Astra is an incredibly old non-profit server, and through the years, we have grown a community and formed our own identity as a server. There are certain requirements that a city or country must meet for it to be recognized as official. These can range from how many members they have, to city banners and such. 🌍 We also have a Dynmap (full server map on a website for live viewing). Personally, I find it really fun to just wander around the world, and finding these various destinations - seeing what our community has put together. 👥 Despite the fact that we're a lot in this community, we all get along. That's something rare that I haven't seen on many other servers. No, you don't need to be 18+ to join our server. I have always found that rule on other servers quite idiotic considering people mature at different ages, so that's not something you should worry about. We have an active staff team - handpicked members that I find suitable to be staff. All our staff members are long-time players of Astra. 🧰 We also have a few custom plugins, e.g. you can vote in chat for the time of day, report others, list all cities, view relics (exceptional or sentimental builds handpicked by staff & the community), a world map, and much more. There are quite a few data packs as well (vanilla tweaks). Our players are also able to check by themselves who has interacted with their build/storage without needing staff to do it. The world has been running for one month already, so be aware that players will be ahead, but also they will be helpful and help you get started. Server will reset for 1.17 update, in about 4-5 months. (Might take longer since we don't know for sure when 1.17 will be released.) In game rules: - No stealing/griefing - No cheating! We have many on this server now who like to welcome new players with some practical jokes - the end state of course being that you conducted yourself admirably through it all and you end up rewarded.

If you're interested in something like that, I'm happy to announce an upcoming Minecraft server known as Rise and Fall: Kingdoms. ~ ~ ~ Rise and Fall: Kingdoms, also simply known as RFK, is an upcoming Minecraft server intended to enact an immersive multiplayer experience, simulating the conditions of statecraft and the management of subjects. Here, Kingdoms will be forged, not by the admins, but by the players! ~ ~ ~ RFK emphasizes the interaction between players, and interactions with its unique macro mechanics which take place outside of Minecraft. We are a civilization server. Nearly 10 years ago the first Civserver was created with the idea of a social experiment in Minecraft. Is true civilization and culture as possible in a virtual world? Today, the experiment lives on in Civuniverse. DO NOT BE MISTAKEN. Civuniverse is not just a plain Minecraft server. There are UNIQUE plugins that give players tools to build nations and prosper. PrisonPearl allows any Nation to enforce their land claims and interests by banishing players from the main server world to the End dimension. This is achieved by killing a player with a pearl in your hotbar. The only way to free the player from the End is to destroy the pearl the player is held in. As a result nations build bases called vaults to harbour the pearls of their prisoners. Vaults put faction bases to shame. Vaults can contain upwards of a million obsidian or more. It is up to the players to maintain justice in the server. Admins do not interfere with the politics of the server. There are many custom plugins such as FactoryMod, which add factories for industrialization or Citadel, which reinforces blocks to deter griefing and raiding but still allowing it to be possible. All in all these plugins are what makes a Civserver like Civuniverse possible and are so unique, one must see it for themselves to even begin to comprehend the scale and depth of the plugins themselves. We currently have 15-16 players but only around 7-8 are active, so we are looking to add more active players. Server-side mods include carpet, lithium, phosphor and REI. Server is hosted with a dedicated provider, 8gb ram. This server is mostly building and technical focused but as more players come in, we are starting to host more community events and such, so if you like building and interacting with others, this is the server for you! This is a mature, friendly community with all players 18+. I'm a flexible server host who tries to resolve as quickly as possible any problem that a player might have, and I do my best to accommodate new players by giving a world tour. Looking for builders, redstone experienced players, and technical players of all sorts to inject some life into the world. (Also looking for a base partner whom I will share all my resources with. Ideally we would collaborate on builds and share ideas between each other on what to build in our area, would prefer to talk on VC often.) If you're tired of