was made out of prismarine and it'll be a bit useful since there's no way to repair Tridents other than combining two trident or enchanting it with mending. I'm aware many of you will disagree and I understand that.

    Zombie Wandering Trader

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 10:39 AM PST

Zombie version of the wandering trader, that has a very rare chance of spawning, maybe 1/5000.

They would randomly drop up to 3 different items from their trading item pool.

(These are just examples, it would be which way is the most balanced for Mojang)

Placing consecutive beacons on top of each other increases their range.

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 03:26 PM PST

Right now beacons are extremely useful for endgame base building. However for larger bases it becomes a hassle to move the beacon every time you move out of range. Allowing us to increase the range of beacons in some way would be a great addition.

Wandering Traders will trade Emeralds for Invisibility Potions

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 09:30 AM PST

    Title says it all.

Wandering Traders drink Invisibility Potions at night now in the latest snapshot.

They need Invisibility Potions, so they would trade emeralds for it from the player.

Vote for it here too: https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360040648991-Wandering-Traders-and-Invisibility-Potion-Trade

With the removal of gravity blocks floating on walls and fences, we really need some coloured stairs and slabs soon.

I suggest concrete, terracotta/hardened clay and maybe glass.

INFINITE Dimensions for Map Makers and Admins

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 03:29 PM PST

My suggestion is to make it possible to add more dimensions to one world. This would give map makers the opportunity to create awesome maps and datapacks, as well as allow server/realms admins to add for example a farm world to their server.

The way I propose to do this is really straight forward (or so I think): I would reorganize the "DIM1" and "DIM-1" folders (end and nether dimension) into a new "dimensions" folder and give the overworld its own folder. In order to add a new dimension, one has to create a new world with the specifics wanted. Then one would have to copy the (e.g.) overworld file from one world's dimensions folder and paste it into the other dimensions folder and rename it. Portals would only work in/between the normal 3 dimensions. The way one would travel between the new dimensions using /tp commands (similarly to how you can use them already).

I don't think there would be any downsides for players who would not want to use this feature. Overall I think this would be a great implementation as it creates so many new possibilities for map making and especially realms admins who cannot do anything like that at the moment (at least as far as I know), while not requiring too much work (I think). Finally, I would like to say that this is my first suggestion here and I would greatly appreciate feedback.

Zombies Who Wander into the Desert Transform Into Husks After a While

    Posted: 05 Feb 2019 06:46 PM PST

Just like how zombies would "supersaturate" by drowning in water, Zombies who spawn in non-desert biomes and follow the player into the Desert would dry up and become husks after a bit.

    Slime on a Stick

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 02:11 PM PST

The 1.9 Combat Update brought many changes to PvP, and even though I enjoy the new mechanics better, there is one old tactic I miss - the usage of fishing rods in PvP. Rods' abilities were changed with 1.9, having them not deal knockback anymore, instead pulling entities towards the caster.

I recommend reverting rod behaviour to pre-1.9, and creating a new item, Slime on a Stick (intuitive recipe, just like the carrot on a stick, but using an unenchanted rod), which will feature the new rod behaviour. Fishing is only possible with a Fishing Rod, and a Slime on a Stick is only used to pull things towards the player. The new item can only be enchanted with Unbreaking and Mending.

    Any thoughts?

Carrier pigeons - A new bird, and a new low-tech way to transport items

    Posted: 05 Feb 2019 09:25 PM PST

Pigeons are a passive mob that can be found in plains and forest biomes. They're about as rare as parrots.

    Behavior in the wild:

Pigeons are timid creatures. They're startled by sudden movements, and will fly away when scared. They usually sit on top of trees, and will occasionally fly from tree to tree.

When two pigeons get close to each other, they will become a flock and fly together. If one bird in a flock gets startled, the entire flock will fly away. If a bird gets too far from the flock, it will get lost and start flying on its own again. This has a chance of happening any time a flock gets startled.

Occasionally they will try to feed. When they do this, they will peck at tall grass or oak leaves. This doesn't damage any blocks. If they peck tall grass, they have a chance of finding a seed. If they peck oak leaves, they have a chance of finding an apple.

When they do, they'll retreat to their nests to eat it. The seed or apple renders in their mouth while they carry it to their nest. Pigeons without a nest will fly to the top of a nearby tree and eat it there.

    Nests:

When two or more pigeons are in a flock, two will occasionally make a nest together. This nest can only be placed on top of leaf blocks. After a while, they will lay an egg in one.

Pigeon eggs will always be laid at sunrise and hatch at sunrise. If an egg is laid one day and you don't load the chunks for a full week, then you stand next to one during a sunrise, it will hatch then. If it was on a timer, pigeons would only ever hatch if you stood next to one for a while.

