I'm 22 years old, live in Europe and I have been playing Minecraft since 2011. (Beta 1.2.) I used to run my own server years ago, but it eventually died out as people lost interest in Minecraft. Think of the server as singleplayer but where you can play with your friends :) (no spawn etc) There are some simple rules such as no griefing, no stealing, and respect others. The server is constantly growing player-wise and progress-wise. Today evergreen vanilla is on its 2nd revision (The comeback :D) and we have around 10 players currently and are looking for more. Our historyEvergreen vanilla (The first server) started on April 4th, 2018 and had substantial growth in the coming weeks, our server was growing and it was fantastic, but as we soon would realize the interest was dwindling around August and the server was kind of halting in terms of progress on the server. In November the server was retired until January 12th, 2019. Now the server has been up for a week and we are back in full force! A new moderator has been added and alot of systems have been improved (back-end) and the application process has been more streamlined. In summaryEvergreen Vanilla's 1st season started April 4th 2018 and ended around November. Evergreen Vanilla's 2nd season started January 12th, 2019 and is ongoing. You will be expected to work together, form communities and interact with others, not just wander off into the wilderness . Welcome to the Broken Worlds; a dedicated fantasy-inspired role-playing server whose community has stuck together for over 6 years! Over this time, we have changed maps as the main storylines come to a close, but are now focusing on a much more longer-term map! In the beginning, we were heavily inspired by Dwarf Fortress. As years have gone by, we have slowly drifted away from that, but our current world is much more DF-inspired than previous maps. We are a vanilla server, with a few plugins. Search for 'BWRP' on Technic and select the vanilla option. We have the SkillAPI plugin! Classes and professions are available, with a number of different skills. The system is still in progress, so some updates may happen. The WorldWe have custom-written lore, put together by our team of Storytellers (our moderators) and Community Managers, custom-made maps and a rich backstory of both regions and individuals in this world. All of this lore is often put forward by the players, working it into their backstories of their characters. DwarvesWith a world crumbling to an end at his feet, Beor Fellhammer, First and Last Dwarven God of the Second Pantheon, cradles in his palm his cherished homeland. Reaching into the void, he brings Dwarves from the time of their deaths to him, in order to build a better future. Dwarves from all realms and times have found themselves waking up in a small, rudimentary chapel, dedicated to Beor. This chapel is, in turn, found within a larger Fortress; Rakust Dosîm. The world outside has been changed drastically. Surrounding the Fortress; a gigantic chasm pockmarked with caves, with a magma ocean stretching as far as the eye can see. Dwarves have settled into their new surroundings, building rooms, workshops and chambers to suit their needs. As the population grows and more questions arise, only time will tell what will be revealed. ElvesRecently, the Elven race has shown itself within this world as well! As they have, too, fled a failing world they have somehow ended up in ours. However, their realm is an idyllic one, still accessible from the caverns within the mighty underground map. Role-PlayingOn this server, you will be playing a character. For this world, specifically, you will be playing a Dwarf who has been displaced from their home (whether they remember that or not, is up to you). Think of a backstory, which can be as detailed as you want. Where does your Dwarf come from? What are their interests? How do they talk and act? Are they brave or cowardly? Each role has different perks and are able to progress and rank up to gain even more perks. Perks can be used for convenience, fun or to profit. Most importantly, the roles are designed such to enforce teamwork and strengthen the community. Constructor Specializes in building advanced mechanics, gathering materials, crafting special blocks, and founding towns. This includes creating elevators, fast crafting, item mailboxes and much more. Trader Set up shops and casinos to profit from other players. As a Trader you need to keep a constant eye on the fluctuating economy to keep your earnings high! Can create chest shops, slot machines and more. Warper Infused with experimental powers, Warpers have the ability to bend space and time. This includes teleporting to other players, warp jumping, produce special enchants and more. EconomyTo dictate the worth of items we have a dynamic server shop where players can buy/sell items. The more stock the shop gets, the more an items price will drop. This encourages player trading, but also allows another option and a way of making money. We don't have any in-game donation perks, and such there are no 'pay-to-win' options. I've decided to step that up by only allowing /spawn (and a few kits) avaliable at spawn. No /home. No /tpa. Nothing. You will have to carefully judge how far away from spawn you should build. Closer means more rewards for you, further away is safer. I want everyone to have to experience the 2 day trek back to their base as I once had to do many times. Our goal is to get a great community of like-minded individuals where we can play minecraft, make friendships, and most of all have fun! Features:TownyAfter searching through many plugins to use as our main gamemode, we decided on Towny. Towny is the most feature-heavy and user-friendly plugin there is for building towns and nations. I do understand that this plugin is quite complicated, and command heavy, so I have also added the /tgui plugin to help ease new players into the game. This handy plugin displays all of Towny's commands in a easy to understand GUI. Of course, people who prefer the regular Towny commands can still do so. Custom TerrainWe now use the Biome Bundle pack of Open Terrain Generator (OTG). This mega pack includes over 400 biomes and 2000 custom structures. This is exploration at its finest for our community! You can find loot or a new home at the custom structures. McMMOWe are using the most popular RPG plugin out there. McMMO brings 13 different skills that you can level up. All of them are extremely well made. We have some additional addons installed to put your skilling fun to the next level. Both of these can be toggled in game, if you prefer not to use them. Exp Bar - This uses the Boss Bar API to show an experience bar at the top of your screen. Action Messages - This will display McMMO messages in the action bar instead of in chat, making it far less spammy.
