    Project Nebula

    This Saturday, July 11th, we are co-hosting a joint UHC event with the Dominion SMP server! This UHC is going to be a bit different than our usual UHCs - the first team to kill the Ender Dragon is the winner! These events are super fun and a great way to meet people and get invested in our community. Hope you join us!

    Project Nebula is a Hermitcraft-style SMP started by /u/Colinator007 and /u/RavingPlatypi. We love playing as a community and generally interacting with new people, which is why we started a server. Our community is tight and very welcoming! We are full of personable, interesting people, and I hope you give our server a shot. You'll meet lots of new, friendly people!

    About Us

    Colin and I are college students looking to play with new people! We're both engineering students and love to fiddle with redstone and farms; but we also love building beautiful structures and planning a nice base, and just generally hanging out and relaxing with some games. We encourage all playstyles and love to see the creative ways you guys play this game! We have experience hosting multiple servers in the past, such as Colincraft and Nebula Network, and have joined/played on many servers, too.

    Our goal is to not only create an active Minecraft server, but an active community and group of friends as well. While our community has a solid base, we are always looking to expand our group and we'd love to get to know you! We'd love to play other games with you in addition to Minecraft, such as Terraria, GTA V, Smash Ultimate, or whatever else you may have on Steam (or other consoles, like Switch). We've found that many of our players tend to be college students majoring in engineering, but of course, anyone is welcome and will feel at-home with us!

Most of our channels are hidden until you become a member. You must first agree to our rules using !agree and will then be able to apply for whitelist, with a message DM'd to you with instructions. Please make sure you allow DMs from server members, otherwise you will not be able to apply. Upon acceptance you will be whitelisted and granted access to the rest of the Discord!

    We are hosting the following servers:

    • Minecraft 1.16.1 Vanilla (Running Paper MC with no major plugins. Our map started June 8th 2019 :))

      -This server uses quality-of-life datapacks, which are designed to aid the experience and efficiency of the game without altering the Vanilla feel. Examples include one-player sleep, logical uncrafting, and Ender Dragon dropping elytra. A full list of datapacks can be found here! To improve server performance we've been running the latest builds of Paper MC because it has better chunk loading and is generally more stable than Vanilla. No game-changing plugins are used; we only use a couple plugins to optimize villagers and pillagers, as well as core protect for admin purposes. We know that Paper/Spigot can mess with redstone timings, so please message me (RavingPlatypi) before you build large-scale redstone projects so we can put it on a test server and troubleshoot any possible issues. I'd hate for you to build a giant machine only for it to not work!

    We run Paper just for the better performance. Full Vanilla experience!

    • Minecraft 1.16.1 Creative

      -Flatworld for our community to test their builds and other creations. Uses the same datapacks as the main server for consistency. Also has a limited world edit available for all players.

    • Terraria Server

      -We recently finished our playthrough of the Journey's End update, but we're willing to start a new playthrough if there's enough community interest!

    • Hytale server (Upon release)

      -We're hyped!!

    • Modded Minecraft server

      -We have a Pixelmon server with a custom modpack made by a member from our community! If you're interested, grant yourself the role when you join our Discord and follow the instructions pinned in our info channel upon acceptance!

    • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

      -Not a dedicated server, but we'll have arenas open pretty often for you guys to play, and even tournaments if we have enough interest in that. Send us your friend codes if you'd like to play with us!

    • Other Minecraft gamemodes & community events

      -We've hosted numerous UHC events and other gamemodes in the past and they always go down really well! These events are a great way to socialize with people on our server that you would've otherwise never spoken to before, so we hope you join us! We've also hosted other community events, like build battles on the Vanilla server. Let us know what you're interested in and we'll see what we can do!

    Rules

    The obvious rules with whitelisted servers, such as:

    • Don't be a dick (aka: the Golden Rule ™)

    • No griefing or stealing. Even if it's a small thing, at least notify the person with a sign or DM.

