Villagers can be blessed by Conduit Power Posted: 07 Aug 2019 09:29 AM PDT When a Villager enters water, nearby Conduits can give them Conduit Power as if they are players. They have the added benefit of sinking instead of floating, allowing the possibility of populating underwater civilizations. [link] [comments] |
When a charged creeper explode, it should make a ear ringing sound while it exploded. Posted: 07 Aug 2019 02:16 AM PDT When there is a really big explosion in real life your hears start ringing and it's normal, but what would we cool is that, when a charged electric creeper explode near you, you hear this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHTinEcgLn0 You can also add some dizy effect like when you enter the nether. Villagers able to (kind of) defend themselves Posted: 07 Aug 2019 09:20 AM PDT If you hit a villager, it will throw an inc sack at you that gives you blindness when it hits you and run away. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 09:36 AM PDT You would be able to craft a throwable bone (maybe called a dog toy), let's say with a bone and 8 leather. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 04:51 AM PDT If you made an iron golem and then when it kills a hostile mob, that mob will drop xp and other rare stuff that can only be obtained when it's killed by a player or tamed wolf Conclusion: Mobs will drop xp and other rare drops if they were killed by an iron golem that you made. Posted: 07 Aug 2019 10:26 AM PDT There are 2 1/2 bosses in Minecraft (Ender dragon, wither and the ocean temples). I think they should add a nether boss that's in a SUPER nether fortress (a Nether Hydra) and for the ocean it should be in Atlantis and it should be a kraken or Cthulhu (there should be a "cult of Cthulhu" filled with villagers and there's a map that leads to the ocean and it takes you to Atlantis) I'm asking a lot I know but I think it would be cool [link] [comments] |
When a sapling drops from a tree there should be a small chance that it plants itself Posted: 07 Aug 2019 06:18 AM PDT |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:23 PM PDT Obsidian bricks are blast proof and can only be broken by diamond pickaxes. It is black in color and can be used to make a neather portal. This could be a great decoration block for neather builds. [link] [comments] |
Make ocean more deadly; add an ocean current Posted: 07 Aug 2019 10:56 AM PDT Basically some parts of the ocean near the shore will be a current, like a wide path of flowing water underneath the surface. It pulls a player stronger than regular flowing water and sucks them into the ocean, where drowned's will wait. -Small chance of pulling boats as well -The only way to escape is to wait until the current path reaches an end, or trying to swim perpendicular to the current. Players will make VERY slow progress swimming against it. -The current path ranges anywhere between 10-25 blocks in length (outward to the ocean) and 3-6 blocks in width. -Drowned's will wait toward the end of the current, where they can attack. This is mainly to add a sense of danger to the ocean, and help drowned's. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:17 PM PDT If you sneak the sit button will make it start guarding until you make it unguard. When a dog is guarding it will sit until a pillager, zombie, skeleton, player that it or villager gets to close. Then it will chase It up to 10 blocks away then walk bake to the block the owner set him to guard on. This would be great to protect your house from enemies and add a bit of life to mans best friend a little more ai. [link] [comments] |
Three leads in a straight line make a length of rope. Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:16 PM PDT You could do a lot with a rope in minecraft. Pulley systems, anchor bridges, rope swings, rope ladders like cargo nets, rope traps for mobs like zombies, skeletons, spiders, or creepers. [link] [comments] |
When Iron golems kill monsters, they should have a level up mechanic like villagers. Posted: 07 Aug 2019 03:18 PM PDT Experience SystemThe way it would work is that different mobs have different experience values for iron golems. For example, a zombie would give 10 experience to the Iron Golem. When it reaches the required amount of exp, it levels up. LevelsAll iron golems (player built) would start at level 1 while village golems would start at level 2 or 3. Every time an iron golem levels up, it would have increased health and attack strength. Every 3 levels would give it a random piece of armor specifically made for iron golems and the maximum level would be level 15. ArmorThis would only be armor of steel or chain mail (to prevent it from being overpowered) and cannot be crafted. The armor would have some of the moss decay like an iron golem and also obviously protects the iron golem even more and as said before, would only be granted every 3 levels. I'll add anything else that I find interesting. ExtraWhen an iron golem levels up, there is a little animation that plays and the golem gets a bit bigger. When the iron golem dies, it drops the special armor which can be equipped to another iron golem. However, the iron golem on the receiving end would have to be level 3 for 1 price of armor, 6 for another all the way to level 15. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 03:15 PM PDT Currently pigs are the worst farm animals I believe. Every other animal has something nore than meat to offer, but not pigs. I thought about adding new mushroom type: Truffles! Truffles would be a rare mushrooms that appear bit very deep underground. They would be an ore block but inside of dirt instead of stone. Truffles would give you big amounts of saturation and would be expensive for villagers. They would not be renewable as they can't be planted. Additionally pigs would dig to in the ground and eat the truffles. You could also tame pigs with them. Tamed pigs would have follow and sit option like dogs. They would also dig, but leaving the truffle for you to obtain. When finding a truffle they would do an loud eating-like sound. Saddles on tamed pigs would work like on horses. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 05:14 AM PDT They grow only on Jungle trees and are usually found at the very top of Jungle trees. This makes breaking them dangerous, cause of height. There is a red variant of banana, this is just cosmetic, and is rarer than normal bananas. A red banana will also give out a redstone signal as a joke cause its colour is red. Bananas can be fed to the following mobs: Wolves (cause they are omnivorous) Parrots (greatly increases trust) Possibly pigs Aside from that, you can use the leftover banana peel after eating it to place it on the ground. If a mob or another player walks on it, he or she will begin sliding straight forward in whatever direction regardless of surface block, and receive a heart of damage for smashing into a block. The banana peel can be broken and then thrown away in lava or whatever "trash bin" you have that destroys items or dispenses items. And speaking of dispensing, if a dispenser dispenses a banana, it comes out as a banana (unless fully eaten, then it will be the peel itself) and create a banana splatter, which can be used for some funny things. Bananas have a full 3D model, and are entities, which means they obey gravity and have physics. Their physics are deactivated when placed on a jungle tree so they can grow. Gathering bananas drops 0-2 banana seeds, which can then be placed on banana trees to grow into bananas, or fed to chickens. They also drop 1-2 bananas. Bananas may give a regeneration effect, but this is a 1 in 10 chance. Amount of hunger when eaten depends on how ripe it is: Not ripe - 0.5 hunger Half ripe - 1 hunger Fully ripe - 2 hunger You can also use Banana Peels to make Yellow dye or Red dye depending on their colour variants. They can also be used as compost, as well as bananas. [link] [comments] |
Countercurrent & Funneling: Water-themed enchantments for bows and swords Posted: 06 Aug 2019 09:18 PM PDT Countercurrent (Bow): Arrows ignore properties of water and fly faster than in air. Mutually exclusive with Flame. Funneling (Sword) (I-III): Minimal attack cooldown in water. Mutually exclusive with Fire Aspect. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 11:12 AM PDT Netherite - Found in the nether in clumps if 1-3 spawns anywhere quartz can, has orange bronze ish look. When you mine it you get Netherite essence which when combined with gold get netherite ingot which can be crafted into all the usual tools except with special effects. All tools will be crafted with blaze rods instead of sticks. Swords deal fire damage. Pick axe autosmelts ores and blocks for you. Axe deals fire damage but has the potential to burn down trees. All tools are faster and have same durability as iron. Armors will be a bit stronger then iron and will give you immunity to fire and lava. End ore - found in the end of clumps of 1-4 but extremely rare. Light purple with somewhat of a sparkle to it. You get end ore essence from it and when combined with obsidian you get end ore ingot. You would craft normal tools but they'd be incredible stronger and more durable. When crafting you use end rods instead of sticks. Armors is stronger then diamond and gives slowfalling. Also all the armor have special looks. I thought netherite armor could look like the fire resistant armor in legend of Zelda botw, while end ore armor would look like obsidian with purple spikes/ horns coming out of it. Posted: 07 Aug 2019 04:40 PM PDT Putting wheat, carrots and seeds in the hand of an armor stand should attract animals, I know many players have problems trying to split farms so why not be able to use your armor stand to attract 50% of the animals! [link] [comments] |
