The option to save another player's world as your own. Posted: 20 Mar 2019 02:49 PM PDT Me and my friend were playing Minecraft on our Xbox Ones in which he had a great world that I wanted to save as my own to add upon it without him having to be online and in the world. I suggest that maybe on the pause menu or player menu, add the option to "Allow players to save as own" or something similar and on the pause menu you can click "Save as own." Once another player has saved your world, when opened on their save, it loads the exact load as when they pressed the "Save as own" option and whatever is changed on their save, will not affect the original owner's save. I think this would be an amazing idea! It could open up many new doors to share ideas and show creativity between players. Also if the owner of a world owner would like to delete a world you like, you could save it as your own to continue to enjoy the world. I hope you take this into consideration. Thank you! Testificates Craft using Items thrown at them Posted: 20 Mar 2019 09:36 AM PDT Imagine throwing 2 sticks and 3 iron ingots at a Toolsmith and having them throw back a pickaxe, or chucking the same items to a Weaponsmith and having them chuck back an axe, 4 planks and 2 sticks at a Shepherd, they might throw back some fences, 3 sugarcane to a Librarian and they hand over some paper, et cetera. Basically, if the Testificate understands the recipe, they should be able to craft it. Very much like a Farmer crafting bread from 3 wheat. If they don't understand the recipe, and it's not food, they will drop the items after 5 seconds. They should craft the item that uses the most stacks and the most ingredients in their inventory. For new players this encourages experimentation. For more experienced players though... Oh man, just imagine it... Cubicle upon cubicle of dispenser fed sweatshops ~ Just beautiful. Well, I hope you like the idea. u/GreasyTroll4 took down the last autocrafter because it was in a block. Same mechanic, just activated by redstone instead of the whims of a villager. You tell me what you think. [link] [comments] |
Baby Villagers should use a more childlike skin/texture instead of using the adult skin/texture. Posted: 20 Mar 2019 04:29 PM PDT It looks honestly a little odd (& quite hilarious) to see a bunch of tiny adult looking Villagers run around the villages. It would be a nice extra touch to make it so they look like kids in some way. Like giving them shaggy hair on their bald heads & maybe bigger eyes would do the trick. Maybe even some brightly colored clothing as well. The Nitwit Villager kids could have little propeller hats too. lol [link] [comments] |
Slight Tweak to Left Handed Players Posted: 20 Mar 2019 04:01 PM PDT I think a pretty cool idea (although not a too desperately needed idea) is if a player has left handed settings on like for instance on Pocket Edition, they would have items in what would normally be their offhand. Posted: 20 Mar 2019 10:26 AM PDT Players with this potion effect will notice little arrows at the edge of the screen. That arrow points to mobs and players (except you) when they are close enough and are currently moving. It won't detect mobs and players that are invisible and it won't detect players that are sneaking. If mobs are effected by this effect, then it simply increases its detection range (the range at which the mob will detect that you are around). For each level of this effect, the detection range increases by 10 blocks, starting at +10 detection range on top of the detection range of mobs and +30 detection range from 0 from the player. You can't brew this potion from scratch. You have to find it in chests, though it spawns more often in ship wrecks. You can however, modify the potion to last longer, have a stronger effect, turn it into a splash potion, turn it into a lingering potion, or even put the effect on arrows. Without any modifiers, this effect from a potion lasts 5 minutes. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Mar 2019 11:42 PM PDT Alright. I had this idea in my head from when 1.12 came out and thought you guys might like it. So basically, I had an idea, that ater a thunderstorm, there would be like 50% chance of a Rainbow coming. The Rainbow would be around 100-200 blocks from the player and if you would ignore it, it would despawn after like 10-15 mins. If you would go on the end of the Rainbow, you would find some kind of treasure, or maybe just a treasure map leading to a buried treasure (Not the one added in 1.13, but underground, not on beaches) What do you guys think? Feedback appreciated! [link] [comments] |
Being able to place fences and walls.. on walls, in a 90° angle Posted: 20 Mar 2019 07:05 AM PDT This would allow us to create horizontal pillars that would allow for tons of new creative building. [link] [comments] |
Revert the recent changes to golem spawning Posted: 20 Mar 2019 04:33 PM PDT The most recent snapshot, 19w12a SIGNIFICANTLY nerfed iron farms. They now output just under 250 ingots an hour, where they used to give almost 2500 ingots an hour! At least make it so they can do 750 with a reasonable number of villagers! Exploitation of game mechanics like that is what makes Minecraft Minecraft, and getting rid of it/nerfing it into the ground makes the game less enjoyable for a good amount of the community. Add branches that when you break them you get sticks Posted: 20 Mar 2019 04:09 PM PDT |
Posted: 20 Mar 2019 04:03 PM PDT I'm not necessarily suggesting that a new ore gets added in or there's a new item stronger then diamond, although new ores with different uses would be great, but I suggest being able to make tools with different materials perhaps, end stone, purpur, and etc. For instance, a sandstone tool would have the same durability as a stone one but with a different colour, along with it's red counterpart. Things like those might give the game a subtle flare, although not needed straight away at this moment. [link] [comments] |
Different Smithing and Fletching Table Crafting Recipes Posted: 20 Mar 2019 03:58 PM PDT Rather than the current 4 planks + 2 flint (Fletching Table) and 4 planks + 2 iron ingots, these two blocks should have their recipes changed to 2 planks + 2 flint or iron ingots. This is because the other crafting blocks are 2 planks + 2 something else (Loom = 2 planks + 2 string, Cartography Table = 2 planks + 2 paper). This suggestion is purely for consistency between these four blocks. [link] [comments] |
The Dungeon of Deep Despair and Turns. [1/?] Posted: 20 Mar 2019 03:00 PM PDT This would be either a dungeon or a dimension. It would be a cavern with new mobs, loot, potions etc, but that will be in another post. My posts will have [1/?] On each one. It'll be made out of cracked, dirty, mossy bricks etc. You can see a concept I made in the link. [link] [comments] |
Falling from high on sand/gravel/concrete powder will destroy them (and hurt the player) Posted: 20 Mar 2019 01:56 PM PDT I think this will make scense, all gravity blocks get destroyed by jumping on them from high above [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Mar 2019 07:50 PM PDT Add the ability to put a cactus in maybe a furnace or maybe a brewing stand to get a bowl of cactus juice which causes the player to start tripping, but it's very thirst quenching though. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 19 Mar 2019 08:28 PM PDT I think the campfire should have 3 states: on (makes damage), off (like the current one, which does not harm) and an intermediate one: with the same texture it has when there is no fire, but at the base the coal is on and in red color so that hurt. The new status only be obtained with a potion of water splash or a lot of snowballs, for extinguish flame. If you keep throwing them, or with a water bucket it would shut down completely. Obviously the coals cooled after a few seconds or minutes. [link] [comments] |
Wool should drop String when cut with Shears. Posted: 19 Mar 2019 07:49 AM PDT Since it would cut up the wool. I feel like Swords would just break it faster like how Axes break pumpkins faster. No clue how much string would drop, please feel free to debate! [link] [comments] |
