Strawberries, Golden Strawberries, Chocolate Strawberries, and Potions of mining. Posted: 24 Feb 2019 11:47 AM PST Strawberries can be found on Strawberry bushes most commonly found in Birch Forest. When eaten they fill only half a hunger but each Bush has 2-5 Strawberries on it. Golden Strawberries recipe requires a Strawberry surrounded by 8 gold nuggets. These can be used to make Potions of mining which give you Haste I for 1 minute and 30 seconds (gunpowder, redstone glowstone, etc. can buff this potion respectively). Golden Strawberries can also be eaten for 1 and a half hunger and a minor 8 second Haste I buff. Chocolate Strawberries can be crafted with a cocoa bean, sugar and a Strawberry. Chocolate Strawberries give half a hunger plus a minor 8 second speed I buff. Strawberries would also have a chance to spawn in villages that are in or nearby a Birch Forest. I feel Strawberries would finally give a reason to visit Birch Forest other than for birch wood. They would also encourage mining as potions of mining would make mining easier and more efficient. I feel Chocolate Strawberries also would become a food of choice for some during Bossfights or PVP. Overall I think Strawberries would be a great addition to Minecraft. [link] [comments] |
Charcoal should have its own blocks as well Posted: 24 Feb 2019 02:56 PM PST As we have the coal block, I feel the need of a charcoal block. As wood is far easier to obtain stacks of, this can make huge smelting possible early game. Coal won't lose its usefulness, as wood is still a valuable resource for early game simply for it to be used for smelting, but it gives the option to put massive fuel for smelting (without the need of a cacti farm, which might be automatic but if the chunk isn't loaded all the time, the redstone stops and doesn't feed the furnace automatically, which again, becomes manual. On the other hand, too many redstone contraptions on spawn can cause a massive lag) [link] [comments] |

Players killed by Charged Creepers drop their heads Posted: 23 Feb 2019 06:59 PM PST Currently, all heads are obtainable in survival, except for player heads. My suggestion would be that players drop their head if killed by a charged creeper. Maybe they'd only drop the head of their own skin if on a server, but just a steve head on local games, in case you're not connected to the internet. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 11:38 AM PST Possible enchantments can let the crops grow faster, maybe looting/fortune can give more per harvest, and maybe water can reach farther in soil filled by said enchanted hoe. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 03:58 AM PST Currently, mineshafts are just long tunnels with chests inside, that basically it, in my opinion, there should be rooms in mineshafts so that the tunnels actually lead somewhere. Main base of operationsThe center of the mineshaft, the whole mineshaft generates around this structure, Broken Portal RoomBroken portal rooms sometime appear at the end of some tunnels, these rooms only generate in 45% of mineshafts in your world, they generate with a chest with Nether related blocks and items. Underground gardenthe underground garden room is filled with crops and flowers, sometimes there might be composer too, the loot in the chest are seeds and damaged hoes Monster Prisonsome hallways hold prison cells with zombies or skeletons inside, sometimes they are just empty Surface entrancesometimes a small house or a cabin leads to the main room with a ladder, this entrance only generates in 50% of mineshafts in your world [link] [comments] |
Pigs should be neutral, or some should spawn as Hogs which are neutral. Posted: 23 Feb 2019 08:05 PM PST Hogs are actually very dangerous creatures, so it would only make sense if either pigs were able to fight or some would spawn as a bigger, more powerful hog. These animals would be extremely dangerous, but drop a new type of meat; hog chop. Raw, it restores 3 food point. Cooked, it will restore everything. For this, that is the reason that the hogs would be very dangerous. A GREAT CHALLENGE FOR BEGINNERS!! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 24 Feb 2019 10:06 AM PST I've seen the stonecutters have been updated to look likes powered saws. Although, I was thinking about how they don't hurt you when you touch the blade. Could that be an option? I don't know if I'm on a real suggestions page or if it's just a fanmade scam, but I really don't like the idea of defeating a Wither, falling down to bedrock, almost drowning in lava, only to come back up and find I can't be chopped to death. They would also make good traps, if you had a zombie and instead of walking around them like they do with holes, they limp straight into them. Could be an easier way of getting mob heads too. Blizzards (Bedrock Edition and Java Edition) Posted: 24 Feb 2019 03:27 AM PST If trees turn white in the Overworld in Bedrock, there should be a new weather event: Blizzards What happens in a blizzard? A blizzard will make it dark like a thunderstorm. There is no thunder or lightning however, and any water exposed to the sky freezes much quicker than normal. Lava becomes very slow to move, and even has a chance of condensing into magma blocks! The blizzard also makes horse riding difficult due to very poor visibility. The normally gently moving snowflakes move in an erratic, fast way, and howling wind can be heard outside. The player can skip the blizzard, even during the day by