only playing on a server for a month or two and having all of your work discarded or dealing with troublesome players, you will not have to worry about that here. We average about 5-15 players from Java, Xbox, Pocket Edition, Nintendo Switch and Windows 10 Bedrock Edition. Our features include but there is more outside of this: Customenchants: We feature over 150 custom enchants for armor, tools, weapons and more. This allows for things such as mining in a 3*3 area with the detonate enchantment or jumping higher because of the anti gravity enchantment. You can buy these enchantments using xp with the command /enchanter. Economy: Our server has an economy allowing for people to buy blocks, ores and items from the shop, There are multiple ways to earn money on the server including: Selling items on the auctionhouse to other players, Mining ores and selling to the shop using /sell, building a farm and selling the crops/sugarcane to the shop. These are the main ways to earn but there are many others. Java / Bedrock Crossplay: Our Server is run on Java so there is no possibility of Java players experiencing issues or anything out of the ordinary due to the crossplay functionality, our Bedrock crossplay is also very well setup and we rarely get issues from Bedrock players and if we do we make sure to fix it ASAP. MCMMO: MCMMO is a levelling plugin that allows you to level tons of skills to unlock abilities specific to that skill the skills include: Acrobatics, Alchemy, Archery, Axes, Excavation, Fishing, Herbalism, Mining, Repair, Swords, Taming, Unarmed, Woodcutting. There are tons of abilities to unlock but a few examples are: Double Ore Drops, Temporary Mining Speed Boost and Mining a tree by only breaking 1 block. Lands: We use a very cool claiming system that allows players to create lands, nations and if both parties agree also fight wars against each other, for a detailed explanation on how all this works read #lands in our discord. Friendly staff and community: Our server has been very welcoming to new players, and we as staff are always working to improve the server and make the server better, and to help players with any issues they face. Rules: Server rules: Respect other. No advertising or mentioning other servers. Don't ask to become staff. Don't impersonate staff. Chat: No spamming. No racism. No all caps talking. This is considered shouting. No unapproved links. Be appropriate. Don't curse in public chats or in personal ones. In-game chat can be seen in and vice versa, be nice to people! All PM's are recorded to the server log and can be retrieved as required by the Minecraft Admin and Tech Team. Mod rules: No fly mods. No xray mods. No jump mods. No climbing mods. No speed mods. No mob radars or cave mods. Bans for xray are in place, please be aware that using any unapproved mod will get you a warning, then a ban. Other rules: No begging. Asking nicely once or twice is acceptable. No griefing. Please do not destroy, deface, graffiti, or build on top of another person's constructions. Please don't try and crash the plugins or bots No hacking. Using interface mods or programs to circumvent our security system can lead to being banned Losing your stuff due to things that are ultimately caused by your own fault such as falling in the void, dying to lava or getting killed by mobs are your own responsibility and staff will not spawn your items back. In specific cases where it is caused due to glitches or things out of your control staff can give back items if they deem it as not your fault. No player killing in non-player killing areas. No PvP unless both players agreed to fight, resulting in not following this will be a warning then a ban. No massive redstone clocks or devices that run 24/7 without approval. How and why? for that we will have to listen to a- STORY: Over 99% of Humanity, have been converted into mindless primitive Zombie like creatures, that are trying to always catch you when you least expect- Make a sound, or place a light, or even just have a cut on your hand and bleed..., and then the horde... will come The way it works? Combining multiple Technology Modpacks, with weapons and Turret defences and multiple Mods that tweak the Behaviour of Zombies. What does this modpack aim for? simply put... In minecraft as soon as you have Diamond armor... do you fear the Night? Are you Afraid of the DARK? no.... EYD aims to change that. How... and Why would someone put himself through this Torment? well simply put. Two reasons: One: I dont want to spoil the suprise but you have never experienced how it feels to be Swarmed at by a mass of growling Undead... And Second...Did you ever think to yourself, in a Film "wow that decision was so dumb." And simply put... some day you may find yourself out on a open field... clear view... but dark. and you place a Torch. and after that, you know why people in Zombie Movies did those mistakes- The Point is.
