Project Nebula is a community created by /u/Colinator007 and myself. We started our new map about two weeks ago and are excited with the community we've been building up! However, we'd like to be upfront and say that 1.14 performance is still not very good. We've done the best we can to optimize the server, like disabling intensive datapacks and running PaperMC to assist chunk loading. The reality is that 1.14 has greatly improved performance since launch, but is still running slower than a 1.13 server would! Just thought we'd be transparent about it :) Looks like 1.14.4 will be fixed a huge CPU issue that improved performance greatly quite a bit, though! About Us Colin and I are college students looking to play with new people! We're both engineering students and love to fiddle with redstone and farms. But we also love building beautiful structures and planning a nice base, and just generally hanging out and relaxing with some games. We encourage all playstyles and love to see the creative ways you guys play this game! We have experience hosting multiple servers in the past, such as Colincraft and Nebula Network, and have joined/played on many servers, too. Our goal is to not only create an active Minecraft server, but an active community and group of friends as well. The Crafters Dimension is a vanilla server made to embrace the original style of the game in a relaxed way, with a friendly bunch of other players. Our server is a community based server looking for new and dedicated players! It has at least 20 active members per day and the numbers are growing. We do not have land claim or other protection plugins and our players trust each other. In case of griefs, we have roll-back plugins which can return griefed areas to previous states and allow us to punish those responsible for griefs. We also do not have any borders at all and we do not limit players in their builds. You can build whatever you want, the only thing is that it should not intefere with anyone elses' bases. This current map was started in the second quarter of 2019 and will not start any new maps. There is still a lot of place to build, even at the Spawn town. If you are worried about players having god armour and god tier items, do not worry. There are some, but most of our player base are casuals who are still grinding. Join them and compete! Rules: 1. Respect others' properties 2. Don't grief or take anything from chests. In the case of a grief we have rollback plugins to ensure the safety of peoples builds. Rollback plugins, along with some chat plugins are the ONLY plugins the server has. 3. Don't abuse PVP 4. Keep structures nice looking and realistic 5. The server has a trust-based payment system in shops. The currency is mostly diamonds but you can put your own currency and quantity on the chest of what you are selling. Of course, this server is a Greylist server. This means that you are allowed to log on, explore, and talk to other players, but if you want to build or destroy blocks, you must fill out an application. An application link is also listed below. You need to fill out 5 short questions which will not take longer than 3 minutes. After that you can join the server and roam around. There are high chances someone from the staff team will be online and review your application so you can start playing as soon as possible. About Me: I have been playing Minecraft since the end of 2010 and have played on a couple of SMP servers in my time. After all those years I decided to create a server which I can call my own and where I can build a community with random internet strangers. What I Expect The Server To Be: I want to create a server which has a tight-knit, mature and fun community. It will follow the HermitCraft and Mindcrack Server system of seasons where after a certain time period all the server members will get to vote if we should reset the map and start a new season. The world will be uploaded to a Online-Cloud before the server resets where you can download it if you want to look at your old builds. About The Server: Currently the server has no members yet and is completely unbuilt and unexplored so if you are looking for a server that has literally nothing yet and want to see the server evolve over time this server might be for you. We have some plugins that will make the SMP experience better in my eyes. These are: PhantomSMP, SinglePlayerSleep and Dynmap. If you want to have a pure vanilla experience then please look for a different server. I want to start the server as soon as possible, but it all depends on how many submissions I receive. The Rules: 1. This is a friendly SMP server, we don't want any toxicity towards other members neither on the server nor discord, joking around is fine. 2. No scamming and no Griefing others builds, this will result in a whitelist removal. 3. If you and another/other player/s are roleplaying then scamming/griefing is allowed between those parties. 4. Pranking eachother is fine aslong as it does not destroy any part of the other persons build or make them lose items. Pranks have to be signed by the perpetrator/s. 5. Hacks of any sort are prohibited, if you are caught using any you will instantly get a whitelist removal and a ban from the discord. 6. If you want to use someones private farm ask them first, there will be plenty of public farms. 7. Using game breaking glitches or duplication glitches (except a tnt duper for a world eater/clearing perimeters, but maybe ask the admin first before the server has a nuclear meltdown) are forbidden. 8. Spawn will be seen as the community central. Temporary bases are allowed but it will be better to venture out and leave spawn open for shops and community projects.. 9. If you are innactive for a noticable time period without notifying the admin or server members you will be removed from the discord and from the whitelist. How Do I Apply For Thetacraft? First of all you have to be atleast 18 years old as I want to establish a mature community as mentioned above. Do you have a microphone? If not then dont consider applying, we will have community events in the future like killing the ender dragon or the wither etc. If you are one of those people who join SMP servers and leave after a few hours please just dont apply. It's a waste of my time and probably also your time. The server is hosted in Europe but if you are from America/other non European countries you are also welcome to apply. SkyFactory 4 is a wonderful skyblock modpack, which brings completely new expirience to Minecraft. I personally like most it's night sky with stars and floating galaxies, which makes you feel like you're in kind of space trip, heh. This modpack is quite popular and even was featured on minecraft.net, so you probably have heard about it. And why am I telling you that? That's because I started new SkyFactory 4 survival server a day ago so that we can play, make fun and chill out together! I've never really played before past creating basic bases but want to play with people I can call friends :) I'm not sure about pvp so I'd prefer pve or adventure, but I'm not opposed! I'm 18 from the uk but to be honest I'm up till about 6am most nights, so time zones don't really effect me :) I hope there's a server for me newb like me to join and learn a bit more with!