sleeping. The render distance is reduced to 4 chunks in a blizzard, and hostile mobs spawn during a blizzard. Requirements: A thunderstorm Snowy biome Winter Season (not needed if in a cold biome, first seasons have to be implemented for season based blizzards to occur) Effects on Mobs and the player Villagers go inside during a blizzard. If the player stays out too long in a blizzard, they start taking 1/2 heart damage every 4 to 7 ticks, and will eventually die. To prevent death, use Leather Armour. Leather Boots help you trudge through deep snow better. Endermen hate blizzards, as snow is simply frozen rain. Chicken and Sheep can survive a Blizzard due to having warm feathers (Chickens) and wool (Sheep). Wolves can survive a blizzard as well as foxes, longhaired cat breeds and longhaired dog breeds (if these get added to the game) Undead mobs move slower, due to the fact that blood is no longer warm after death. Creepers explode at a slower rate. (Cause its cold) TNT takes twice as long to explode. (Cause its cold) Although TNT is not a mob, it is an entity, so it kinda counts.. Blazes die instantly. Skeletons move much more slowly. Zombie children play in the snow, as well as Villager children. Magma Cubes die instantly. Keep your animals in a building to keep them from freezing to death. Blizzards do not affect things underground. They only affect things exposed to the sky. So, thats a huge long description of my idea. The idea is, that if there are rainstorms in Minecraft, why not blizzards as well? It would help add a good mechanic and challenge to snowy biomes. Surviving a blizzard without leather armour should grant you the achievement "Let the storm rage on", in which you have survived a blizzard without any leather armour. I really think this would be beneficial to Minecraft, even the Bedrock version. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 23 Feb 2019 10:50 PM PST The depths are a large new biome in the end that makes exploring the end a little more risky, but a lot more valuable to go to. Here are the features: Terrain/Blocks • Large tunnels and caves of End stone lit by stalactites and stalagmites of glowing Enderslime, a new block that is similar to regular slime but looks more flowy and purple. • Enderslime also forms vines that connect each collection of blocks. • Elytra is reccommended when exploring this environment because of how perfect it is for gliding. • Endshrooms grow from all sides of the tunnels, with all of their heads facing up. This makes gliding easier as you can jump from platform to platform. Mobs • Lurkers are large, snake-like mobs that slither across the floors and walls. They pose no threat to the player and can easily be killed to collect mysterious spines, which can be brewed to make potions of harming. • Endermoths are moderately sized flying creatures that fly around the depths and usually hang out in groups. Their extreme social behavior and intelligence is represented by an almost human form with striking purple wings. They can easily pick up the player and can throw them to other Endermoths, almost like they are "playing" with you. However, not all Endermoths are aggressive. Some will simply watch the player from a distance and others will even come right up to them, making clicks and other alien sounds. If you feed the friendly ones a rabbit's foot, it will follow you around and persuade aggressive Endermoths to not pick up the player and will even fight the ender dragon with you. They will also fly besides you after you return to the overworld, but they are more of a trophy or pet than a tool or weapon at that point. When killed, they have a chance of dropping a purple wing, which can be used to brew a potion of levitation. • Endermites are a mob that most players know already, but are able to climb Enderslime vertically. They are often picked up by Endermoths and eaten. Other Notes • There will always be a tunnel in the depths that leads you to or near the obsidian pillars. • Very rarely, a nether portal that is 5x3 blocks will appear. That's all I had in mind, let me know if there are any features that could also be added that are related to this! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 12:13 PM PST How do you think mining should be updated and changed? (I'm thinking that there should be more underground biomes, structures, and even exclusive mobs. To encourage caving, ore generation limits should be far more lenient). [link] [comments] |
Posted: 23 Feb 2019 11:54 PM PST the last wave of a raid should ALSO contain an illusioner. I think we need to give it a drop though... how about a weather totem? It should also summon fake copies of other raid mobs. A fake stampede of evokers would scare some players away... [link] [comments] |
Putting an elytra on a horse makes it able to glide through the air Posted: 24 Feb 2019 04:57 AM PST |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 03:06 PM PST Mining TNT will need an iron pickaxe and 5 tnt (shapeless) it's explosion will go up/down or left/right depending on how the tnt will be facing, it will go up to 15 blocks but has the chance to be a normal tnt explosion (15%) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 02:58 PM PST These would be like early game elytra with many negatives to balance it. Crafting- [-------] [ iron ingot] [------] [Stick ] [leather ] [ stick] [Stick ] [ leather] [ stick] Using them- These have horible durrability(and will actually break unlike elytra) and are unstable while flying. When you are flying you will woble around this woblinging will increase dramaticly when flying higher or using fireworks (using fireworks would basically make you swirl around a 6 block radius). Texter- I dont have a picture but there would be a small iron piece at the top with sticks going down the sides and janky leather looking wings between them [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 08:10 AM PST In increases your chances of getting mob/player heads ,maybe by 5(10?more?!?)% per level(up to level 3) Both for sword and axe [link] [comments] |
