When a skeleton shoots an arrow, it has a 2% chance to be "out of arrows." For the next 30 seconds, it can't shoot and will run away from the player while sweating. After Mountains, Deserts Should Have A Generation Update Posted: 30 Jun 2020 06:27 AM PDT Water "ponds" shouldn't appear in deserts, for one, and river banks in the desert should be made of coarse dirt beaches. Terrain should look more like sandy hills rather than a beige retint of the plains. Deserts should also be delimited by mountains rather than rivers when possible, making it actually difficult to get water. Spiders (or, cave spiders) should spawn during the day, but remain passive until night. EDIT: Desert sub-biomes should exist, too, to make the place feel somewhat vibrant! An Oasis with a watering hole, a Salt Flat with shrubs and a flat, dead terrain with diorite, maybe even Sandstone Plateaus, the equavalent of small mountains with dirt caves and mobs inside. Posted: 30 Jun 2020 06:43 AM PDT so as we know phantoms are a very controversial mob in minecraft, requiring the players to sleep to avoid it, but i have a solution for players that prefer to be insomniacs. coffee! its simple really, harvest coffee beans from a coffee plant, roast the beans in a furnace, craft it into coffee and drink! poof! all those phantoms are gone, as coffee drives away phantoms as much as sleep does. i think that this item will allow players to stop having to worry about phantoms, because many find it annoying, and with this simple addition we can have the best of both worlds. I figured that if one type of villager recieved a QoL upgrade, it'd be nice to see some others as well. Master level Fishermen may attract more cats (increase cat spawning rate within a certain range of the fisherman for example? I was also considering some other options that were on the frequently posted list. the post is really more about the idea of small quality of life improvements for master level rather than the specific execution. if you have better ideas for specific things the different jobs could do at the master level, I'd love to hear them. Posted: 30 Jun 2020 05:35 AM PDT Since the Basalt deltas constantly have ash particles floating around, I think ash should occasionally fall onto specific blocks, in layers similar to snow. It would be in small patches, not blanketing the whole biome. It would be greyish in colour, and decorative. It should be placed upon generation, and slowly more would fall over time. Perhaps it could be compacted in some way to create coal/charcoal? [link] [comments] |

If the player has it, he will start seeing mobs that aren't there, phantom mobs, simply a figment of his imagination. The mobs would be random, like a normal cow, you come to kill it, but it disappears before you reach it. Now it only sounds like a little inconvenience, but imagine you're crafting in your house, and at the corner of your eye and you see a creeper, your heart skips a beat, you panic trying to press escape, and when you get out, there is nothing. Or you're just exploring and you turns around, and there is a wither behind you, you're confused and scared, you grab your sword to hit him, and he disappears. Posted: 29 Jun 2020 06:23 PM PDT They have 50 health, they are supposed to be beefy and tough yet they look like a cosmetic reskin of a normal piglin. Nothing seems to suggest they will attack you regardless of your armor. And when you see just their head they are hardly recognizable too. They are an exciting addition to the game but I can't help but feel like their appearance is just so anti-climatic. [link] [comments] |

His workstation would be a jukebox, and he could sell/buy various music-related items (for example, music discs or note blocks. He might be able to sell some new music discs that you couldn't get without him or such. He would also buy string and sticks (drumsticks, violin strings? You guys will probably come up with some better ideas haha). Also, he could buy or maybe sell nautilus shells (like a conch shell) as it would make nautilus shells a bit easier to get.
