Looting causes larger slimes to split more than usual

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 05:11 PM PDT

As looting causes mobs to yield more material, slimes should have a higher chance to split into more slimes (though keeping a maximum of four), as it makes logical sense, and would allow players looking for slimes (in swamps or underground) to yield more slime with looting rather than getting like 1-2 slimeballs per minislime killed.

    Nautilus Shield

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 11:07 AM PDT

This would tie in with my last post about turtle shell shields, link for that here: https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/dnlr62/turtle_shell_shields/

So, the crafting recipe would be a shield surrounded by nautilus shells. This would be the endgame shield, if the normal shield was the first one, turtle shell shield as mid-game and nautilus shell as end-game. They would be able to shoot arrows back farther, have higher durability and while in water, you move faster and get a second breathing bar. You would also move faster while crouching with it

    Protection Enchantment "Buff"

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 06:45 AM PDT

Thanks to u/SickGangstaJacob for giving me this idea.

So, put simply, this would allow for multiple kinds of protection on a single piece of armor.

Now, to balance this out, you would only be able to have a maximum of 4 levels of protection. For example, if you have protection 3, you can only have fire/blast/projectile protection 1, for a total level of 4 on that armor.

Overall, I think this would be more of a nerf, sice getting a specific kind of protection 4 armor would be more difficult, since getting a level of a different kind of protection would ruin your ability to get one of them to level protection 4.

Please let me know if this still seems OP, or if you can think of any way to abuse this. If you need clarification, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best to help you understand.

Treasure Enchantment for Shields - Fortitude (w/ Picture for Reference)

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 01:02 PM PDT

Holding out the enchanted shield for three seconds will deploy three hovering, translucent shields (hereon referred to as spectral shields), one to your left, one to your right, and one behind the player.

These spectral shields will move with you as long as you continue to hold out your shield in front of you.

After one of the spectral shields stops an attack in its tracks, that individual spectral shield will blink out of existence, once again leaving that side exposed.

All spectral shields vanish if your actual shield is not in use.

To redeploy the spectral shields, you must pull back your shield then hold it forward for the allotted time once again.

Again, keep in mind that you can still easily be hit from the top or bottom, that using your shield still slows you to a crawl, and that you must expose yourself entirely before redeploying the full effect again. Crossbows with the Piercing enchantment still bypass these spectral shields. You are not invincible.

Here's an admittedly clunky test image.

The book would have the same rarity as Frost Walker and Mending. If it's not something you'd use, that's fine, to each their own.

When a bee is pollinated, there's a chance its pollen will grow a new flower

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 09:25 PM PDT

For example, say a bee obtains pollen from a Blue Orchid. Once that bee is pollinated, there's a chance that a new Blue Orchid will be planted underneath the bee as it flies. (So long as it's a grass block beneath the bee.) This would work for all flower types; if the bee gets its pollen from a Poppy, then it would plant a Poppy instead.

This give bees another use, allows players to obtain flowers without having to destroy the environment, and matches with reality; in real life bees are very important to the reproduction process of flowers.

    FERRETS/WEASELS IN MINECRAFT!

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 02:40 PM PDT

Maybe it's time for a new pet mob ! I was thinking a ferret of some sort since we have rabbits and foxes. The wild counterpart (like a wolf/dog) would be a weasel and would be found in any regular forest (birch , dark oak etc.) and might spawn like cats in villages found in these biomes. They would be tamed using beetroot or rabbit hide (one of the two) and can be fed to keep health up or breed using beetroot. Wild foxes will attack weasels and weasels will attack rabbits. Weasels will also occasionally steal your crops or kill livestock. Benefits of having a ferret would include adorable animations (similar to pandas rolling over) , they give you a (dirt) digging speed boost and will give you stuff occasionally (like cats). They will also steal stuff and carry it in their mouths. Depending on which forest biome depends on their fur colour. A regular forest biome with oak will spawn a regular sable ferret. A dark oak one will spawn a black ferret. A birch forest will spawn a white ferret.

Villagers wont trade with you if you hit them.

Since hitting a villager is the only way to annoy a villager, a villager shouldn't trade with you if you hit them three times.

    Piglin chief

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 02:05 PM PDT

The piglin chief is the real nether boss it would spawn in the piglins home base and would be a giant piglin with a hoglins head instead of a piglin head and a bunch of really cool golden armor and a giant gold hammer. This boss wouldn't attack you unless you hit it then it would make a giant squeal that could be heard by eny player in the Nether and eny glass in a 10 by 10 aria will break then it will attack with its giant hammer and would have 3 attack. The first is the slam a attack where it picks its hammer up in the air and slam the player destroying a 3 by three aria and sending you flying. The second attack is the charge at you and breaking eny block that isn't obsidian, bricks,or of course bedrock. So you can't just get up on a pillar and just pepper it with arrows. The third is one of the hardest to stop it will send a bunch of piglins after you. If you choose to not fight it it will barder a banner with a piglin on it when you hold this special banner piglins wouldn't attack you even if you weren't wairing gold armor. But if you do kill it you will get its gold hammer witch does alot of damage and hurts mobs in a three by three aria but gives you slowness and the hammer has a really slow recharge speed so you can't just spam click it.

