Posted: 17 Jan 2019 05:34 AM PST A simple use for the poisonous potato: make them compostable. That way they'll have a use, even if it's not much. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 04:08 AM PST Deer would be a new mob found in oak and birch forests. They would be a very fast mob and would run if you get within 15 blocks of them. They would drop a new meat(called vension) better than steak when cooked. Probably 2-3 of vension because it is so hard to get. There would also be males and females. When aproaching a female they would run while males will slowly move away. If you aproach to rapidly torad it getting within a 4 block radius before it can move away it will charge. Any deer will also run from the sound of an explotion or a projectile landind within a 5 block radius. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 08:32 AM PST When you place the campfire down in the world it should be unlit until right-clicked with a flint and steel. Why add this? Well when people are using the block for building, which there are many ways, you don't have to extinguish it with a water bucket, which is very annoying btw. [link] [comments] |
Campfires scare away hostile mobs in areas with low regional difficulty. Posted: 17 Jan 2019 01:38 PM PST This would mean that campfires would be a great tool for exploration, but once an area has been stayed in for long enough the mobs would no longer be scared of the campfires, making it so that cats and ocelots wouldn't become obsolete. Extinguish campfire with waterbottles Posted: 17 Jan 2019 09:51 AM PST Extinguish campfire with waterbottles should be avilible. Waterlogging campfire is quite hard. Water spills everywhere washing other things accidently. With water bottles (splash or right click with non-splashable) it should be much easier for creative, and ok for survival. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 08:53 AM PST My suggestion is that there should be broken portals in a new "room" of the abandoned mineshaft. They would have 3-7 obsidian, and would be fairly rare. I don't think this would be too overpowered, as the corners would be included in the generation, and those blocks wouldn't contribute to the progress of a portal. Mainly, the portal in the mineshaft would serve as a marker for where to complete a portal to link to an intact one in a new nether structure, a cobble base in the ground. There would be one or two loot chests and some traps in the nether portion. I think a novel new type of structure would really contribute, and this wouldn't be too complex of a build that ruins the trend of simple structures. [link] [comments] |
Plasmoids - Slimes of the End Void Posted: 17 Jan 2019 07:27 AM PST Plasmoids are player-sized blobs (model like the chorus flower), translucent with a core embedded inside. They look starry, like Cosmog from Pokémon. If you get too close, they pull you in. Once you collide with them, you get teleported outside of the gravitation range. They float about in the end void floating and slow falling. They randomly teleport around every few minutes. They drop portoplasm, a new item that can be crafted into a block. The block works like a plasmoid. On collision with it, you get teleported away. [link] [comments] |
The compost should't give you bonemeal. Right-clicking it will just fertilize crops surrounding it. Posted: 17 Jan 2019 11:30 AM PST First of all, turning plant material into bone... doesn't make sense. I think we can all agree on that... And i don't like the idea of the composter giving you a new fertilizer item if for all intents and purposes it will just be retextured bonemeal. Simple solution. You should be able to place the composter in your crop field. When it fills up, you right-click it and it fertilizes crops around it in a 5x5 area. As if you're dumping out the compost on your crops directly. It would add 1-2 growth stages, something a little weaker than bonemeal. No unnecessary new item. But if you really want an item, then we could probably be able to pick up a full composter too. That would also make sense as a giant bucket you'd put down and then start shoveling the compost out of. How about that? [link] [comments] |
Farmers should be able to use the composter Posted: 17 Jan 2019 03:15 PM PST The composter is great, and we have a small issue with farmers when farming wheat and beetroot - they eventually fill up with seeds and can no longer farm. My suggestion: if a farmer has more than 3 slots full of items, he will prioritize putting seeds into the composter. From there, items starting from the first slot until 3 or less slots are filled. This solves an issue, while giving an additional purpose that feels like it would be intended. [link] [comments] |
Campfires should attract Foxes at night!! Posted: 17 Jan 2019 02:57 PM PST During Night time if you place a campfire in a Taiga Biome, foxes will be seen slowly approaching. Perhaps even you could see their eyes gleam in the dark. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 01:01 PM PST So they added a new block for turning food items and stuffs into compost right? Why not use rotten flesh as well? Seems a suitable use for it. We can't cook it, and we can only feed it to our dogs. So this would give it 2 uses instead of 1, unless I'm missing anything. [link] [comments] |