When exploring, nests will rarely generate on top of trees. These nests will come with an egg and two adults to care for it.

If you chop down a tree with a nest inside, the nest will break when the leaves decay. If an egg is inside, it will drop as a pigeon egg item.

    Domesticating:

You can hatch your own pigeons if you find an egg. First craft a nest out of wheat, then place the egg inside and wait. When it hatches, it will imprint on the first player it sees and become that player's pet.

When they stay in the same general area for more than 10 Minecraft days, they consider that spot to be their home. If they are ever moved to another area, they will fly back to this location.

You can craft a pigeon cage, hold it and right click on a pigeon to hold it in your inventory. If you travel somewhere else and release the pigeon, it will fly back to its home.

    Carrier pigeons:

You can combine a name tag with any item to tie the two together. This creates a new item called a letter. This can be tied around a pigeons foot, and it will bring it back to its home when it flies away. You can use this to move a single item stack, and it can't be another pigeon.

If it has to fly into unloaded chunks, the pigeon will simply disappear and appear in its home a while later.

This is balanced because pigeons are one way transportation only. You still have to bring the pigeon away from its home for it to fly back. It's also limited to a single item stack, but this can be mitigated somewhat with a shulker box.

Using written books will allow you to send letters if you're into role playing.

    Drops:

Pigeons drop 0-1 feathers. If they are carrying a seed, an apple or a letter, they will drop that too.

    More Creative-exclusive items

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 04:19 AM PST

While I think Heads should be in Survival via dungeon chests, I think there are more ideas that would be fit for the Creative inventory:

-Super TNT (Can blow up Bedrock, Obsidian, Barriers, etc)

-Minecart with Super TNT (Same thing but in a Minecart)

-Super Piston (Can push Bedrock, Obsidian, Barriers, etc)

-Super Sticky Piston (Can push and pull Bedrock, Obsidian, Barriers, etc)

-Randomizer (Basically, its a Spawn egg that spawns something randomly; not really useful, just sounds funny and chaotic)

    World Transfer

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 01:18 PM PST

There should be a way to have access to your worlds even if you are using a different system. For example, I would like to keep working on a world that's on my Xbox one, so having the option to save the world on cloud, even if the amount of data available to do this is limited, would really help. We should also be allowed to overwrite or even remove the world that's on cloud if we choose to do so. This will be very helpful! :)

Bring functionality to the dragon egg

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 12:42 PM PST

since 2011 the dragon egg has had tons of potential as a red dragon was hinted to come from it. However it remains useless.

How to hatch the red dragon

Place an end crystal anywhere you choose in the Netherlands or overworld

right click it with the egg

the egg will overwrite the crystal and emit a soft red glow

after 5 seconds a large explosion will occur, centered around the egg

    About the red dragon

after the explosion will be a small red dragon with 1 health (1/2) heart. it can be tamed by feeding it with end pearls which will also increase it's health by one heart each pearl. the max is 30 hearts. For each heart gained by it, the larger it becomes until it makes at about half the size of the ender dragon. at full capacity you may sit atop the dragon and ride it. you may crash through most blocks (not obby nor bedrock) but incur minus one health to both you and the dragon for each layer. By right clicking with nothing in your hand while riding the dragon, a fireball will be shot with the same explosive power of a ghast ball. there will be a cool down of 10 seconds between each shot

How this will impact the game

this will give the game more incentive to complete the End Dragon fight, and give the player more fun in the late game. this would also revolutionize pvp on certain anarchy servers

    Nether / Fire Warrior

    Posted: 06 Feb 2019 10:37 AM PST

The Nether or Fire Warrior is a new nether mob. It would spawn around a new structure or area in the Nether, guarding treasure. They would be around as strong or stronger than an Evoker.

Fire Warrior looks like a living flame covered in Nether-brick like armor. (It's face is obscured by the helmet's visor)

    Behavior:

When you're far, the Fire Warrior shoots 2 fireballs from its arms towards the player every 1.5 seconds. When you're close, the Fire Warrior brings out his golden sword, and occasionally shoots a fireball using it's second arm, every 3 seconds.

To damage it, you have to destroy its armor first, which can only be removed by hitting it with a sword. The warrior will start losing pieces of its armor one by one, until fully exposed.

Then it starts glowing, and bursts in an explosion of fire, so you better stay away.

    Drops:

It would have a rare chance to drop pieces of it's armor called "Ancient Nether Armor"

Ancient Nether Armor has a passive fire & projectile damage reduction, but makes you more vulnerable to melee damage.
