The project is a server where there are five kingdoms each with ~ 20 players, in a really cool Minecraft world and they have to compete with each other. The server will be filled with events and some wars might even get started. The idea would be a combination of survival and roleplay, where we would have a few small YouTubers as well, to build a story, grow an audience and grow together. So who am I looking for? A little about MineArch SMP:I started this project back in 2018, a year before my daughter was born and since about a year ago my health has gone downhill and I've been unable to work. Since then, I've come up with some fantastic ideas that I've incorporated into the server for your best experience, whilst making the server as balanced, lagless and optimized as it can possibly be. Crate keys? Pfft.. no. We've got shards, they're much better.Here's a video of the MineArch shard system when it was in development. Instead of crate keys, (which every server has.. it's quite boring and overused) I've introduced my vision of a rewards system that benefits the player more than the crate keys you already know. When players vote, they're given a shard which they can go to the shard portal to sacrifice for a reward. (There's a whole lore based around the shard portal) Rewards are offered to the player using a 3D client-side animation using packets. Earnable premium currencies / ranks that work across future MineArch serversEvery hour you play on the server, you're given Credits which are redeemable for cosmetic and useful items in-game. | Posted: 13 Mar 2022 01:56 AM PST Hello! We are a safe community and have extremely high standards for keeping it that way. Our foundation lore has been established! In the center of the map, in a mountain valley, the Beacon has been restored to the temple. There are 4 quadrants, each with a representative color. Each "faction" can change the color of the Beacon, and at the end of the week, the color that was there longest will grant the corresponding faction a Blessing. This is basically a special admin request, within reason, but there are no formal rules about it. We JUST opened the map from 500 across to 3000 across... so it's the perfect time to claim the SE Shadow Guild, the Cyan Alliance in the SW, or join Mamba in the NW Purple Faction or Cinna in the NE Gold League. There is a light economy based on play time, not grinding. Iris can be earned through active playing (walking) only, but this means that nomads, builders, grinders, etc etc, can all participate equally. The Nether and End have not been opened, we are a Fabric server for the purpose of Origins/roleplay and structure mods to add variety and life to the server, but we have extremely few modded blocks or items. Our vibe is still very vanilla and grounded. Roleplay and creative expression best in a safe environment with lots of trust. We value that above all else. We go with the flow and follow each other's lead. You can "lock" chests by placing a sign that says the chest can only be opened with a key and that will be respected by the other players. Rule breaking, theft, PVP, griefing *in character* is all allowed if arranged in advance with the other player. You can place signs like "you see small, sandy footprints here" if you've been snooping in someone's house so they know someone was there. Anything goes! We have a writing requirement! You must update the Discord Storytime channel or Timeline channel with what you've been up to. This allows everyone to participate in the developments of the server even if they're not online at the same time. You can write a few sentences, a few pages, use visual art, video, any media is welcome, but we just want to keep the conversation going. Try to post about once a week.