Making a snowman with Jack o'Lantern Posted: 17 Jan 2019 10:27 AM PST Making a snow golem with Jack o'Lantern should spawn a snow golem with a Jack o'Lantern on it's head instead of the regular carved pumpkin. It won't emit light. [link] [comments] |
Right clicking fire, campfire or a blaze with a stick should turn it into a torch Posted: 17 Jan 2019 06:58 AM PST |
Rotten Flesh should go into the Composter Posted: 16 Jan 2019 07:08 PM PST Rotten Flesh is borderline useless except for feeding Dogs, which can be done with any old meat. Since Rotten Flesh just seems to pile up in your storage, I suggest an actual use for them. Allow them to go into Composters. That way you can actually use them and would value collecting them. Posted: 17 Jan 2019 02:55 AM PST Composter should be described in json datapack - the ingredients, chances and output. With this in mind, it should be able to make ex-nihilio mod like composter (change output to dirt) or it could be easy to disable/enable/boost some ingredients for mapmakers. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 03:54 PM PST Steel would be made in a blast furnace from putting gun powder as the feul and iron on top. It would consume on iron and two gun powder per steel ingot. Steel is a darker metal (kind of like the anvil color) and can be crafted into armor, weapons, tools, and steel doors. -Armor Provides more protection and ALOT more durrability -Swords Equal damage to an iron sword with more durability -Tools Break faster than iron but slower than diamond and more durrability -Doors Crafted the same as any other door but out of steel. This door will not open for redstone signals only a key to which it is linked. To link a key place the door and the key in a crafting table to link them. Once linked no more keys can be linked to the door unless you put the linked key and an unlinked key in a crafing table. To lock the door sneak and click on it once. To unlock it do the same. If it is unlocked anyone can open it when it is locked nothing can open it until unlocked by a valid key. -Crafting a key A key is just on ingot on the bottom with to nuggets going up from it [link] [comments] |
Smoker and Blast furnace changes (1.14) Posted: 17 Jan 2019 07:02 AM PST Unless you live under a rock, you would know that the 1.14 snapshots added the smoker and the blast furnace, they are basically better versions of the normal furnace. Smoker I think the smoker should have both fire particles and campfire particles puffing up through the hole on top of the smoker, the normal smoke particles would be more abundant and the big puffs(campfire smoke) would only puff out every 3-6 sec, and only go up to 5-8 blocks. Blast furnace I am not an expert on furnaces and stuff like that, but the name of the blast furnace, makes me think that inside the furnace, there are some mini-explosions happening to melt away the "rock/stone" parts of the ore. and I think that, like the smoker, it should use both types of smoke, but puffing out of the sides, instead of through the top, because blast furnaces don't have holes on the top. Posted: 17 Jan 2019 03:25 PM PST I propose different colored slimes for different Biomes. Not only would it add an aesthetic look, but it could be used to make colored slime blocks! I was thinking like Green for planes, Red for Mesa, white for taiga, red for Mesa, etc. [link] [comments] |
Jungle Villages should be in the tree tops Posted: 17 Jan 2019 02:18 PM PST Like each building would be one tree top with wood slabs covering the leaves to make a floor and have fences as railings. And they could be connected with fence/slab bridges. I always felt like the jungle tree tops needed something [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 06:19 AM PST It would be pretty cool to have redstone be powered by a special block that is rotated by water. That would make some preatty cool water contraptions. [link] [comments] |
You should be able to use leads on pandas. Posted: 17 Jan 2019 02:47 AM PST You can use leads on polar bears so it makes sense that they should work on panda bears as well. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 02:29 AM PST •Add a fertilizer (same use with bonemeal except it's just for plants and obtainable only by using composer •A full composer can make crops produce 1 extra item (in the radius of 3 blocks around it, not sure bout the idea though) •poisonous potato, rotten flesh, raw/cooked food can be put into a composer [link] [comments] |
What it should say when you die on a campfire. Posted: 16 Jan 2019 07:59 PM PST When you die it should say "(player name here) tried to be a marshmallow" Or "(Player name here) thought he was a marshmallow" Or "(Player name here) found out he wasn't a marshmallow" [link] [comments] |
