No absurd plugins. Plugins: - Land Claims with Towny. This means you can protect your builds as well as colab with friends. - Player dictated economy. No server shops, except for getting currency. You trade Diamonds for money, that's it. The rest of the economy is driven by player to player trading. - Movecraft vessels. In our eyes, moving ships should be an integral part of Minecraft. Wheres our evidence? Just look at the end city ships or the ship wrecks in the ocean. Obviously they move. Why else would they exist. - Machine Learning Anti-cheat. We try not to talk about how exactly it works, as an attempt to further obfuscate, but trust us when we say cheaters won't be an issue. - Enterprise Grade Hardware. We are running on Dual Xeon E5-2667v2's 3.3GHz with 96gb of RAM. That sounds a bit over kill right? Wrong. With this hardware we have plans to expand even more into many different Minecraft game types and even other games. - No P2W features. The server is your typical friendly, community-style survival server with no griefing, hacking or stealing allowed. We aim to be a long-term close community with no intention of resetting the map. The world we are currently on is a few months old, however there is still plenty to do! We are interested in players that will actually continue to be active. Please only apply if you intend to stay if you're accepted. On XMC, we run a server platform called Fabric. Fabric could be compared to something like Paper, but without any of the gamebreaking changes. We run Lithium for enhanced performance while maintaining the aforementioned vanilla features that paper breaks. We also use a mod called Carpet. Carpet allows us to have some more non-vanilla-ey features, such as movable tile entities, and dispensers doing various things. This server is a new 1.16.3 Vanilla Whitelisted server. With just a couple of friends playing here and there. I aim to create a close knit group of people that like to build and play survival Minecraft. I heavily play the game just about every day and am looking for more to join in on the projects we create. I am looking for like minded people, people that want to continously work on a world for 1-2 years, and people that typically play a few times a week putting in 10ish hours. Although this doesn't mean you're not allowed to take breaks, I know I have needed those month breaks. Or in general you just have a busy life outside of Minecraft. About & Gameplay: I am generally looking for people that like to build towns, cities, cottages, kingdoms, etc. Although I do like my redstone contraptions, I want the main top land to be covered in beautiful buildings that maybe even sometimes tell a story. I am looking for anyone with interest in roleplay type style, such as an Medieval Kingdoms with rulers, Modern Cities with Economies, Nordic/Fantasy with Magic and Lore, or even Futuristic/Sci-fi with technology & redstone. Redstone is very much welcome, but i'd say to try your best at hiding those contraptions the best that you can. My goal with this world is to keep it for as long as possible. I generally like to keep playing in worlds for longer amounts of time. As mentioned above, we all take breaks sometimes. And when we are feeling crafty again we don't want to log in and find that the world has been reset and it's time to start all over again. That being said, this doesn't mean that a reset can't or won't happen. Because at times it seems that's the only way to freshen things up, although I find moving out to a new area leaving everything behind is a great way to start all over, but I digress. I'd like to atleast get most of the current 8,000x8,000 world pretty filled up by the time a reset does come around. I want to encourage players to build and work together as much as possible. Various projects to work together on such as Shopping/Trading areas, Spawn Town, Gaming and Theme Park are a great wat to band together. I want to have the feeling that this is a server a people playing together, rather than people playing a server doing their own singleplayer projects. Although those are still welcome, I just want to get people working together doing things as much as possible. To give you an idea of what kinds of builds I expect, here are a few of my own along with some images of builds from friends that I play with on another server from time to time. The Server: The server is inspired by Hermit Craft. We have similar data packs, but more included from Xisuma's VanillaTweaks data pack.