    • PvP is allowed only with consent from BOTH PARTIES. If you keep pestering someone into PvP, that isn't consent; it's peer pressure.

    • No hacked clients or client-side mods that provide an unfair advantage. Things like inventory tweaks, minimaps. and litematica are perfectly acceptable. Ask an admin if you are unsure.

    • No slurs or offensive statements that attack someone's religion, gender, or other beliefs. This includes building hateful monuments as well.

    • Discord and a working microphone are required. We obviously don't expect you to always hop into a voice channel whenever you play, but we value speaking to our players and getting to know them through voice chat!

    • This community leans towards applicants that are 18+. However, this is not a strict rule, and we encourage everyone to apply, no matter their age. We base our whitelist decisions based on maturity rather than age, but simply prefer applicants that are a closer age to ourselves (which means 18 years and up). To put it in perspective, most of us are college students around our 2nd-3rd years. Due to the recent influx in players we've had, we are not accepting players under the age of 16, unless they are referred to us by another member. We are sorry about that, but we have to be a bit more selective about who joins our community due to 1.15's server performance.

    • Absolutely no griefing or stealing.

    About Elkia

    Elkia SMP is a friendly, Vanilla Survival Minecraft server. Our idea of a server is a Mindcrack/Hermitcraft-esque group. We are a whitelisted community to keep the community small and happy. Being a community oriented place, we have meetups every Wednesday where we might work on a large project, participate in an event, or play something completely different. Players also have meetups whenever they feel like it, it's always loads of fun, and a great way to meet the other people!

    Our fifth season started a day after the release of 1.16, on June 24th. This time, we decided to use a Mushroom Island for our shopping district and spawn town, and all of the mycelium is already gone because of community effort. We have a somewhat functional Nether transport system on top of the Nether roof, but a proper hub is yet to be built. We're always on the lookout for new ideas, though, and we're looking for the creative type that always has some new things to build. If the game is over for you after beating the Ender Dragon, we might not be the place for you.

    This is our classic trailer made by Cerx. It's called a trailer, but it's really more of a compilation of our stupidity, though a lot has changed since then - we're working on a new one, and it's hopefully ready to be released sometime soon.

    We have some datapack setups running. Here's a list of the features:

    • Player heads drop upon PvP death.
    • The Ender Dragon drops Elytra upon death.
    • No Enderman griefing or firespread.
    • A modified version of one-player sleeping that includes custom messages!
    • All mobs have a small chance to drop their heads.
    • A Written Book that lets you have full armour stand control. Yep, it's the one they use on the Hermitcraft server.
    • Universal dyeing.
    • Several quality-of-life crafting recipes to make the game less tedious. Examples include Stripped Logs to Logs, Logs to Chests and more Quartz Blocks when crafting Quartz.
    • The Wandering Trader sells miniature editions of random blocks. Yes, it's the one they have on Hermitcraft, but we have removed the Hermit heads from the setup.
    • In addition to the decorative heads, we also have a very nice system made by Caoimhin that allows us to create customized weapons and armour! A lot of these weapons are custom made by our community, and we sometimes have competitions to build new models! This feature requiring using a resource pack, and you'll also need OptiFine if you want to see the armour. The default textures will not be changed in any way; you can still have your regular diamond sword.
    • Some additional small tweaks.

    All of these datapack setups do not alter vanilla gameplay other than a few minor, tedious features, and they're completely optional. We hope you like our special setups and we're always open to suggestions!

    As we have mentioned in the rules, we request that you be mature. The age limit is set to 18+, but it isn't a requirement. All we ask is that you be a mature, open-minded person. We are open to taking in people from all ages, whether it's 14 or 40. We are very widely spread, with many people from the US, many from Europe, and a few from Australia. The goal of our server is to create a friendly, happy community, full of people from all over the world with completely different backgrounds and ideas.

    We strive to make a tight-knit community, and again, we really want to see you active and participating in community discussions and events!