Looting and fortune enchants should affect dropped xp Posted: 07 Aug 2019 04:55 AM PDT If you have looting on your own sword and if you killed any mob using it then it will increase the amount of xp that is dropped and this depends on what looting level you got, also the same thing works with fortune on pickaxes because it'll increase the amount of xp that you get when mining a coal, redstone, lapis, diamonds, emerald or nether quartz ore. Posted: 07 Aug 2019 03:52 PM PDT Ok so gonna try write this like an entry from the wiki. Mob name Pigeon spawning Spawns in areas with high tree density, in groups of 1-3 Will also spawn in villages with a bird house in groups of 3-5 Drops 1-2 feathers, up to 3 XP Behaviour flys Will move into (yes into) a leaf block at least 5 blocks from any other "marked" leaf block, then it will build a nest inside the leaf block (changing texture and "marking" it) and will go into love mode as soon as another pigeon gets close, then it will lay eggs in the nest (same look as chicken eggs but a little greyer) after 1 day the eggs will hatch and 2-3 chicks will be in the nest texture (making a chick like noise) The 2 parent pigeons will then find a nearby grass and peck at it, with a chance to reveal seeds which they will take to the nest every 5 mins (not at night), after 4 "feedings" 1-3 pigeons will spawn within 2 blocks of the nest. The player can subvert this by feeding one of the parents seeds. After new pigeons are spawned if the player provided at least 2 of the feedings the parent it fed first will be tamed. Tamed pigeons can be told to sit and can be fed seeds. Tamed pigeons will follow a player, when a player is in combat or near a hostile mob a pigeon will fly 5 blocks above the player for safety, If seeds are thrown by a player onto a solid block near a tamed Pidgeon it will go and eat it, there will be a particle affect. If at a later time the player feeds the Pidgeon the same type of seed it will go to that block (only XZ coordinates) always staying close enough for player to follow. The bird house is a wooden craftable structure that birds like to stay in Bird house. If any seeds are put into a bird house all pigeons owned by that player will come to the bird house. If pigeon dies while nest/chicks are still not completed the nest stays and the next pigeon to spawn in the area will go to that one and complete it If the nest leaf block is destroyed 1-3 eggs will drop to the floor (identical properties to chicken eggs) Parrot update Parrots now look at the mobs they imitate, even if they are through walls (meaning if you can hear mobs in your mine but cant tell what direction they're in just go get your trusty parrot and have it point them out (kind of like a canary in a mine but without the dying bit)) The downside to the pigeon is it is useless to players who dont consider pulling up your coordinates cheating, but for those who do or are playing bedrock on console its a great way to rediscover places you had to leave prematurely. Posted: 07 Aug 2019 04:56 AM PDT Add some more uses for lecterns! Some examples: 1. Make it so you can copy books like how on the cartography table you can copy maps 2. Make it so you can change the font colour and size of a book on a lectern [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Aug 2019 01:02 PM PDT There are a lot of cat breeds, but there are so many that could be used that would, at least in my opinion, spice up the game. For instance, colder environments could have persians and manx cats while warmer environments could have more short haired cats like Egyptian maus or sphinxes (Which were ironically bred in Canada. Poor kitties). Another trait would be a slight chance for mutation to occur when breeding. Like say, there might be a one-in-whatever chance that one of the cats will be a Scottish fold or resemble more wild breeds or even species of cats, such as fishing cats or black-footed cats. Tumbleweeds could be introduced to badland/mesa biomes. Posted: 06 Aug 2019 06:18 PM PDT You stumble upon a mesa biome out in the middle of nowhere. It's desolate and as you are walking, you see something rolling on the ground in front of you. Curious as to what it is in this biome, you discover its a ball of dried grass and a dead sapling that has formed into a ball. It's a tumbleweed. It would add an aesthetic to the landscape that is already desolate. [link] [comments] |
