Posted: 16 Jun 2021 12:10 AM PDT The stronghold is a close structure and it should not be destroyed from amethyst geodes, because sometimes it gets ridd of the functional end portal. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 03:38 PM PDT Drip stone crabs are crustaceans that spawn in the drip stone cave biome Appearance: share the size of chickens, slightly wider, have two claws that can pinch you. They have dripstone spikes growing from their backs, and their eyes are white dots. Behavior: they walk sideways, and aren't hurt by pointed dripstone. They love sitting underneath dripstone, as it hidrates them. However, if lava is dripping from it, they get hurt and avoid this. They are neutral to the player, and start pinching you if you hit them. Drops: they drop kanikama, or crab meat Kanikama is a new underground exclusive food, and can be smelted into crab cake. Raw kanikama restores 4 hunger points, and cooked variety restores 10. Why add them?: right now, the dripstone caves seem like a really barebones biome. It has a pretty cool block, but that's about it. I think a new mob to spice things up would be nice. It also adds another source of food underground. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 01:51 PM PDT You thought torches were cool, you think candles will satisfy the eye... well it does and that's why I present to you the "Mounted Candle". Combine Candle+ GoatHorn+ IronBar to obtain a light source capable of being mounted on walls, fences, etc. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 08:18 AM PDT It looks like water (maybe with some bubbles at the top) but when you step in it, it damages you, but doesn't set you on fire like lava does. It doesn't set other blocks on fire. It doesn't emit light. It doesn't burn items. You can swim in it normally. And if you throw raw food into it, the food will cook after a while. You can find it in some sort of hot spring, or cook a water bucket to make it. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:00 PM PDT I just thought of an idea. As far as I know, there is no way to get potions of decay in survival mode. But what if wither skeletons dropped withered bones, which could be used in potion brewing to make potions of decay. It could also be turned into a block to use to spawn the wither instead of soul sand. Just a thought. [link] [comments] |
Candle holder (Wall and ceiling candles) Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:59 AM PDT You can craft candle holder using some iron nuggets. You can place it on floor, wall and ceiling (it's have chain texture similar to lantern). If player use candle on it, candle places on candle holder. Edit: probably gold and copper variants of candle holder too [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 07:52 AM PDT If you use tinted glass instead of an amethyst shard to make a spy glass, there would be a few things that happen. It would be called a Tinted Spyglass First of all, enderman wouldnt notice if you look them in the eye, Second, it would provide a larger area to see thourh BUT everything would be a tad bit darker. Thirdly, the icon would have a black glass thing rather than blue. Lastly, all light that you see would appear 40% less bright and fire particles from torches and candles would be completely invisible. IF you have anymore suggestions let me know! [link] [comments] |
Calcite Should Generate in Blobs in Mountains Posted: 16 Jun 2021 10:57 AM PDT Currently, calcite is a rare decorative block only found in Amethyst Geodes. Having them generate in mountains would make them much less rare and a viable building block. And in 1.18, maybe they can only generate in one cave biome like lush caves? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 01:33 AM PDT crafting same as other doors but you can look trough it and has color of glass that it is made from-you can't combine multiple collor [link] [comments] |
Beacons should have range proportionate to the rarity of the ingot used to activate it Posted: 16 Jun 2021 03:46 AM PDT Exactly what the title says - the better the item you use to activate the beacon (iron, diamond, netherite) the more range your beacon has [link] [comments] |
There should be some kind of method to know how far you've adventured in your world. Posted: 16 Jun 2021 06:18 AM PDT I was first introduced to Minecraft last October, since then I've flew everywhere using the elytra and rockets, I now have to question how much further I must fly to check out the new items in the update, Some kind of map to show the outline of where I've ventured and such, Edit : Also I feel that the user should have a choice in how close the update can be to their base, So my base is 100 x 100 blocks and if the entire rest of the map is altered or reset for the update, I would prefer this rather than flying 10,000+ blocks to see the new update just because I went 10,000 blocks to grab bamboo, The option should be there, or choose the scope of merging with the new update, Atleast a redstone perimeter to indicate not to interfere with the selected chunk(s) [link] [comments] |
