The game is a bit of a challenge. Hard difficulty, strong mobs that scale with your equipment, respawning dragon, and bosses that take a group to beat are scattered throughout the world. Exploring the caves and nether are more difficult as well. But there's also a balance to the difficulty. As you level up, your health increases, and you'll get stronger loot to kill the higher level mobs. And when you buy a rank up with gold, you'll be able to tame a pet to help you on your adventure. So our world provides a fun challenge for those who like combat. But of course, the things you build is what really makes the world awesome, and you'll have plenty of tools to do that too. Thanks to Epic World Gen, the world is gorgeous with tons of awesome landscapes to build your home in. Resource gathering is also improved: Your pets can hold stuff, and you'll have an upgradeable backpack for extra storage that persists through death. Cities you create can become safe zones and warp destinations (on request) for peaceful building. Land claims prevent others from messing up your builds, and you can trust other players to help you build. Use the player-controlled auction house to sell extra materials or buy the things you need to continue building. Ever since the server was created earlier this year, we've had some awesome builds populate the world, and we'd love to see plenty more of that. Thirst decrease with time, and can be earned by drinking potions or going in water. - 🔆 Special items, like new potions (Hunger, Haste, Wither, Nausea, Levitation, Blindness...), new armor (fur armor to protect against coldness, sunglasses to protect against blindness when looking at the sun...) - ⛰ Realistic changes : You will be slown down if you stay too long in an icy biome. Our core community started playing on another server, and in order to make some player-driven changes, we decided to open our own server! Our server is running 1.14.4, and we try to make the server experience as fun as possible. One major goal of the staff is to stay out of your way to let you build, so there is very little staff intervention with regards to land you've claimed to begin building. We encourage and allow people to claim land that can become "theirs". To do this, let a staff member know (pink username'd users in TAB menu are moderators), and we'd be more than happy to get your claim setup for you ASAP. Once you claim land, you can build whatever you'd like on it, either by hand, or using World Edit commands. Land claims are never deleted (unless you die for a couple months), and you are more than welcome to claim more land if you feel like expanding later on. Use the World Edit

| Beyond Vanilla - Season 4 [Modded] [SMP] {Forge 1.14.4} {Whitelisted}{18+}{Discord} Posted: 23 Nov 2019 06:21 PM PST Welcome to the newest adaptation of Beyond Vanilla! In previous seasons we have been a purely "Semi-vanilla" server with only a few data-packs and plug-ins that didn't add much of anything besides quality of life changes. We started back in January of 2019 and since then, we've built a warm, mature, always inviting community full of people from all around the world. Our server uses the Forge 1.14.4 version via the Twitch Launcher. If you have never used it and might be interested in joining the server, we have plenty of staff and regular members that would love to help you through the simple process. This is our first attempt at a modded server and we have some great ideas and fun projects to be experienced in the future. A little bit about how the initial start of the world will go is something like this: When players first spawn in, you'll be confined to a relatively large spawn island (525x525). The idea behind this is to have players build up a centralized location for general commerce. Each player will have the option to build a starter home and shops as they move forward. Each week, the world border will expand by a specific amount (this will be decided by the staff team) and from there you will have more areas to explore, pillage, build and more. We also have some fun events and challenges built and designed by our staff team to further the excitement and interest in our world. We are a very build-centric type of server with a central spawn town area designated for shops, starter houses and the like. Not being limited to only the central town, we want to see what kinds of architectural projects our community can establish throughout the world. We have a lot of members that have time consuming jobs and activities outside the world of Minecraft, so if you fear you won't be able to keep up with other players, don't. The point behind the expanding world, is to keep players limited to an extent. Community: What we are looking for in players are like-minded individuals that really want to experience an ever-changing world full of adventure and exploration. If you want to find that one server to spend hours building, mining, exploring, redstoning or even just chatting, this is the place for you. Events: A major addition to this iteration of the Beyond Vanilla server are staff-created, Server-wide, events. These events will follow a set theme for the event and could be based off of any number of things, real-world holidays, a staff's insane desire to play God with the players, or suggestions from the playerbase. The first major event to be held on the Beyond Vanilla Season 4 server will be Christmas themed for example, and play off of the server owner's insane desire to see players go splat. Modpack: Each mod in our server was carefully tested and voted on by our awesome staff team. We added mods that we saw were not huge core-element changing mods. The goal here is to remain as vanilla as we could with some modded aspects. Most if not all of our mods are easy to understand and core-gameplay enhancements, i.e., Biomes O' Plenty adds plenty of interesting biomes for players to get extra creative, Aquaculture adds more depth to fishing and the ocean, Dungeon Crawls adds a more difficult but rewarding challenge, The Midnight adds a scary but also beautiful dimension to explore. We currently have a total of 28 mods in the modpack.. We don't plan on adding anymore huge game changing mods, but we are open to suggestions if you have a simple mod you'd like to see added. Rules:

As 1.14 is fully released, we want to find other people to play with and for this reason we are opening a smp server to play with others which we hope will last a long time.We are excited on doing projects as a community and also build our own bases while maintaining a close-knit community by not just a minecraft server but as a group of friends.
