Axolotls should NOT attack glow squids

    Posted: 13 May 2021 07:45 AM PDT

I am not a glow squid fan. That's not why I'm making this suggestion. I'm gonna explain why axolotls attacking glow squids is not fine with me.

Glow squids and axolotls spawn in aquifers (the underground water systems). Having them co-exist is cool, you see two cool-looking aquatic mobs swimming in aquifers while mining but...

There are glow ink sacs literally floating everywhere in almost every aquifer I see. It's annoying. Sure, it's free glow ink sac but why would you even bother collecting it just for some glow item frame. You won' t even think about collecting some while mining.

Having to accidentally pick them up while swimming in a cave is just annoying. I always have to go to my inventory to get rid of the glow ink sacs.

I thought the point of the glow squid is to see something beautiful in the game, especially in the new caves it's getting. With the axolotls killing them, you won't always see the glow squids' beauty. They look cool in caves but yeah axolotls have anger issues so they said no.

And it just sucks for the glow squid to be spawned then immediately gets killed by an axolotl. If they co-exist in the same space, they shouldn't fight one another. They're the only two mobs that are exclusive to spawn in aquifers so they should live together peacefully.

Perhaps the axolotls could still attack glow squids but only if the player is holding a tropical fish or bucket of tropical fish.

Poor glow squids. They didn't ask to be voted.

    Vibration vision while spectating warden

I think it would be interesting if when you spectate, the warden the world would be black, apart from things making vibrations, or move in general, would glow blue.

    Soft bedrock caves

    Posted: 13 May 2021 04:39 AM PDT

Soft bedrock generates 30 blocks above the bedrock layer. Soft bedrock can only be mined with diamond and netherite pickaxes. No caves go from the deepslate layer to the soft bedrock layer, so you can't cheese. Soft bedrock is resistant to explosions, except to the wither explosions.

The caves in the soft bedrock have big magma patches and increased diamond spawnrate. No mobs spawn here except for magma cubes. The deep dark caves has a small chance to generate in the soft bedrock layers.

Soft bedrock can be used to make soft bedrock tiles. Soft bedrock tiles can be used to make soft bedrock tiles variants and chiseled soft bedrock. Soft bedrock and it's variants has a lighter look than normal bedrock and has some small deepslate stones in it.

The reaon why you want to go in the soft bedrock caves is that there is a increased diamond spawnrate. Only diamonds generates here.

A new mob, the cave crawler spawns in the soft bedrock caves. It's a hostile mob. It looks like a iron golem but out of soft bedrock and its smaller and has long arms to pull you. It's the same height of a snow golem but as wide as as a iron golem. They have blue eyes. They attack by pulling you with their arms that can extend by two blocks, then they slap you with their stone heads. The pull does 5 hearts of damage and the slap does 6 hearts of damage. When killed they drop soft bedrock and cracked bedrock.

Cracked bedrock can be used to craft a bedrock hammer. They deal 6 hearts of damage and do area damage. They have 2 enchantments: nocturnal; does more damage against mob that only spawn underground; stun, does a half second stun, has 45% to work.

This is my idea, thanks to read it

    Glow Pet Collar

    Posted: 13 May 2021 10:57 AM PDT

This is simple. if you have a glow ink sack you should be able to right-click a dog or cat and have the color of the collar become similar to the glow squids.

A zombie with an axe should break down doors faster

    Posted: 13 May 2021 11:11 AM PDT

Title pretty much says it all, zombies hit harder while holding axes, aswell as break down doors (on hardmode) so it only makes sense that they would hit it with the axe they're holding.

Bastion remnants should go down to netherrack, like nether fortresses, not just float above the lava

    Posted: 13 May 2021 02:10 PM PDT

If a bastion remant generates on lava, it is just sitting on the lava, like floating there. There should at least be some blocks below so they arent floating, like nether fortress columns generate down until they hit netherrack or some solid block

    Skulk Helmet

    Posted: 13 May 2021 04:26 AM PDT

Hear me out. The Warden is a terrifying mob and I know they do not really want to give him a drop. Which is great! Makes it more of a natural disaster/hazard to avoid. What KingBDogz has stated is that there would be very valuable loot the Warden is guarding. I'd love if one of the loot pools is a Skulk Helmet. Not craftable and only obtained in the Deep Dark. How it could work is it would give you the blindness effect indefinitely. However, it will be able to pick up vibrations (like the Warden and Skulk Sensors) and if any skulk sensors pick up vibrations, it will send it to the skulk helmet. Not sure if this idea has been submitted but I'd love for this to become a reality as I am very intrigued about the Deep Dark.

Have your respawn point default back to your bed after you break a Respawn Anchor that you're tethered to.

    Posted: 13 May 2021 10:13 AM PDT

That way, if you die after destroying your anchor/it's charge is depleted, you won't respawn at the world spawn point, but your bed instead. I play with keepInventory true on so whenever I need a quick return to my base I just /kill, but when I do this from the nether after setting up and breaking a respawn Anchor, it's a hassle to go all the way back to my base from spawn.

    Blooming fields biome

The flower patterns in flower forests look beautiful. There should be a biome that is mostly flat and filled with flowers in patterns. It would look beautiful and would be a good way to get flowers.

If you don't know what this is or would look like, I have this image. This is the source of this image

End game bosses and the far end

    Posted: 13 May 2021 03:25 PM PDT

This came to me in a dream. Once you get all exit gateway portals and defeat the dragon a new gateway portal opens. At each of the corners of the end is a new much much much harder dragons that are late game bosses. You can fly there at any time but it's easier to enter the gates. On top of that around the sides there are new blocks and a thick fog that limits vision.

Dead chorus - Very similar to regular chorus plants and fruits. It's a grayscale version when eaten is teleported nearby multiple times before being teleported 50 blocks away somewhere. It's a lot more unstable but the last teleport is a lot further.

Cracked purpur blocks. Around the far end there are end city ruins. Collapsed end city's with stronger shulkers. In the collapsed ships there are broken elytra that need mending to fix.

Red Dragon - Located in the top right and the easiest boss. Still harder then the default one but when beated the acceleration when flying using an elytra and the red dragon egg.

Blue Dragon - Located in the top left and slightly harder then the red dragon. You are rewarded less damage when you crash into a wall while flying with an elytra and a blue dragon egg.

Green Dragon - Located in the bottom right and is the second hardest. You are rewarded more speed with the elytra and the green dragon egg.

White Dragon - The hardest dragon. It does tons of damage and the end pillars are all surrounded in iron bars that are way higher. Every couple of minutes you get more limited vision for a couple of seconds. It has a lot of health and is immune to explosions(so you cant cheese it with beds). It is meant to be the final final boss and the ultimate challenge. Once it is defeated all the fog in the far end disappears. As a reward your speed is increased with the elytra again and you take less damage from everything. You deal +6 damage permanently and don't take enderpearl falldamage. Finally you get the white dragon egg which proves you beat the dragon.

The ability to pick the title screen panorama

    Posted: 12 May 2021 05:57 PM PDT

I just think it would be really neat to be able to pick the title screen panorama, adding one new option every update like they've been doing. I personally really like the new panoramas, especially nether one, but I still think it would be cool to have the option to change it back to something else.

Wandering traders should offer all trades that the player has used before, so players can “collect” trades

    Posted: 13 May 2021 12:16 PM PDT

Right now the wandering trader only offers a few random trades every time they appear, and players are usually not excited to trade with them because of limited options and how rare useful options are.

Wandering traders could offer all trades that the player has previously completed with them, along with the new randomly selected ones. You could still only trade a certain number of times per trade.

This would encourage players to trade with the wandering trader whenever possible to permanently unlock the trades for later. Useful trades would accumulate overtime and players would be excited to trade with them now to collect all trades. Trades such as dyes that are never used would now done at least once.

The fact that the wandering trader disappears after a while and the limited number of times you can use any specific offer would still be limited, to maintain balance.

A few ways to “fix” the bundle

    Posted: 13 May 2021 09:28 AM PDT

The bundle was announced as an unfinished item. Here are a couple of ways to develop it a bit more:

    1. Make a way to customize them so we know what is in them just by looking at them- The most common way that I have seen for suggestions about customizing them is by making them able to be dyed, but what if there were a way to craft bundles that gave them a separate texture. First off, the texture would need to be changed completely from the 16x16 to a more detailed texture, like the shield. Right now there is only one type of bundle. The default. Also, the very middle of the crafting recipe is not being utilized. There could be 16 different textures depending on what you put in the middle of the recipe. For example, a netherrack block in the middle would give the bundle a netherrack texture, a brick block would give it a brick texture, etc.

    2. Make an enchantment so that they can hold more unstackable items except for the bundle itself (like swords, enchanted books, totems, minecarts, boats)- This enchantment could be called "capacity":

Capacity I: would allow for 2 unstackable items to fit in a bundle ,Capacity II: would allow for 3 unstackable items to fit in a bundle ,Capacity III: would allow for 4 unstackable items to fit in a bundle

    1. Make it so that you can access any item in it instead of only the last item you put in it- Maybe make this a feature or make this an enchantment of its own.

    New Endermen Mechanics

    Posted: 13 May 2021 12:24 AM PDT

As a disclaimer, this is actually a few separate suggestions but I think that they are sufficiently reliant on each-other that it would make more sense to post them as a single suggestion. Also, whilst the "ability to equip any item/block in the helmet slot" is technically on the FPS list, I think my solution is creative enough that it isn't really infringing the rule.

    1) Endermen have a low chance to spawn holding a random block that they can pick up. This includes things like Grass and Sand blocks, but also rarer blocks like Melons, Mycelium and TNT. This chance is low but it makes a decent number of blocks renewable, especially using Enderman Farms.

    2) Players can give Endermen blocks by shift-right-clicking, trading with whatever they are holding. This calms angry Endermen down provided that they were not attacked by the player (so if the player triggered them by making eye-contact).

    3) When attacking a player without a helmet, Endermen have a chance to place their held block into the player's head slot. This can already be done using commands but there is currently no survival-friendly way to place blocks on your head.

These combined changes would give Endermen a little more flavour and also a few niche uses. They can be traded with to get rare blocks or blocks from other dimensions, farmed to renewably generate Sand and Netherrack, or used to equip things like Glass or Banners in player's helmet-slots. I've personally always thought of Endermen as one of the more intelligent mobs, or par with Piglins if not Villagers so I'd love to see some more quirky behaviour from them.

TL;DR: Endermen can spawn with blocks and players can swap blocks with them. They can also force blocks onto players heads when attacking them, allowing them to cosmetically equip blocks in survival mode.

Firework Rockets have special effects in combat depending on the pattern used.

    Posted: 13 May 2021 12:16 PM PDT

FIRE CHARGE - Sets target on fire for 5-7 seconds.

GOLD NUGGET - Fires sparks in all directions that deal 1 and 1/2 hearts of damage on contact.

CREEPER HEAD - Increases knockback of the explosion significantly.

FEATHER - Explosion pierces through armor somewhat and does more durability damage to armor.

GLOWSTONE DUST - Blinds target for 3-4 seconds.

DIAMOND - Explosion radius lingers after detonation.

Keep in mind that a firework can only have one shape effect. So you'd have to choose the right one for the situation. Or just choose the one you like the most.

EDIT: Fireworks now do 5 hearts of damage no matter how many stars are added to it. This is to balance out the new combat effects. Also, consider that firework rockets deal less damage depending on range.

    Voice Synthesizer or Voder Noteblocks

    Posted: 13 May 2021 03:59 PM PDT

    This might not sound vinilla.

Many of you might not have heard of the Voder, but it was a machine in 1938, that was able to create speech completely electronically through a series of hissing and buzzing sounds.

What is putting a noteblock on top of a bookshelf caused its notes to replicate the buzzes, hisses and consonants of the Voder?

Sci fi map makers and ambitious redstone engineers would be able to make their machines speak, but in a monotone.

    Glow squid "alluring" affect

    Posted: 13 May 2021 10:01 AM PDT

Glow squids should be dangerous and add new mechanics since drown are the only monsters that spawn in water. If you look at glow squids in a certain range, everything else around will dim and controls will be reversed to simulate unwillingly being tempted in by it's glow. It'll then latch onto your head causing damage. But if you get good at switching to reverse controls you can outswim it and escape. Please vote for the idea, thanks! https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/360077932491-Glow-squids-alluring-affect

Custom worlds without the need for json files

    Posted: 13 May 2021 01:24 PM PDT

What I mean is: bring back the ability to create a completely customizable world without having to download a mod or insert a json file into the world folder. It should be in the game menu selection when creating a new world.

I miss being able to control the spacing between structures and which blocks appear more frequently. I want to be able to filter out certain biomes I dislike or only summon certain mobs. There could also be a way to change the sky color or block color.

If this is not possible, please direct me to a place where someone will ELI5 how to make a custom world in the current Minecraft (because I really don't know javascript object notation well).