We need to be able to center flowers Posted: 23 Feb 2019 06:51 PM PST Have you ever placed a flower wanting it to be in the centre of the block but it was just slightly to one side? Well I have the idea to fix this. Maybe if you shift and click a flower with a hoe, then it would rotate through all the positions on the block until you have found the position you want it to be in. (Like an armour stand) In game, hoes are one of the least used tools so adding another use would help it become more used. A lot of people will look at this and think it's useless, but if your a builder and/or a perfectionist then this would be a very useful feature to have. [link] [comments] |
Allow minecarts to be linked up, like train carts Posted: 23 Feb 2019 04:53 PM PST So you can pull minecart chests with your own minecart, and things like that [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 05:50 AM PST There should be quiver slot... Not sure if you should have to craft an actual quiver first, but if you did, the recipe should be something simple, like With L standing for leather. So a V shape of leather. Or if you want it to cost a bit more you could go for either a long V: Or the sex die pips: And i feel that, especially if you have to craft the quiver, it should hold more than one stack, but not too many. I feel that for the slot it should hold three stacks at most, and for the craftable ones five or six stacks. Also, you naturally wouldn't be able to mix and match arrows. If you try and put different type of arrows in the slot, you would either get multiple stacks as one until you clicked in your inventory, where they would place as normal, separate stacks of up to 64. Or if you clicked back into the quiver, it would just swap back in the full extra large stack. Also, if the quiver is craftable, when you remove it, it should retain all the arrows in it. It would show the number of arrows it has, even if it was more than 64. Also, feel free to ask for clarification if something is in your opinon left vague. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Feb 2019 02:44 AM PST Swords{Axes,[Technically] Bows, Crossbows}, and Tridents, the only weapons In game. Not a lot there really. So here are my suggestions: Knives/Daggers:Knives is a dual welding weapon, made with two sticks and two raw materials on top, and it gives two knives. Visual representation: [Material] [nothing] [Material] [Stick] [nothing] [Stick] If one is held, It does less damage than a sword, but has a lower attack recharge rate. If you hold both in the main and offhand, the damage and speed increases. It has a shorter range than the sword. Can be thrown. Enchantments: usual sword enchantments, except sweeping edge, plus loyalty and a new one, The way it works is that for every hit, you thrust forwards. It has 3 levels. Lvl. I: 0.75 blocks Lvl. II: 1 block Lvl. III: 3 blocks SpearsSpears are weapons with the purpose of increasing the players range. Crafted with two sticks and a raw material diagonally to craft it. Visual representation: [Material] [nothing] [nothing] [nothing] [Stick] [nothing] [nothing] [nothing] [Stick] It does more damage than the sword but significantly slower, and has a five block range Enchantments: usual sword enchantments, minus sweeping edge, plus a new one: Range Basically increases the range of spears. Has 2 levels: Lvl. I: 6 block range Lvl. II: 8 block range HammersHammers are heavy, high-damage-slow-movement type of weapon, crafted with block variants of raw materials (except wood, which uses the log, and stone which uses normal stone instead of cobblestone) Visual representation: [Raw material] [Raw material] [Raw material] [nothing] [Stick] [nothing] [nothing] [Stick] [nothing] It has high damage, but very slow, it also slows down the player if in its hand, slows down less if in inventory. It has slow equipping speed as well, but has a special slam move, similar to sweeping edge, in which if a player hits the block directly below him whilst crouching , will cause a shock wave, damaging anyone in a 3x3 radius, and push anyone in a 5x5 radius. Uses up hunger. Enchantments: usual sword enchantments, except sweeping edge, sharpness or fire aspect, plus three new ones: Crash, weightless and Thor's blessing. Crash Increases the slam move radius. Has 2 tiers: Lvl. I: damage radius 4,knockback radius 6 Lvl. II: damage radius 5, knockback radius 7 Weightless Decreases the weight of the hammer, has 5 levels: Lvl. I: +10% speed Lvl. II: +20% speed Lvl. III: +30% speed Lvl. IV: +50% speed Lvl. V: +75% speed Thor's blessing is a rare enchantment. Summons one lightning bolt on anyone In the damage radius, single tier enchantment. So I hope ya'll like my ideas, might make another one with other weapons, I am aware that some of these ideas are on the FPS page, so I tried to add some new stuff on. Thanks to u/InsertNameHereTF for modifying my ideas [link] [comments] |
