| The DSSR Server [Vanilla]{Whitelist}{Discord}{1.13.2} Posted: 22 Jan 2019 07:47 AM PST The DSSR is a new vanilla survival whitelist server opening as of last week, with a completely fresh map. However some of the mods and core-players have been playing together for over two years, so we know each-other well and you could say that it is a tight-knit community. We have a fully functioning discord and forum, but to get into the server/discord you have to apply on the forum and obtain +5 yes votes from the current community. Our age limit is 16+, however if you are turning 16 soon, we will usually turn a blind eye. We currently average around 3-10 players on at all times with it peaking in the evenings of around 15-16 people on at one time. Our mod team is experienced, and deals with everyone and every problem fairly. While they keep things from getting out of hand in game, they do not decide the fate of the server. Any 'major' thing/issue/suggestion/change are voted for as a group, so every member has a say in what happens to the server. Every suggestion is considered, no matter who you are. Two of the current moderators used to moderate a server where our current community comes from, however we left our positions as moderators and eventually the server, as we felt like the community had turned into something we never wanted it to be and so we wanted to rebuild what we once had. So with the help of our new moderators, we plan on doing just that with this server. On the old server we used to average 5-10 players and peaked at 20-22 players, it was very successful for a long time and we plan on bringing that back to this server. If a classic Vanilla experience with mature players in a grief free environment is what you've been searching for, then we have a home for you. Our rules are pretty standard: 1. Griefing is an instant ban. Nowadays its easy to find out who did damage to other players using their player data. A simple rollback can repair all the damage but the player who griefed will be punished. 2. Stealing is also an instant ban. When you are desperate and just quickly need some materials you can ask a player to borrow some items, but do not take anything without permission. 3. Do not ask for items from the moderators. Everyone on this server is equal, and we all play in survival. Even the mods (they may use creative to fix some technical issues or checking for cheaters). 4. Be civil and kind, bullying/harassment of other players is not tolerated. This includes any form of racism which is completely unacceptable, as well as continuously causing/inciting drama within the community. 5. Do not deface/make spawn look ugly, we already have a plan for that area, so if you want to make to build your own building be sure that you go a little bit further from spawn (at least 400 blocks), the direction doesn't matter. 6. Do not take advantage of in-game bugs/glitches, if you find one please report it one of the server moderators – getting on the nether roof is allowed, if you want a hole to be made in the roof for you, let a server moderator know. 7. Farms are allowed, but please be considerate to other players. Do not create a farm which will cause excessive lag to the server. This is supposed to be a survival server made for a great community where no hacking or griefing is allowed. We have no plugins but we might add if it's requested. We are running Spigot with a slightly increased monster spawn cap, fire spread is disabled and OnePlayerSleep enabled. You will be expected to work together, form communities and interact with others, not just wander off into the wilderness . Welcome to the Broken Worlds; a dedicated fantasy-inspired role-playing server whose community has stuck together for over 6 years! Over this time, we have changed maps as the main storylines come to a close, but are now focusing on a much more longer-term map! In the beginning, we were heavily inspired by Dwarf Fortress. As years have gone by, we have slowly drifted away from that, but our current world is much more DF-inspired than previous maps. We are a vanilla server, with a few plugins. The system is still in progress, so some updates may happen. Our goal is to get a great community of like-minded individuals where we can play minecraft, make friendships, and most of all have fun! Features:TownyAfter searching through many plugins to use as our main gamemode, we decided on Towny. Towny is the most feature-heavy and user-friendly plugin there is for building towns and nations. I do understand that this plugin is quite complicated, and command heavy, so I have also added the /tgui plugin to help ease new players into the game. This handy plugin displays all of Towny's commands in a easy to understand GUI. Of course, people who prefer the regular Towny commands can still do so. Custom TerrainWe now use the Biome Bundle pack of Open Terrain Generator (OTG). This mega pack includes over 400 biomes and 2000 custom structures. This is exploration at its finest for our community! You can find loot or a new home at the custom structures. McMMOWe are using the most popular RPG plugin out there. McMMO brings 13 different skills that you can level up. All of them are extremely well made. We have some additional addons installed to put your skilling fun to the next level. Both of these can be toggled in game, if you prefer not to use them. Exp Bar - This uses the Boss Bar API to show an experience bar at the top of your screen. Action Messages - This will display McMMO messages in the action bar instead of in chat, making it far less spammy.
