Dominion is a tight-knit active community of like-minded players who want to experience Minecraft without the limitations of plugins like Towny, Factions or other land claims. We have a heavy focus on community; running weekly events, organizing enormous group projects, letting our players vote on all new changes/additions and more. To keep our server safe from players who seek to troll or grief, we employ a whitelist process that is reviewed by the Admin team. If this post sounds like the right server for you, check the last section for instructions on how to apply! Yesterday, we completely reset out Nether! Now is the perfect time to join us in explorting all that the 1.16 update has to offer! LINKS: OUR FOUNDING PHILOSOPHIES This part is a little wordy I admit, but these are the fundamental 5 pillars which hold our server up, and govern every decision we make. These will always be upheld and used to judge any potential additions or changes in Dominion's future. The Vanilla Experience We are committed to preserving the vanilla Minecraft experience. We will never add any gamemodes and we will never add any plugins which fundamentally make the game different, easier or harder than vanilla. You will never see plugins such as mcMMO or rankings on our server. In addition, while Dominion does provide a Donator rank, this is purely for players who wish to give back and help fund the server. Donator's do not and will not ever receive any benefits beyond priority access to a full server. Transparency We do not keep any secrets! We think it is important for our players to know where their money is being spent and ensure that every penny goes toward running the server and not somebody's grubby back pocket. We will always share how much we make in donations, as well as all associated costs with the running of the server. We are also completely transparent about any community issues that may arise such as dismissal of staff, banning of influential players and integrity changes to how the server functions. Community Voice We always pride ourselves on listening to our community. We welcome feedback and honest opinions and are continuously improving our server and community because of your feedback. If we are ever going to make a change or addition to dominion (be it a new plugin, config change etc) then we run a poll where every member of the community gets to cast a vote. Polled content/changes only take effect if the community votes at a majority 75% approval rating. Playing Together We founded Dominion on this major principal: Create a space for players to play together, not just strangers in the same world. To help foster our close community, we run weekly events, every week for both US and EU time zones. We also have a dedicated space in our Discord for large player ran projects such as modern city districts, gaming districts, special mega farms and more. New Content Now When a new update drops, it can be frustrating waiting for your favorite server to update so that you can enjoy that new content. We purposely run a light weight (almost) vanilla server so that we can give you that new content sooner! GoatZone is an Avatar Semi-roleplay SMP server similar to hermitcraft where you get to become a bender of one of the 4 elements, or perhaps you rebel against the benders and become a Chi blocker? Your faith is up to you. TL:DR: On GoatZone the 4 elements are split up to create their own nations, with their own laws. The way the nations are ruled are decided by a ruler. The server also has a randomly chosen Avatar that can bend all 4 elements and enter the Avatar state. A new Avatar is chosen each month. The server is on Java edition. As a semi-roleplay server, semi, simpelly mean that you are free to play as you want, we are not one of those roleplay servers where you are forced in to a character and has to play a certain way or get kicked out. Semi-rp simpelly mean that there are some Rp elements, like the avatar having to travel the world to learn the 4 elements. We are also currently in a massive need of new staff members, and our staff applications are open! GoatZone requires no mods at all to play! Information on the Avatar GoatZone takes place after the death of Avatar Aang, however instead of having Avata Korra be born, we will have our own avatar. The way this will work is that every month one player will be randomly chosen in the Elemental order that they are chosen in, in the Avatar lore. This being Fire>Air>Water>Earth. This means that every month the Avatar will be randomised, however the only people included in that randomising will be people from the element that comes next. For example, this taking place after the death of Aang, our first Avatar will be a Water bender. Then the month after, an Earth bender will be chosen next, and so on. The Avatar will be able to bend all 4 elements, and also go in to the Avatar state. If this player chose to, they will get the option to travel to all nations to learn the 4 elements. However they do not have to, and can simpelly keep playing like before, with the addition of the avatar state. If they do not travel to learn the 4 elements, they will not be able to bend them, except for their starting element. The avatar can only use their starting element without training, the rest requires training. This means that the Avatar needs to travel by foot between the nations to find a trainer in each element. If the Avatar is killed by a player in the Avatar state, they will lose their Avatar abilities and a new Avatar will be chosen. If this happens, all Avatar spirits will also lose their Discord rank, to simulate the Avatar cycle being destroyed. All past Avatars will also recieve the Avatar Spirit rank in Discord. This will grant them access to the spirit chat, which only Avatar spirits and the Avatar can access. This is to simulate how the Avatar can talk to their past lives. Chi benders and Non Benders can not be chosen as the Avatar. The server Structure The server is divided in to nations, every nation will have their own ruler, an Earth king/queen, a Fire Lord/Lady and so on. These rulers will be able to create their own laws in their nation, and so on. Of course if it gets out of hand Admins will break in, but generally speaking, the ruler decides on everything. As long as it doesn't break the server rules. The players of each nation and element will help eachother build their cities, which should be located accuratelly to the avatar lore using the Coordinates in Minecraft. This meaning, northern things, should be north, and so on. The nations should generally also try to stick to the general design of the people of their element to keep it lore accurate. A ruler can also be challenged to their position by players, and if the ruler loses they lose their position as ruler to that player. The ruler can however deny this challenge. If the Rulers go inactive, their power will be passed on to possible family, if none, it will be up to the people to elect a new Ruler. If players agree that their ruler is doing a bad job, they can also request to overthrow them. This needs to be approved by an admin+. Once approved, players can begin to rebel against their ruler and try to kill them. If someone is a ruler for more than a month, players can request to rebel simpelly because they have ruled for a long