The Gold Golem: The Piglin War Machine

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 02:04 PM PDT

The Golden Golem (Or Gold Golem) is a quick, tall, and slouching golem that is made of Gold. Generally, these things look polished but look more inhuman or insane, unlike how Iron Golems are composed.

These things will not go for kills. Instead, they act as supports, altering potion effects thrown at the Piglins and knocking back enemies attempting to harm them. They may also knockback enemies as a shock attack.

    Attack Pattern

The Gold Golem will stand still for around 1-3s. Afterwards, it will do a quick (nonvisible) search. It has branches of what happens from here.

    1) Piglins are attacking something.

In this situation, the Gold Golem will attempt to knock it in the direction of the Piglins if it is fleeing, or away from the Piglins if it is attacking the Piglins.

    2) You are holding an enchanted item, or wearing one.

The Gold Golem will upgrade a random enchantment on the item(s), but give each item it upgraded a curse. It will have the Curse of Midas, forcing it to have the durability of a golden tool and become irremovable from your body. You can prevent this by applying a different curse on your items. It will not upgrade or curse your items if there is already a curse on it.

    3) The Piglins have a potion effect on them.

The Gold Golem will make a motion similar to lifting, and remove the potion effect. After that, the Gold Golem will take the potion effect for them.

    How to make one

This is a different golem to make.

First, you must make an Impure Gold Golem by putting 3 Gold Blocks on top of each other and a Pumpkin on top. This creates an Impure Gold Golem, which is actually hostile to you. It will act as a Gold Golem, but only attacks and attacks much more frequently.

To purify it, you must throw a potion of weakness, then a golden apple. This is similar to purifying a Zombie Villager. This will purify the Gold Golem, in which case it will act as if you were the Piglin.

    /gravity command

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 10:36 PM PDT

It controls the gravity of the world.

    /gravity < strength:int >, < enabled true:false >, < direction:float >, < invert true:false >

Strength modifies how strong or weak the gravity is for the entire world. Affects only the loaded chunks you are in. If left blank, it will be default. Cannot be negative.

Enabled does what it says, if set to true, gravity will be enabled in your world, if set to false, gravity will be disabled, thus entities will float as if weightless.

Direction (optional), sets the direction of the gravity. Can be set to negative values. If typed as 360 or -360, it will register as 0 degrees.

Invert (optional) sets if the world gravity is reversed or not. True means gravity will reverse in direction. If left as false, the gravity will be normal.

Since gravity affects fluids, fluids will not flow if the gravity is turned off. When gravity is reversed, the direction of the flow of liquids (up/down) will reverse. Also affects particles.

    Useable in Creative Mode.

The Void will always use the same gravity settings as if the command was not used.

    Slow Falling Minecart

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 01:08 PM PDT

The crafting recipe for this would be a mine cart surrounded by phantom membranes. This mine cart would fall at 1/5 of the speed of a normal mine cart and would be incredibly useful for redstone contraptions. It would also be hilarious to see someone floating down on a mine cart from the sky XD.

    An interesting redstone idea

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 02:55 PM PDT

So my idea is to add a lot of features to redstone, there's gonna be alot of stuff here, do have that in points: 1. Adding the thig called the clocker, tired of makig complicated clocks stuff? Well fear no more, because this gonna save you a lot if you're not very into redstone, to craft it you will need reapeater in the middle at the bottom section redstone in the corners and comparators in other tiles. The clocker have the other fastest reaction of 1 tick and slowest reaction of even 20 ticks! The clocker would save the newbies and guys not into redstone as i said ealier. 2. Throwing redstone to the furnance will give us hardened redstone, why is that? It cannot be taken down by water, but their pulse is 5 times weakier than original (3 blocks is it's reach), you can't Craft anything like comparators or pistons but you can do a block of that, which is opposite of the redstone block, it will turn redstone off. 3. Using gold blocks in smithing table (actual use for that wow) to power up redstone, just right click on redstone and you have 3 extra blocks, in real life, gold is very good electricity conductor. You will say "but why gold blocks, shouldn't be easier just gold?", This is for avoiding too cheap crafting. 4. The vacoomer is another redstone connected thing, it can take the items through block, when on it 'sucks in' items on 3x3 rate, this is very cheap in crafting and it would save a lot of iron to make rails and to avoid using even more of it for hoppers. The crafting is very simmiliar to the shield, but instead of wood planks you use iron bars and switch 1 iron bar to craft shield with hopper 5. The Stalker, simmiliar to the observer does give pulse when someone moves, but it needs to be a player, mob or water and lava, when something comes near it (it's reach is 10 blocks) it will activate it. Perfect usage for traps or exp farms with mobs.

Sorry for bad english, but i beg you, don't hate, because i'm trying my best to give you information about idea, so you can understand it, i'm not an english person, but i'm still learning. Give your opinions about that

    Splash Potions-Armor effects

    Posted: 28 Oct 2019 11:22 AM PDT

First of all, this concept could be adapted in what ingredients you need to make the Potions to balance the effects.

