At the time I make this post, we will have opened the server up for the first time on the new map. Who are we looking for? We aim to maintain a consistent playerbase 24/7, hoping for around 10-15 players consistently as per previous versions. Elysia is hosted in the US, but connecting from all around the world should have little effect on your connection. We're welcoming to players of all ages and timezones, we review applications purely on the quality of them. The server started around a month and a half ago on July 20th. The server has been running extremely well since then, with an active and amazing community. Being active on Experium is one of the most important things, so we recently got rid of a few people who were inactive on the server. This means we're looking for some new players to add to the community. Since the server has been running for over a month, you might be concerned about already being behind. There's no pressure to join if you are worried about this, but many players we have on the server didn't join right at the start and have fit right in to the community. Also, we can provide new players with some starting care packages if they wish to skip some of the early game grind. This server is very much inspired by the Hermitcraft series on youtube as I watch a ridiculous amount of that and I am constantly motivated by their community and what they accomplish. This means that we have included several iconic features of that server. These include several vanilla tweaks datapacks, a clearly defined shopping district, and a big emphasis on community and group events/projects. This makes the server very fun and encourages members to contribute to the server. But it also requires members to get along with the community, make smart decisions, and play actively. For this reason, there is a link to an application that can be filled at the bottom of this post. However, we are not going to be accepting everyone who applies, so I would just like to apologize in advance if you don't get accepted, it's nothing personal. I don't mind the size of the server as long as its 20+ active players at a time. I don't want to play with any extra unbalanced plugins, only the plugins that make the game more difficult and add to the economy. | Posted: 03 Sep 2020 07:49 AM PDT IP: mc.terraplex.me Terraplex is a Minecraft server that first went online in January 2019 and has been running on the same map ever since. With griefing and hacking allowed as well as no map resets ever, the world is massive and spawn is a ravaged wasteland. Almost every village and player-made structure within a 5k radius of spawn has been looted or destroyed. The world is 20 months old, 28.0 GB and has seen 707 players log on so far. We have just updated to 1.16.2. TPS has held at a solid 20 even after periods of stress testing. Due to earlier corruption, the end and nether have been reset. Both dimensions previously comprised under 5 gb and nothing much was lost. Few chunks have been generated in the nether since the update to 1.16 so you should be able to find new content almost immediately. Terraplex runs on an intel i9-9900K CPU, 10 GB of RAM, 500 GB of RAID SSD storage, and a 2 gigabit per second upload speed. The server is hosted in Canada, operated in the US. We started off early 2019 as a server hosted in a friend's PC, as a way to connect online, and now we have developed into a fully-fledged server with all the buttons/widgets we wanted to make our experience simple but unique. Play by yourself or join groups to build epic creations together then partake in server-wide events to mix up the experience. The only limit is our imagination - and how much RAM we have. We're based in the UK in GMT/BST, and run version 1.16.1 - we use a dedicated 24-7 server, numerous plugins, and custom items (optifine required). We also use multiverse for server events and creative when we want a break. Whitelist? We operate a whitelist on the server - just for added security for our creations. This isn't anything to worry about - all you need to do is follow our 'How to apply' steps and an admin will look at your request and set you up. What about those pesky rules? It's important before you join that you read our rules - just so you know how we operate. Rules help the factions not blow one another up with TNT all the time. Rules help the Police not to waterboard you. Rules help the admins stop being gods. Yes, all those things did happen once upon a time.