    Project MCUltra [Vanilla]{1.16.1}{Whitelist}{SMP}{Java}{21+}

    Hello all and welcome,

    Project MCUltra is my attempt at creating a community-oriented server with people who want to chill and have a good time outside of work, school, and other real-life responsibilities.

    Since MCUltra launched last Wednesday (07/01), we now have ~20 players whitelisted, with at least 10 being active. Generally after the work day (4-7pm EST), we will have ~10 players online with some playing late into the night.

    On the first day, I immediately migrated our world to a new server after realizing the old hardware couldn't handle the players doing what they need to in 1.16.1. Now our server can handle 10 people flawlessly, and in an attempt to recreate vanilla experience for each player, I have upgraded our server from the Vanilla jar to Paper - this means individual mob pools and increased chunk loading efficiency, giving everyone a lag free experience!

    This week looks promising for developing an economy and should be a fantastic time to get started - one of our members even prepared a plot of land for a shopping district. Our community has a great mix of casual, knowledgeable, and helpful players.

    The server is located in the US and is as close to vanilla as can be with a few QOL datapacks installed. These include:

    • Afk Display
    • Anti-Enderman Grief
    • Armour Statues
    • Coordinates Hud
    • Double Shulker Shells
    • Multiplayer Sleep
    • Player Head Drops
    • Silence Mobs
    • Track Raw Statistics
    • Track Statistics
    • Wandering Trades

    In the spirit of vanilla, there will be no ops or server commands used unless something is seriously broken.

    If somebody is breaking any of the following rules with proof or testimonies from other members, a ban council will be formed and the accused will be put on trial.

    The rules are as follows:

    • No griefing, hacks, cheating or stealing
    • PvP of any sort should be agreed upon by both parties
    • Don't be a complete dick

    **Who are we?**

    We're a group of friends from all over the world, primarily Europe and the USA. We run Thugcraft together as a group, with a flat management structure.
    **Why did we start Thugcraft?**

    We wanted a vanilla Minecraft server to play on, without any restrictions, over complicated rules, or abusive mods. The server just turned three years old in February 2020 and we're on our fourth season as of March 2020.
    **Who are we looking for?**

    Corona CTF is a pure capture the flag server. We offer a deep, rich, class-based PvP experience with a host of custom-coded abilities that add a new layer to 1.15.2 combat.     We just started a new 1.16.1 world (a week ago), and our player base is looking for some new building buddies!

    Saturian folk are a diverse bunch, from young parents, an old parent, students, the gainfully employed, the gainfully unemployed, anyone is welcome as long as they are over 18 and follow the one rule; Don't be a dick. If you want drama free, chill times, but within a fun vibrant community, our server might be for you! If you don't, go away.

    The admin team let the server run as the community want, only stepping in when there is a problem. We all play the game just like the rest of you, if we want to travel somewhere in world, we run. If we want to find something, we hunt. The only times we step in is if there is a problem and someone is upset. If we feel something significant needs to happen we always try to consult the community. The server doesn't belong to the admin team, it belongs to those who play on it.

    We are vanilla as much can be. We have good grief protection and identification. We run a small plugin that stops creeper damage (on servers you end up with pot holes everywhere, or someone accidentally damage your work, nobody likes that), Beside that, everything else is under the hood and you won't know its there!

    The Quarantine is survival server that started at the beginning of the Corona outbreak. There are no rules. The server gives players the freedom to experience Minecraft the way the original developers intended. A community has been formed and various groups fight for control of the server. You may use hack clients. We have a developed nether highway system with cardinal and diagonal highways including ring roads and even a map. If you would like to be part of the fun join in and see what you can build or destroy.

