If you join you more than likely will be online alone until I join, but if you stay then more people will join after you. I don't blame those who leave for leaving, but I'm not exactly sure what you expect from a server that isn't popular. Giving us a chance isn't joining and then leaving when you realize there isn't anyone else online, it's sticking around to see what we have to offer. What Are We About?Browsing the sea of servers you'll find that while they're different, they're much the same. They all have a skyblock and are faction/towny based.They have massive active communities and several hub and main worlds. They are always looking for new players, but most importantly they all have a server shop that offers EULA bending if not breaking rewards for real world money. While I don't disagree that many are only monetizing for the excessive server costs, too many rely on the shop for profit and that shouldn't be what a Minecraft server is about. We're much the same in offering a towny experience with the major difference being that you don't need to pay a cent to play or experience the full array of features we have to offer and until the server costs get so massive that I would need help we will keep it that way. While not being new, we aren't exactly popular, but as time progresses the things that we offer have only improved. The suggestions players have made have only strengthened the server and we are ever so grateful for the good and the bad that players have pointed out. What Can We Offer? We offer several worlds including a main world (60k by 60k in size), a resource world (20k by 20k in size), an end, nether, and a creative world that players can join and build away. Our main world and creative world do not reset, however the resource, nether, and end worlds do reset daily in order to always provide players with fresh locations to explore. In terms of plugins, the most helpful one to players is dynmap, which gives an overview of the entire world map for players to explore. We also have staples like Towny, mcMMO, Jobs Reborn, EssentialsX and so many more. It's best you come see for yourself as I would rather this section not get too wordy. Though if you would like to inquire further, I'm always willing in pm. We do also offer a crate system with a voter, common, and rare crate however you can only obtain keys from in game resources or by voting so it'll never be pay to win. You'll find that this server will offer an anti-p2w experience. Important Things To ConsiderWe are still in active beta, which means there may be a few issues that need to be ironed out. In terms of playability, everything you need is there and working. The only things that need to be worked on are the balancing of jobs and job payouts and permissions with later ranks. Everything else should be up and running and working. If you do find an issue, bring it up with me and I'll solve it as fast as I can, usually within the minutes if not an hour. Also, if you have any issues with the rules, please understand they come from years of experience on other servers and semi-knowing what people will do. If you would like further clarification on anything, be sure to message me and we can talk about or make accommodations for rules if possible. Haven't We Seen This Server Before?Yes! For transparency sake, we are not trying to pretend to be a brand new server. This isn't our first release, but our third. Our first release was on December 2019, the issues that made this release a failure included just a general lack of knowledge of how to run a server. This was my first time trying to run a server and it showed with all of the bugs and issues that plagued our first players. We weren't sure how to do much of anything. In early 2020, we restarted production, starting from complete scratch to try and remedy the problems players had on the server. This one would have been a success if it weren't for my still lack of knowledge on how to fix issues and a health issue that reduced me to taking a month long hiatus from working on anything. Other things were also done wrong like with pre-genenerating the world which caused players to end up in corrupted chunks and caused major issues with lag. It wasn't until late May where I decided to take that iteration of Pandora Craft behind the barn and well you know the rest. The third release was a few months ago and everything was once again reset and work started from zero. We had a very huge issue with the ranks plugin that handled giving players permissions so instead of relying on another ranks plugin and having the same issue as before, I decided to recreate the entire thing in Command Panels using luck perms. We properly pre-generated the world which took almost a month and are working towards making things functional instead of pretty. We aren't perfect and the server is very much still in beta, but we're in a better place now than we've been in in a long time. Rules:Rule 1: No asking for ranks, items, or money. Rule 2: Don't harass staff or players. Rule 3: Racism, sexism, homophobia, ect is not allowed. Rule 4: Global chat should be kept to English only. Rule 5: Don't spam the chat. Rule 6: Keep politics and other divisive topics like that out of chat. Rule 7: Staff say is final. Rule 8: Do not claim too close to another town or build too close to another town. The distance that is defined as too close is 16 chunks or 256 blocks. Rule 9: The use of hacks, exploits, bugs, mods ect to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited. Rule 9a: Exploiting issues with plugins in an attempt to gain as much money as possible or gain as many items as possible will also be included in the rule above. Rule 10: Machines that bypass systems on the server or machines that lag the server too much are not allowed. Rule 10a: Using more than one account to bypass any systems or limits found on the server is not allowed. Rule 11: Impersonating players on the server with the intent to scam, troll, ect is not allowed. Rule 12: Griefing unprotected chests/areas are allowed. Rule 12a: Anything built outside of a town or player by a player who has 1 week or less of time(days, not playtime) on the server is also not griefable. Rule 13: Setting homes in restricted areas is not allowed. Rule 14: Alternative accounts will not be allowed. Rule 15: Tp killing is not allowed. Noodle Land is a server that was created in 2014 (I think, it's been so long) The server has had the same world since the start. There aren't any rules on the server, you just make your own. If you create a town you can govern it in any way that you'd like. I'll even add npcs to your town to liven the place up ! The server is self governing so the interactions you have with players actually can have consequences. Some things to note. The world has been moved from java to bedrock to java. So there's lots of corrupted areas. There's also a new spawn point. If you follow the path on the sign you can walk towards a old town of ours to gear yourself up if you'd like.
