About us We are a community that has been playing Minecraft together for just over 3 years at this point. We like to keep our server a friendly and welcoming place. Our staff is passionate about the game, dedicated to the community and will work hard to ensure we are around for years to come. We will have someone available to help you around the clock no matter how big or small your problem is and they will help you in a mature, professional manner.
We will not have another reset until either no one is still playing on the map or we are forced to because of another update that changes biomes. We strive for an experience as close to Vanilla Survival as Minecraft will allow in multi-player. All installed plugins serve an administrative purpose. No plugins have been installed in order to limit or enhance gameplay. We use Coreprotect and Prism for logging block and chest transactions, this will help guard you against unwanted theft and griefing. The average age on the server is around 21. We usually have about 30 members online at any given time but have peaked as high as 135. Our server runs a greylist so feel free to drop in and check us out. About Straight Up Survival Straight Up Survival or SUS has been operating since 2012. Our current map was started September 8th 2018 (Season 7) We created the server after some of our favorite servers closed and we were unable to find the same game style. We are a Raiding-Survival server with very little moderation. We allow raids, PVP, and griefing. On Straight Up Survival you cannot protect/claim land or chests so your best protection from raids/grief is to build far out in our 75k x 75k world (37,500 blocks from 0,0) and to build smart. Straight Up Survival is a somewhat anarchy style server with some limited moderation. Play your way on SUS. Grief and raid, hide and collect, design and construct, enchant and pvp, it's up to you. There is no loot-box system, no recurring cost to maintain your rank, and no purchasable gameplay advantages! Waypoints- Rather than having resource-hogging Dynmaps or easily exploitable /home and /spawn plugins, our server has a completely unique map system: waypoints. Located in spawn is a full, semi-live map of the entire survival overworld, with each map tile teleporting you to a waypoint in that region! Players settling in that tile can even move and design their own waypoints no commands or weird block-placing setups needed! Raid World- Located on a floating zeppelin in spawn is a portal to an entirely separate survival world known as the Raid World. This allows for a functionally infinite supply of many otherwise-scarce resources and structures such as elytra, mansions, and sea temples, without having to constantly expand the main map. This also allows us to reset the world for new seeds, biomes, and structures at will without having to reset any player bases or builds! Server-wide Events- We have a variety of server events planned for different holidays, gamemodes, and vanilla milestones, with our first planned event being The End Raid! (End Raid event date TBD) What do we have planned for the future? On top of all the existing features we have, we will constantly be looking to add new worlds, games, and events to our server to keep it active and fun. Here are some of the additions we are currently working on or considering for the future:
An integrated flat map for players to design and build in without having to jump between single-player worlds and the server.
A queue-based, Automatically resetting UHC world to allow both coordinated events where winners receive prizes in the main world, and impromptu, player-driven events.
A weekly rotating spotlight for vanilla game maps such as building games, parkour maps, and (server compatible) story-based adventure maps to allow players to band together and play through the community-made maps we think are great.
A (mostly) unmonitored, one life only survival world where players can flaunt their survival talents and compete to see who can last the longest against a harsher minecraft world. The world will be available for set periods of times, with any survivors receiving a variety of prizes in the main world. Rules

We began on February 10. The server is hosted by TitanNodes and sports a powerful 6GB of RAM. We ask that you be at least 16, but this is not a deal breaker. Some details about the server include a shopping district where players are able to construct shops to sell their product. This is done informally on a trust system with diamonds as the primary currency. Stealing is an INSTANT ban, and any items stolen will be restored, so your items are safe in your shops. We have an active community with vibrantly different personalities from person to person. Many players choose to play with friends and family. Most players are working on their bases and building farms, as the server is still new. We defeated the ender dragon as a community event and hope to do community projects and events in the future.