Endermen have a large chance to spawn with ore blocks in their hands near big ore veins Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:26 AM PDT So we can know where large ore veins are (the massive copper and iron ones) while perhaps even introducing some cool mob farms? I don't know. This would definitely be cool though. Edit: Only the ore of the corresponding vein. Diamonds do not have large ore veins and therefore will not spawn in endermen's hands. Same with lapis, redstone, etc. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 15 Jun 2021 09:40 PM PDT You know why you shoot an arrow at a mob it's gone forever, but when you shoot it at the ground, you can pick it up. So let's change that to where when you shoot an arrow at a mob, there is a chance you can get the feather, flint, or the stick back, or the entire arrow. I thought of this, because of how when people use crossbows or bows and arrows when you hunt, you can rip out the arrow from the animal you shot at, it would be a cool feature that would help people who are low on arrows, and don't have an infinity bow. There should be subtitles for audio for bedrock edition Posted: 16 Jun 2021 12:11 AM PDT it should be the same as java where there is subtitles for things happening around you. [link] [comments] |
Bring Back the Quiver Once and for All! Posted: 16 Jun 2021 06:28 PM PDT Now that we are getting bundles as another way to manage your inventory that introduces a whole new UI, we should bring back the quiver once and for all and it should use the same mechanics as the bundle, but only accepts arrows of course. After all, a quiver is essentially just a bundle for arrows. Quivers would also allow you to through an assortment of arrow types quickly while in combat to apply different effects to your target. Thanks for reading! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 07:07 AM PDT I think that we could put snow layers on powder snow to help hide it, but that these layers wouldn't spawn naturally [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 06:24 PM PDT Placing down a goad horn creates a cornucopia, which can then be filled with food by right clicking. Could be a great decoration and a good use for the horn. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:10 AM PDT Boat with a chest could be super helpful for ocean exploration. Instead of having a passenger, have a chest behind you! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:45 PM PDT Another way to get Deepslate, Blackstone and Cobblestone for 2 Deepslate. and if that's too easy another could be, 1 Blackstone 1 Andisite for 2 Deepslate. [link] [comments] |
Powering a beacon with a Netherite Ingot should invert its effects Posted: 16 Jun 2021 01:44 PM PDT Who in their right mind is powering their beacons with a netherite ingot? Making the base out of netherite blocks is one thing; it's a huge flex. But it's useless to use a ningot to power the thing. So I propose giving it a use. When activated with a netherite ingot, a beacon should give the opposite effect that it would otherwise: Speed -> Slowness Haste -> Mining Fatigue Resistance -> Some new effect that causes you to take more damage, doesn't exist yet Jump Boost -> Negative Jump Boost, or a new effect Regeneration -> Poison This could also be useful for traps, or getting the How Did We Get Here advancement. And I really want a way to get Mining Fatigue on demand. [link] [comments] |
A new alternative to ladders : Ropes ! Posted: 16 Jun 2021 05:26 AM PDT Ropes would stick to a block like a twisting vine but it can stick to any block and in horizontal position too ! It would be crafted with 3 wool block in a vertical position (in a crafting table) If there is too much weight on it (for example an anvil or a full netherite armor player) it breaks. Right-clicking on a Spore Blossom with a dye will change it's particles to that color. Posted: 15 Jun 2021 05:38 PM PDT Not too much to this one, just makes the spore blossom more versatile and allows for players to use it in more types of builds than they would normally be able to with just the green particles. Adding C418 - Eleven into the game Posted: 15 Jun 2021 09:03 PM PDT Repairing disc 11 with a diamond should give you the "fixed" version of 11 as a disc, Eleven by C418 (seen here) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh4rVC1Mv0E This disc would have a diamond-y color to it, similar to how Pigstep has a netherack-hue color.