    We're a whitelisted community that hosts a semi-vanilla survival Minecraft Java Edition server (currently on 1.16.1) for our members to play on. Our community is aimed towards English-speaking members located within the UK and Europe. This is a server where you will be able to build large, long-term projects with other community members without fear of a world-reset. Our shopping district has come along well, we have a variety of shops established by our members selling all kinds of books, shulker-boxes, Elytras and a lot of resources! We've hosted a few in-game community events over Easter, including an Egg Hunt as well as a "Secret Bunnies" event where everyone secretly exchanged gifts, set up pranks, and even treasure hunts. Our community is creating more mini-games, improving our shopping district, working on a quad-witch farm and are looking to set up travel hubs, and more community builds in the near future! We're specifically looking for more builder-oriented players that would like to contribute to future community builds (spawn, travel hubs, etc), in a survival setting. As well as those that like to make their own pretty base builds, towns, etc.

No one will be given the ability to spawn in items or use creative mode for building (including admins and mods). Use of Optifine/Fabric/Forge, Resource Packs, Shaders, and UI/UX improving mods for your client is allowed - unless it conflicts with the above rule. PvP is enabled on this SMP server, but its primary purpose is for mini-games or duels between players that all consent to it.     Skits Prisons is a server created by passionate Prison players looking to breathe new life into the Classic Prison format. As described in this popular Reddit post, we spent a long time brainstorming about what issues classic prisons had faced & why they died out, and then we invested months of our time into trying to craft the best classic prison server we possibly could. We think we have done a pretty good job!

    Skits takes the classic prison server and refreshes it with a 2020 build design, new custom plugins & game mechanics, and rewarding gameplay. Work your way through the 5 main prison blocks - A, B, C, D, and Elite, to eventually become Free and gain access to the main world. But your journey doesn't stop there - you can then brave the Hardcore Blocks and conquer all the dimensions Skits has to offer to become a Citizen, and purchase your own protected 250x250 town.

    Outside of the prison (and the free world), the server still has more cool new features to keep you interested - including the Halfway Estate, where prisoners in D Block or better can purchase and upgrade Halfway Houses, and the Recreational Facility, where can engage in fun minigames during their downtime.

    We launched approximately a month ago and we are constantly updating the server and releasing new content. Recently released updates include a revolutionary clan system and non-OP custom enchants. Future planned updates include implementing a prestige system to improve the longevity of the server beyond Citizen (although we believe towns will be a major reason to stay!), and more.

    3. (Maintenance) Gunfight Duels: Duel your opponents solo or in teams in this ultra-tactical slower-paced shooter, using stealth and silenced snipers to outplay your opponents. Breach through walls and shatter glass to get to your opponents and eliminate them!
    4. Zone Conquest: An ElytraForce twist on a classic minecraft gamemode, this capture-the-point gamemode revolves around super fast paced run-and-gun gameplay mixed with capturing points (duh). Use grapple hooks and pulse miniguns to eliminate the enemy team long enough for you to take over one of 3 points on the maps, while keeping an eye out for enemy Classes that counter your own!
    5. DungeonRaids: This soon to be released gamemode will feature mob-arena like gameplay mixed with MMO style dungeon clearing. Clean out Blocks and Regions filled with custom enemies armed with swords, magic, and guns with your own high-tech weapons, all the while fighting against the Raid Timer which threatens to reset your progress if it hits 0.
    6. Trouble in Traitor Town: A minecraft version of the Garry's Mod classic, this gamemode revolves around a sneaky group of Traitors trying to backstab you. Fight them off with your guns and rely on the Detective to find out who the traitors are, or take it into your own hands and try to hunt for them yourself!

    Pinnacle SMP is a small private Minecraft server loosely based on the Hermitcraft style of gameplay. We have few plugins but a variety of datapacks such as Timber and More Mob Heads to help keep the game a bit more interesting. We also have a Dynmap to view the world while you're away, and a plugin that lets you chat with players on the server from discord! We even have a nice shopping district with storefronts available for people to use, or they're welcome to make their own. There are no claim plots, but we have plugins to easily track and undo any griefing or theft that may have taken place. Also, this server is intended to be long term but if we ever do go offline, we'll post a world download so you can choose to keep playing.
