I'm DH75 the owner and would like to recruit experienced Minecraft players to a new community I hope to help thrive. As mentioned in the title of this post, this server is brand new as of June 4th, 2019. That means this server is a fresh 1.14.2 Minecraft world and starting a brand new community. My goals with this new server is help build a close knit community like we used to see back in the good days of Minecraft with servers like Mindcrack and Hermitcraft (which are obviously still going to this day). I also want to promote server builds like nether hubs, an attractive spawn, farms, etc. I'm aiming for this server to have a good 15-20~ people. This isn't some 200+ player server, that's too hectic for me. I'm open to suggestions and feedback, always feel free to message me both before and after you're accepted into the server. Other information about me as a Minecraft player and new server owner. I've been playing Minecraft since beta 1.7 when pistons came out and have done it all in terms of community servers, survival worlds, YouTube videos, you name it. I was also part of a close knit community back in the day called the Vortex Server which ran for several years and is what I hope to embody with this server. I'm 22 years old and love to build anything from community builds, farms, and home bases. Other Server Information: The server will be running on 1.14.2 and will update in according to Minecraft update releases. Snapshots may be implemented depending on stability and community discussion. The server's seed will be public so everyone can go to their desired locations. I won't spoil the seed here or on the discord unless it's requested by one of you. The seed will contain a spawn in a plains biome so that an attractive spawn is easy to create. I also picked the seed to be generally close to all the other biomes so we're not going 10k blocks to the only mesa. The server is hosted on MCprohosting and is a 2gb server. This may change depending on how the server progresses, but for now I think that's enough. Server Rules: The obvious rules are in place like no griefing, stealing, and unnecessary mischief that has no place in a 18+ server. This means no chat rules, no hack rules (besides flight and excessive walk speed), and griefing is allowed Server IP: I was inspired by the server 2b2t, but I wanted to play with the modern trappings of 1.14 minecraft. I just started the server and am looking for players to really bring the server to life and get the toxicity flowing There will be no bans, or kicks. There will eventually be a queue when the server is full, the current capacity is 100 players and will be increased to 200 as needed. I plan to run this server long term and never reset the map. I have played many minecraft servers and although I appreciate cooperation and friendly speak. I have a craving for complete chaos and absolutely no restraint. After playing 2b2t I knew exactly the direction I wanted to go and created the server in its image. Although I did not like that it was using an older version of minecraft. I wanted to play on the most up to date client, and I will strive to keep the server up to date. Although this will be determined by the plugins that are available at the time. I have on rule, and its no flying or excessive walk speed without a mount. These rules are important so users are not joining and attempting to find other players bases immediately. I am also in need of someone who knows how to configure No Cheat Plus configurations so that I can have a custom configuration made for the server. The rules are as follows: 1. If it's not yours, don't touch it without permission. This includes structures and items. 2. Try not to build too close to other players without permission. 3. Use TNT and explosives responsibly 4. Don't cheat/exploit/hack. Just don't, it ruins the fun. 5. If someone asks you to stop doing something, stop. Try not to be annoying. 6. Where you like making your own builds but at the same time enjoy having some of them be pieces of a larger, community-crafted MC world? Then this may be your server. Freerange Land is a small, ~2-week old, amplified server and we're looking for active players to join. But what makes the server unique from others? Mechanically, apart from a few plugins, not much. We're not trying to be crazy-different. But:
