And here are the 10 honorable ones: All Monthly Suggestion Posts are catalogued on the subreddit's TMS Catalog Wikipage. And finally, you can see some suggestions that have actually been implemented on the Successful Suggestions Wiki Page! Maybe one of these will make it on there someday! If you have a suggestion that actually has been implemented in some form or another, please let us know so that we can update the list. Thanks! Note: The comments are not for posing ideas unless they pertain to the feedback theme. If an idea crops up in a discussion, then that's fine, but for posting a suggestion for the community and the developers, that is what the "submit" button at the top right is for. Until next time folks, have a fantastic day/night, and take care! :D [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 May 2021 09:22 AM PDT I had this idea bc there's a sound similar to whale in the game. and by some research. Whale can be heard from 3000 Km(Means a massive creature). It'd be interesting an aquatic boss. I'd say, Invocation method through conduits and ocean fortress [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 02:33 AM PDT Fire vines appear in caves in the Nether. When you walk into them you will be burned. Any flammable objects in a 2 block radius will be burned. They can be harvested by shears but they will do 2 durability instead of 1. Harvesting it with anything else will burn you(same damage to walking on magma, not on fire). By brewing it with a bottle of Dragon Breath, you get a bottle of fire. Use gunpowder to turn it into a splash potion, like any other pot, or else drinking the bottle will do damage as much as lava regardless of armor. Splash Fire Bottles can be thrown at players and mobs to inflict a napalm like effect. Everything in a 5 block radius will erupt into flames, everything in 10 block has a 50% chance to be caught on fire. Any direct hits inflict 15 damage and an additional 1.5 hearts per second(counting armor). [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 10:46 AM PDT When struck by lightning while holding an empty bottle, it becomes lightning in a bottle. When thrown, (like a splash potion), it summons lightning where it lands If you add this to a trident with channeling in an enchantment table, the trident becomes Charged, and will summon lightning where it lands regardless of the weather. This may be done as many times as the trident is charged. Add 4 levels of channeling, 1-4. Channeling 1- Up to 4 charges Channeling 2- Up to 8 charges Channeling 3- Up to 12 charges Channeling 4- Up to 16 charges [link] [comments]
Able to keep storage blocks open Posted: 11 May 2021 08:26 AM PDT Shift right clicking with a empty hand could make the storage block stay open, so barrels lids would stay open and the top of chests/shulkers would stay up. Shift right clicking a storage block already forced open would do thr same thing. This could be used for decoration or for telling someone that a chest has been opened/emptied as they would stand out. [link] [comments]
Cut out Baby Villager's growing time by giving lots of breads to them Posted: 11 May 2021 04:43 AM PDT Rather than waiting 20 real life minutes for them to grow into adult, would be nice if a stack of bread cut out their growing time by 4 minutes (or any other minutes). If that's seem overpowered then any other way to cut out their growing time would be good to me. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 02:40 PM PDT Note: This is assuming that the ice caves in the bedrock beta are an intentional feature The woolly spider would be a new varient of spider that spawns in the new mountain ice caves and rarely under snowy taigas and tundras. They are about the same size as normal spiders, but are slightly larger because of their woolly coat of hairs used to survive in their cold enviroment. They are also brown instead of black, white white spots at the end of their feet. Because of their thick hairs, they have 20 health points intead of 16 like normal spiders. When they attack the player, they deal 2 hearts of damage and give the player the freezing effect for 13 seconds (it takes 7 seconds for the effect to begin, so the player takes damage for only 6 seconds). Once killed, the woolly spider will drop a spider eye, string, and rarely a frozen fang. The frozen fang can be brewed with an awkward potion to make a potion of freezing resistance. It can also replace flint in the crafting recipe for arrows to make four freezing arrows. Freezing arrows give their victims the freezing effect for 15 seconds (7 seconds for the effect to begin, 8 seconds of damage). Thank you for reading my idea, and please respond to share your input. Shacks, huts, tents, stationary caravans, and abandoned surface resource outposts Posted: 11 May 2021 11:08 AM PDT While Minecraft already has some structures generate more in the wilderness such as igloos and structures from taiga villages, it would be interesting to come across other structures as well. • Shacks could appear across most biomes, and some could look cobbled together from rubble and garbage. Some shacks can be more overgrown as well. They could appear almost anywhere including mushroom biomes. They could on rare occasions spawn witches, nitwit or priest villager variants, and possibly other mobs such as illagers. Remote shacks could even be used to introduce at least one new mob, such as a thief or hermit mob for example. They would also be neat for role playing, maps, exploration, survival, and eccentric charm. • Huts can generally made with simple materials like dirt, cobblestone, terracotta, bricks (stone, clay, or even mud), and hay. Thatched roofs would be nice to occasionally see on generated structures in game. • Tents could be intact or torn and mostly be simple, though more elaborate standing room tents and awnings could also appear. • Stationary caravans could be the wreckage of old voyages on land while others could be settlements similar to villages. The carts can be tented, roofed, or open air, and the wheels locked in place on/in the ground or missing. Inhabited caravans could have villagers or more hostile mobs such as witches and pillagers. There could also be some loot such as potions, scrolls, and magical items there as well. To make these structures even more interesting, there could be wheel tread tracks in the surrounding landscape a little before finding the caravan. This could be as simple as a 1/2 to one block deep tail following the wheels. • Abandoned surface resource outposts could be a unique and interesting addition to Minecraft that could give more depth to the development of some villages and structures. These would largely feature as logging camps, built relatively small and most if not all would be abandoned. The camps could be surrounded by fences or ruined walls built from previously sharper/sharpened logs. The tents and structures would probably be mostly gone save for some forgotten tent stakes and posts. Log tables, simple wooden benches, and other remnants could spawn on limited occasions. The most common clutter would probably be logs, tree bark, stripped wood, and small amounts of wooden planks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 04:32 AM PDT You should be able to carve out log sections to make flume sections. Add them together to make ways to transport things in water. With or without the drop every 8 sections [link] [comments]
Blocks with gravity should fall through dripleaf plants. Posted: 11 May 2021 01:04 PM PDT Since the dripleaf plant isn't able to hold the player or items, it only makes sense that it shouldn't be able to hold blocks with gravity, (anvils, gravel etc.) [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 10:04 AM PDT Probably exists in Java, I play bedrock. There could be, in the world settings, a show armor rule. This would make armor not show up. I love protection, and I want to see my skin, so merge these things and problem solved! Yes, it would defend you still, and yes, the armor points would still show up at the bottom. I think this could just be a nice feature. Or maybe only the outline would show up, like a glowing effect that doesn't go through blocks with a different color for each armor type. I dunno, but I think it'd be nice. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 11:43 AM PDT Matriarchs are an uncommon mob that spawns at night in forest biomes and all of it's variants. They are large spiders that are bigger than the regular counterpart and will create baby spiders to swarm the player. Greenbacks are a mob found in jungles at night, they look the same as a regular spider besides them having green eyes and well, backs. They act the same as a regular spider but have a coating of natural armor giving them 7 points of defense. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 11:04 AM PDT I have a great idea for the use for the Fletching Table. The Fletching Table can be used for easier getting tipped arrows. With 8 arrows and a throwable potion will U get 8 tipped arrows. No one craft tipped arrows because they are too expensive. At first U have to go to the end, grab some dragon's breath, make a lingering potion and craft only 8 tipped arrows. a small great idea that two unused features have a great use. would be cool in the future combat update. Posted: 11 May 2021 07:10 AM PDT This is crafted with 4 iron nuggets. You throw them. They hurt people and they stick in walls. 10% chance of breaking when hitting a wall. Does 5-12 damage. Can be picked up. Stacks up to 16. That's it. [link] [comments]

For the sword it makes it so you have a possibility of breaking someone's shield with a normal crit For the axe and picaxe it makes it so you break the shield without a crit, the cooldown bar has to be full tho, it also deals extra damage if you do a crit and break the shield It also takes more durability out of the armor/shield (maybe under certain conditions?) (Maybe it transfers it to you like in exp or smth else?) An alternative could be adding a second cooldown bar for the same effects or maybe greater effects, that's a way to balance it

Here’s an Idea. Minecraft small update. The Seasonal Update Posted: 11 May 2021 06:54 AM PDT So Minecraft doesn't really have seasons all that much and it sorta makes it bland. So what if we added where every 30 to 40 mc days it went to the next season. Spring is when the grass and trees are very vibrant. Flowers start to appear as well with the new addition of the dandelion. Rain is increased as well. Summer is when it looks like good old Minecraft. But with less rain. Now we get to my favorite season...Fall. Fall would turn the trees leaves yellow, orange, and in rare cases even red. Rain does not often appear. Next up is winter. This would turn the trees leave white and would would cover the grass in snow. Almost every block would turn be covered. And rain would be replaced with snow. A new item could be crafted too called the seasons reader. It can be crafted with iron, red stone, and a dandelion. I think this would be a good addition to Minecraft. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 01:42 PM PDT So, ofc the title gives you the general idea, but it might be a little confusing. So basically what im saying, is that you should be able to mix wool together like dyes. Red and yellow dye gives you two orange dyes, and it would make sense if you could mix red and yellow wools to get two orange wool. This would allow for smaller wool farms, like just the basic colors. Red, yellow, blue, white, black, gray, and brown. All the other colors would be able to be mixed together, to create what i think is every color in the game. Want cyan? First mix blue and yellow, then mix green (gotten from the blue and yellow) and blue, and now you have cyan. Simple enough i think. How Is This Realistic? Its simple, i think of it as weaving the two different colors together, like just criss-crossing the strands of wool, which give your mind the illusion that its another color. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 03:26 PM PDT The observer block is a good components for redstone. It will be great to create an observer who can produce redstone signal when entity was seen by the "new observer". For the craft it will be the same than the original observer but the amethyst shard will be used instead of nether quartz. [link] [comments]
New mechanic for bushes and cacti: Posted: 11 May 2021 11:15 AM PDT When you are in the middle of a berry bush, you take damage, just like with cacti. I think that if you stay for more than 5 seconds in some of these blocks, you stop receiving damage, as if the player had found a comfortable position, but, if the player moves quickly, he will receive triple the expected damage, equally if it breaks the plant with which it is in contact. In addition, although I do not think it is likely, it can have many bugs and also be very annoying, 15-20 minutes after coming into contact with a cactus or bush, a point of damage is received, as if you had a thorn stuck [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 12:03 PM PDT What is it A command remote would be a special item that is only obtainable through commands: Texture You can change the texture of a command remote by changing it's data value. The normal looks like a normal TV remote, setting the data value to 1 changes it to a rune, 2 to a crystal and 3 to a cellphone to make it fit for maps and stuff. [link] [comments]
When you throw splash potions or break glass you get broken glass Posted: 10 May 2021 11:28 PM PDT Broken glass's sole use is being smelted back into glass, to conserve sand if you misplace glass and do not have silk touch, use splash potions, etc [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 May 2021 09:09 AM PDT I wish their was an option to have armor look more slim fitting I don't really like how bulky the armor fits of characters probably like an option on the skin like thin arms you know. [link] [comments]
Add a seperate sounds section for redstone blocks Posted: 10 May 2021 07:16 PM PDT Theres nothing more annoying that the repeating sound of a dispenser ticking. There should be a separate option to disable all redstone noises like dispensers and pistons. [link] [comments] |