Splash Potions could effect both you and the armour you are wearing for certain times.

A possibility could be that the duration is shorter or the brewing could change ingredients to balance out the possible OP effects. A new item such as 'gold powder could be added as a new component needed instead or as well as blaze powder or a different type of expensive ore. POSITIVE EFFECTS.

Strength- Decreases the damage you take by X% per armour- This includes and is the same for all types.

Regeneration- Your armour regenerates at an X rate for X seconds. This is the same for all armour.

Instant health- Gives +X% durability points. This includes all armour.

Water breathing- Gives a - X% speed to loose breath. This includes helmet. //or// +X amount of bubbles/air points. This includes helmets.

Night vision- Gives a longer sight and with a 100% vision availability in the centre of the screen.

Swiftness- Increases speed. This includes boots.

Invisibility- Makes armour invisible. This includes all armour.

Slow falling- Slower fall that can be speeded by sneaking. This includes all armour.

    NEGATIVE EFFECTS.

Harming- Decreases the blocked damage by armour by X%. This includes all armour.

Slowness- Decreases the speed of the player by an extra X%. This includes all armour.

Weakness- Increases the durability loss off armour.

Poision- Gradually decreases the durability of the armour. This effects all armour.

Air conduits, a new mode of transportation

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 01:11 PM PDT

Air conduits, a new endgame item

So I've never loved building in survival and the biggest reason is that you sometimes have to build up 50+ blocks to place a single block to add detail, my suggestion is a way to fix that.

new structure the structure would be a rare sky island which would be about as rare as a large ocean ruin and would be found 200-225 blocks above the world. It would have 1-3 chests and a 30% chance to have a heart of the sky (I'm bad at names).

The heart of the sky could be made into an air conduit by placing it into a crafting table and surrounding it in 8 phantom membranes. With this you could surround it with purpur blocks in the same way as prismarine is used to surround an ocean conduit (I chose purpur because it is in end city's where shoulders live who have the closest thing to a sky based enchantment in vanilla Minecraft).

The use for this is its new potion effect: Flight. Flight allows you (in a 25 by 25 block radius) to fly as if you are in creative. It is slower than an elytra with fireworks but more controllable. I also think sneaking to go Down while flying should do equal damage to what would kill you with iron armor on if you hit the ground, I feel this could be legitimately useful in many places such as building and redstone (feel free to change the names I suck at it

Decorative Gold (Walls, Stairs, and Plaques)

    Posted: 27 Oct 2019 01:02 PM PDT

"Kefke, this is not a concise suggestion. Why are you suggesting three completely unrelated things?"

Give me a moment, hypothetical Redditor. I have to build my case up before I get into the meat of it. I promise it makes sense.

While gold certainly has more uses than it used to, it's still best known for having (arguably) the worst tools and armour in the game. Unless someone needs to make a large rail system, they're just not going to use that much gold. However, there is one use for gold in real life that could still be better represented, and that is decoration. From capping pyramids to gold leaf applied on every conceivable kind of furniture, appliance, and art piece, gold has been a decoration and symbol of status throughout history.

With that in mind, I've identified the three blocks used most frequently in decorative building that could be made of gold.

First up, gold walls. Now, crafting recipes aren't too big to me, but I don't think that the cost should be crazy, so I'd either make them out of six ingots, or four ingots with two nuggets in the middle. Otherwise they'd be crafted just like any other fences or walls in the game. Walls are a little more versatile than fences, since the connections of a fence don't look like anything but a fence. Gold walls could be used to put an accent on a building, add gold legs to a table (or make a solid gold table with a pressure plate), and other such creative purposes.

Gold stairs, likewise, should be made out of ingots, not blocks. To compensate, maybe they could craft fewer stairs, but I don't think it's necessary. Once again, nothing too special. If you've seen stairs used in a build, you know how gold stairs would work. Use them as stairs, roofing, etc... One interesting use would be to make simple sculptures.

Finally, we come to Gold Plaques. What is a plaque, you ask? It's a sign, just made out of metal. In real life, plaques are used on significant monuments and buildings, or for important information. The recipe here might have to be a little different than a sign, using both ingots and nuggets, but the purpose is the same. You place a thin gold plate, to which text can be added. Unlike the text on a sign, the text on a plaque should be a dark orange-ish colour, to better look like an engraving. Aside from just providing a fancier way to make signs, Gold Plaques could once again be used in all the creative ways people already build with signs. Add plaques to the sides of a Gold Stair for a sold gold chair to flex on your friends. Use them along the base of a build for decorative trim...or near the top, I don't judge. Find new uses that work with gold, but wouldn't make sense with wood.

The point here is to add new ways to "dress up" a base, and add a touch of opulence, without going the gaudy route and having solid walls of gold blocks (unless that's what you want, then go for it, Uncle Scrooge). Of course, since signs, stairs, and fences are so often used together, just suggesting one without the others is no good.