time. However if the players are happy with that players rule they can simpelly let them stay. GoatZone also has a variety of other things (apart from bending) to offer you, such as: Crates: Find keys, sell keys, buy keys, trade keys. These keys are used to open crates filled with valuable Custom items, which you can collect and trade with other players. Auction: Sell your items in the auction houses, choose your price, and sell it. You can also buy other players items or bid on them. This is perfect if you wanna auction off one of those rare Custom items you got in your crates. Economy: Earn money, this can be used to bargain with players, or buy things. Banks: Store your money in the bank to make sure you don't drop any death, you will also earn interrest on your money in the bank. Blackjack: Gamble with your money in hopes of maybe doubling it? Or perhaps lose it all? Pets: Collect pets which you can train for different purposes. Element trails: Wanna show off to people that you're a lava bender? Well put on a lava trail and everyone will know! Bounties: Did someone dishonor you? Well put a bounty on their head! (read rule [15]) RP buildings The server offers a variety of RP buildings too. These buildings are building that should be build in all cities, once built, a moderator+ will come and set up what is needed to turn it in to an actual functional building, like a bank, or auction! Here are the rp buildings currently offered: Markets: They are multipurpose shop areas, where you can have different kinds of shops in one place! Auction/Market: This building us used to give players access to the auction, once built, notify an admin+ and they will put a sign which players can right click to access the auction. Petshop/Market: These buildings are a place where you can buy pets! Notify an admin+ and they will put a sign which players can right click to access the petshop. Bank: In the bank you can store your money, which you will over time gain interrest on, which means you will increase your money over time by keeping it in the bank. notify an admin+ and they will put a sign which players can right click to access the Bank. Event portal: This replaces event crates in casinos. These portals will be used to teleport you to event rooms. It can be built out of any material you see fit your nation or city. Jail: Build a jailhouse to put criminals if they break rules of the server, or your city. The server is still in it's early stage, and for anybody who loves building in a community, this is the server for you. The server is similar to Hermitcraft, but with Avatar lore. We will all build massive structure's together and it will be something to be proud of. Hopefully some of you want to join us on this massive journey. [14] No Griefing [15] Killing is not allowed within civilisation, meaning, as long as you are close to any building, people can not kill you. You may also not kill people from your own nation, unless challenged first! [16] You have to live within the proximity of your elements nation. None benders may live in any nation, same goes for Chi Blockers. The only exception is if you marry someone from another nation, then you may live in either one of those nations. All benders may live in Republic city. [17] Marriage needs to be approved by a Moderator+. If you want to get married, you need their approval. The reason for this is that Marriage as a "meme" or to gain a benefit is not allowed. Marriage is an rp function and should only be used for rp relationships, or for real relationships. Marrying without mod+ approval is failrp. [18] You may not kill a ruler simpelly because you wanna take their power. In order to take down a ruler you need to establish a rebelion, with a legitimate reason. Fake reasons will not be allowed. I suggest asking a moderator+ to see if your rebelion would be approved. Killing a ruler for no legitimate reason, is failrp. [19] The avatar may not use warps between cities when learning to bend the 4 elements, the avatar have to walk between the nations on foot, or have a trainer walk to them. [20] The Avatar may only energybend in the Avatar state. While not all energybending technically require it, this rule is set to encourage the Avatar to use the Avatar state. [21] No bullying or insults, you can have friendly banter, or joke around, but as soon as it becomes pure insults and just attacking somebody, that is not okay. If somebody ask you to stop, you need to stop. [22] Naming items the same name as a Crate drop, in an anvil to change their textures in to a Crate item is not allowed. All authentic Crate drops have lore saying their rarity. This also applies to limited items. Simpelly put, changing item textures in an anvil is not allowed. [23] No weapons in Player VS Player combat, unless first agreed upon! The exception to this rule is of course Non-benders, Chi-Blockers and Kyoshi warriors who are allowed to use weapons and tools in combat. [24] No pets in combat unless first agreed upon. It does not matter if it is in wilderness PVP, or in an agreed challenge, if not agreed upon before, pets are not allowed in the combat. [25] No Wreckless bending, such as using phasechange around ice buildings, firebending next to flameable buildings, or using collapse around earth buildings. We are in our mid 20s and have been enjoying Minecraft since our school years. We have always been keen on playing together and having fun in this virtual world. At this point in time, we have figured out, sharing this great experience with more people is even better, especially because not all of our school friends play Minecraft anymore. Living in a world not only by ourselves is a lot more enjoyable and fun! Seeing buildings grow and other things being built from other people is just a great feeling and gives so much joy. There are no set rules on where you have to be on the server, it would be cool if we are all closer together so we can see each other from time to time or build bigger projects together. We can always connect each other through the nether You have total freedom of everything as long as you respect the few rules that are stated on our discord server, like the use of common sense when doing something that could hurt someone else's feelings or builds. Play on the server so everyone can have the best possible vanilla experience. We have grown into a small european community with people from all over Europe atm. We have refreshed the world for 1.16. We are planing on raiding the 1st dragon together as a group. We welcome all new trustworthy members. Features: This is a vanilla server and there are no mods installed. I use to run this server several years ago, but due to various reasons had to shut it down. I fully intend to restore what was lost with a stronger than ever community, and keep the server running for many years. Imperial Craft is a server for the aspiring Creative player or Survival player that wants to play in open worlds but doesn't want to be griefed. The core experience is vanilla and made to not break redstone and allow farms and big builds, and the world won't reset, so you can make long term projects without worrying about losing it. I'm a 19 year old student from the Middle East, so EU is a plus for timezones. Haven't played minecraft since around 2015, but I'm experienced and know the game well.
